Reviewed by Lois Hubbard in Prospect Park, NJ They came on a rainy day to inspect the hole in roof. Gave us a reasonable quote, however it was more damage then expected. They immediate secure the hole so no more rain came in the house. Came early next day and finished the job. They do excellent work, very pleased, would recommend them. We need more work done. We will call them again.

both Nino and Ramzey were great!!!! they came to do the job days before they were expected to do it and were very professional at the job at hand. had a chimney leak for several years--- had it worked on by others with problems again. they did the job, answered all questions and showed me with pictures they took of the problem and how it was dealt with. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT. price was right, job was done right and will call on them again.

True Value Construction was the first to respond to my inquiry. They were quick to come out (next day)and give me an estimate. After obtaining 3 other estimates theirs was the most reasonable. The job consisted of re-stuccoing retaining walls. The job came out better than we anticipated. Nino and Ramzey where professional, neat and took pride in their work. I would definitely recommend True Value Construction. Thank you for a job well done.

The stone work is newly-installed and looks solid. I was unable to compare proposals with the other HomeAdvisor pros because the existing front stoop was a tripping hazard for my mother-in-law. They were the pros that showed up on Sunday to look at the job - followed up with full install eight days later but I did not have much advance notice about timeframes and expectations to be paid in full as the concrete was drying - no time to even inspect the work as I was at work. My wife is happy, neighbors are paying compliments - it just seemed like a lot of money for a very small square footage of masonry refurbishing.

They did what I asked and did a bit extra.

Came out to see the project right away and gave me a quote on the spot, it was in line with the other numbers I got and I choose them because they were able to get the material and mobilize right away. They did a very good job, I will use them for future projects and recommend them to my friends and family.

They were prompt and completed work on time. Also hired them to fix roof leak. Had downpour that night and no leaks.

I needed existing patio and walk pavers reset. The original pavers were put down about 25 years ago. They sank, were uneven with moss growing between the pavers. This was clear to Nino when he came and looked at my patio. We agreed on a price and the date the job would be done. When he came to do the job I was at work and received a call that the job was more labor intensive than expected and he asked for an additional $800.00. I said no and that I would look for another contractor believing the job would not be done. My wife called me an hour later and said she asked him to just do the walk and agreed on a new price. Nino completed resetting the pavers for the walk before I came home from work. I was surprised that the quality of the work was so poor being other reviews on this website gave him 4, 5 stars. I was extremely disappointed in the outcome because the pavers are about 90% even and the gaps between the pavers was noticeable. I was expecting SAKRETE PermaSand to be used as we agreed upon in our original quote to fill the gaps and permanently set the paver. UPDATE: Nino came back and applied PermaSand and straightened out the pavers. as was expected when the job was first completed. The results are a lot better than when first completed. Although I still need to find another contractor to finish the job, the completed part by Nino is acceptable and completed at a fair price. My final review will be 2 ½ stars.
