We brought our house a little over 2 months ago, we did a google search to find well reviewed contractors to come in and give us some estimates. After meeting with several contractors we felt overwhelmed, but then we met Giovanni, he walked us through our vision along with a few suggestions which we loved. He was straight forward and honest. After carefully reviewing all of our quotes we decided to go with A-1 Capital Construction, although they were not our lowest quote he was priced very fair. We had a great feeling right away and went with A-1. Giovanny started the following we after applying and receiving permits to start construction. Our renovation time frame was eight to nine weeks which for the most part he stuck to. He came out to our house to check on the progress and came to Home Depot with us to help guide us through the process. His partner Dennis is amazing and very professional he can build anything. We heard horror stories from our friends about their contractors and how they hated them. We love Giovanny and the work he did on transforming our house. It looks and feels amazing, we love coming home and feel in awe when we walk in. I personally told Giovanni if a customer is on the fence about a project he can come visit our house and we will personally show them before and after pictures of our house. We give A-1 Capital Construction and Giovanni 5 stars and would recommend the company to our friends.

Giovanny and his team did a full kitchen remodel in our new house, and we're incredibly happy with the final result. I was expecting the project to go on for several months, but to my surprise the demolition began at the end of November and every inch was completed by the first week of January. He has excellent project management skills, and ensured all aspects of the construction and inspections were done efficiently and without delay. I highly recommend this team and look forward to working with them in the future!

Giovanny and his team added a new bathroom on top of an existing bathroom and some closet/hall spaces for our home. The design was made on a tight space thus there wasn't too much room to wiggle. The frames had to be built very precisely to ensure the structures and fixtures were in their places. Many times throughout the project we had to change the details of the work to make the addition even possible. Giovanny and his team did it by providing impressive flexibility and professional workmanship. He was open and clear in communications and stayed on top of the works, big or small. The work was finished well within the schedule, thanks again for Giovanny's thoughtfulness and the ability to adjust on his resources. We really liked Giovanny's open mind when talking to customers like us. He accommodated many of our last minute requests without hesitations, especially when the walls were opened up and things weren't exactly what we expected. His guy Javier was really smart and capable. He was able to knock out many of minor changes smoothly in very short time. The pricing given by Giovanny was quite reasonable and things were done within the budget. It would be perfect if more time could be spent on the details. Overall we are very happy with what he had done for us. We would strongly recommend Giovanny to others with similar needs.

When people discusses renovation experiences you only hear horror stories but not in my case. I can not say enough wonderful things about my experience with A1 Capitol Construction Co. Especially the project manager Giovanny Calle and his wonderful crew. Everything went as promised, from the permits to the final cleanup. Everyone involved with the project was extremely professional, trustworthy and polite. They all worked together like a well oiled machine and went way beyond what is normally expected. They worked very cleanly and efficiently. I love my new kitchen and am looking forward to future projects with A1 Capitol Construction Co.

Giovanny was a perfect fit for our kitchen remodel. When he first stepped into our suburban NJ ranch house, he began beaming, as this type of project is his bread and butter. From the get go, everything went smoothly, primarily due to Giovanny's skill as a project manager. For example, on the day the building permit was issued, he immediately scheduled rough inspections, ensuring there would be no lag time between phases. All of the work occurred between 9a-5p, which was very considerate. Every other contractor I met with insisted upon an 8a start, which would have disrupted the household and annoyed the neighbors. Plus, when one aspect had an unanticipated delay, Giovanny sent a crew on Saturday to finish the work and keep the timetable on track. The work teams were impeccable. Each was a combination of a veteran with a young apprentice, a perfect mix of experience and enthusiasm. The electrician affiliated with A1 did such outstanding work, I would use him again independent of remodeling projects. Giovanny, as a team leader, was always accessible, and most important, stayed calm throughout the entire process. Pricing was very fair, and every promise was delivered. And this complete kitchen remodel was accomplished in under four weeks. We've all heard horror stories about renovations and contractors. My experience with A1 was a pleasant surprise. When the next major project comes up, I plan to reach back out to Giovanny.

Giovanny is as honest, kind, knowledgable and flexible a contractor as you are ever likely to find. Our renovation was a complete gut job of a 1920's tudor in Ridgewood and Giovanny's quote was better than 3 other competitors in the area, while still resulting in quality work and stunning results. Our kitchen is a showpiece now! Giovanny's crew was respectful and knowledgable (Dennis was great!), and Giovanny is creative in handling all of the different scenarios that pop up in any renovation. Ridgewood homeowners looking to renovate should definitely give Giovanny a call!

Giovanny is knowledgeable, patient and provides excellent recommendations and continuous feedback about the status of the project. The crew is hard-working, reliable, quiet and neat. I was quoted two similar prices by much larger franchises but I'm so glad I went with a local business. Giovanny even met me at the tile store to pick out floor and shower tiles. I will be hiring him for two additional projects as soon as possible!

I am a repeat customer. First job last year was to remodel our kitchen. The job was completed with outstanding results, in quality, workman ship and price. The second job completed this month, tear down and rebuild deck was also impressive with outstanding results. After having a bad experience with a previous contractor, I hired A-1 Capital Construction to complete my basement renovation and bathroom addition (left by my previous contractor). The guys were clean, I really didn't know I had a remodel going on. The only thing that held me up was that all my fixtures weren't in. Purchase all items before they come this way you are not running around last minute.

It is truly appropriate that A1 Capital's name starts with A1 - the owner and employees provide A1 services and results. Giovanny Calle is by far one of the most professional owner and project managers we have worked in the construction business. He is easily accessible, and is always in constant communication. His team members (plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry) are exceptional at what they do. They are meticulous, detailed oriented, and very easy to work with. We have our dream kitchen because of them and will enjoy it for many years to come. Thank you guys!

Giovanny (contractor) and his Crew remodeled two bathrooms for me. They did a great job on the work required. It was pretty difficult, as my house is old and had settled over time into non-square angles. At every turn, Carlos and his team had to work through the problem, and come up with creative solutions. My wife and I are happy with the work. The only advise i would give people looking to hiring A1, and this is probably true with every contractor, be on top of everything. From working on permits, to ordering materials be on top of everything, Including checking in every day.

Work was done in an excellent and very professional manner. Giovanni (contractor) was very professional in his work and how he handled anything that came up. The workers were excellent at what they did and how they performed. Very polite and courteous. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone! Don't even call anyone else, you just need these guys!!!

This company was awesome!!! The workers did great work and they worked very hard and very long hours. Giovanni (contractor) was very easy to talk to, easy to reach and worked well when we had any questions for him. He was always readily available to work out any problems we encountered and very willing to talk it with us. Our basement looks great and their hard work and dedication shows. I highly recommend anyone to give Giovanni a call and not to even worry about calling anyone else!!! We know that if we have anything else we need done, they will definitely be called.

I hate doing reviews but for a1 I think it is worth my time. Kitchen was ripped to the studs. The work they did was better then I expected. It was a slow process on my part as we were late on picking the material. We also had a bathroom removed and a new one added. I loved it so much I will be using them for my basement. They also added a 200 amp box as well as a generator feed and gas line to the back yard. They made sure that everything was done and met our needs to the fullest. I have already passed a friend to them
