Called Affordable Roofing to get a quote for replacement of my roof. When he found out I was doing it through their financing company, never bothered to give me a call back and conveniently just said that they dont do a small job like that. Well I guess its good riddance even before I had the trouble of working with them.

Considering he never showed up, not good!

We were braced for the typical "construction experience"...we were sooo wrong! Jim told us the job would be completed in 3-5 weeks...it was done in 5 weeks. Now don't forget the job was in process from Jan 20 thru Feb 21. We had not one, but several snow storms along the way! I was impressed by the courteous, professional attitude of each of the gentlemen who worked in our home. They always treated us and our home with consideration and respect. They were working every day possible We never felt like they were off on another job and would eventually return as has happened to many of our friends. Anthony and Ron started with the demolition and installing the new windows one of which is a garden window. The section of the siding of the house had to be replaced. Ron matched it and now you would never know any work was done in that area! Throughout the entire project Anthony was the ever present right hand man, jack of all trades, expert at many of them. John is the detail man (master carpenter) who hung the cabinets, worked with the tile backsplash and made sure every aspect was sized and placed perfectly. The attitude of each man is summed up as.... if you say..."it's good enough" ...it isn't! It must be done right or do it over. Jim, the owner would come virtually each day or speak with me on the phone discussing options and suggestions and concerns we might have as the project progressed. If there was something we weren't completely satisfied with it was changed without hesitation. Jim would tell me he does things in my home with the same concern as he would have in his own home. I LOVE my new kitchen!!!! It is everything I hoped for and more. I highly recommend Affordable Home Services as a company and as a group of honest, professional, gentlemen. I

You have to remember to be specific in what you want, because that is what you will get. He is good and he is clean. He came out on time and there is nothing hidden. He is very trustworthy. If you need something extra done he will do it for you. He did a little something when I asked him to come back, because the one corner piece of my overhang loosened up, and I asked him if he would be able to do something about that and he said it was no problem, he would send a guy down here right away at no cost. The guy came down and he was here the very next day and he fixed it. I was amazed. He works with you. If you have a situation or a problem he will work his way around it. We did it all with a gentleman's agreement, on a handshake. I didn't have to sign no paperwork or no nothing. I didn't have the money right then and there to pay him when he was done. I had it within five days. I sent him a check and I wrote him a nice note. He said he was going to be there in the morning. He gave me a small window and he was there by the end of the window. I didn't see the guy who did the work, but it looked good from the ground. He was good. He wasn't precise, but he covered everything.

Affordable always answered his phone and even called me an hour before scheduled appointment time to confirm. I never heard from affordable again after he looked everything over

Jim the owner has been responsive from start until finish. Their estimate was middle of the road when it came to a price. What really impressed me was their professionalism and responsiveness. Jim is also a very warm person - that definitely came across over the phone. Also, I liked the fact that it's a family business - one of his sons did the estimate. The windows came in 2 weeks after placing the order, as promised. I called them to schedule the installation and they were prompt and finished on time. They were very neat - very few things to clean up after they were done with the work. I will definitely call them up for future work.

However, I,m working with another provider. The other provider is certified with the manufacturer and this, I understand, has an affect on the length of the warrantee. Affordable Home Services did not specify that they are certified.

Everything was fine. They're pretty much punctual, they come out and did what they said they would do so that's about everything.

Affordable Home Services were pretty good. I liked them and they were good. The guy was very knowledgeable. He came out, met with me and the only reason we didn't go with them was because of the price, he was over the budget for what we wanted.

We've had to call them back a few times because the roof was still leaking. It started leaking on the inside around the window. They come back when you call them, but they haven't gotten it fixed yet. It is hard to know until it rains. The owner came out the next day and took a look. They stand behind what they do so they have come back to fix the problems that we've seen. We didn't get many other prices is because we have a slate roof and not many people do slate roof.

They installed some windows for me. I thought I had an issue with the instillation. They came back to check on the problem and found out it was not from the window instillation. It nice that they came back to check on the issue promptly several times.

This is a family run business. I would be comfortable having them in my home for the duration of a long construction or remodeling project.

They do all kinds of work for the house inside and out. They are a company of trustworthy and easy going. They are willing to make exceptions for you. I would highly recommend them and it's a company you would not be sorry that you called.

I called, set up appt and he arrived with samples a couple of days later according to MY convenience. Took the measurements, showed me a choice of windows. He ordered the window and when it arrived it was installed and the workers left the area clean. It was only one window, but it was a positive experience all around.

They showed up when they were supposed to. They were polite, professional, looked at the job and gave us the quote when they said they would.

Affordable had sided the house next door and I thought they did a wonderful job. When I needed my bathroom redone, I called them for an estimate. Jim made an appointment for an estimate and was on time, courteous and helpful with the design. We agreed on a start date and not only did they start promptly on that date, but there was not one day during the two weeks' of estimated time that they were not on the job. Unexpected matters cropped up, rules relating to old lead paint had to be accommodated - certain items were not ready on time - a plumbing emergency cropped up and the plumber needed to get to the problem through the kitchen ceiling. Jim and Ron calmed me down and repaired the ceiling when the repair was made. All this increased the time of the work by a few days, but they took care to make sure inconvenience was kept to a minimum. Because my house is old, I was concerned about plaster dust going through the house but they covered my carpet, closed off the area and not one speck of dust filtered through to the rest of the house despite the fact that they were unable to use an exhaust fan because of the rules about removal of lead paint. Ron and Jim were extremely helpful when I changed my mind about an item in the design and even offered better suggestions than mine to amend the situation. For that I was extremely grateful. Their work is professional, beautiful, and clean. I was very impressed with the care they took to keep my house clean and neat. I'm also grateful for the concern they took to make sure my pets were safely out of harms way. I would gladly recommend the Federle famly and workers to anyone inquiring about their services.
