Alex Ayala ["Mr. Alex",as he likes to be called], who is the owner, and his entire crew are some of the most professional people I have ever dealt with as far as home contracting is concerned. After Superstorm Sandy had damaged my home, I contacted several contractors, but i was most impressed with A & S Contractors. Alex came out to my property promptly, surveyed all the damage, and gave a very reasonable estimate, which was eventually mostly paid by my insurance company.. Alex was very, very patient waiting for the insurance money, but still did the necessary work in a most timely and professional matter. Alex and his crew would show up for work on my property on time each day. If there was any delay, Alex would call. A & S Contracting did a fabulous job on replacing my roof, attic work, vinyl siding, a great new deck, retaining walls, and repairing ceilings and painting to my home's dining room, kitchen, two of the three bedrooms that were damaged, and a family room in the basement. Alex and his crew would go way beyond the necessary work due to the storm damage. Alex treated my home like it was his own home. When there was a leak problem with my bathtub (totally unrelated to Sandy storm damage), Alex fixed the bathtub problem as well as the damaged ceiling in the laundry room due to the bathtub leakage. Alex and his crew opened up the laundry room ceiling, found the leak problem due to the above bathroom tub, repaired the tub, and repaired the bathroom ceiling -- all at no extra cost to me! Now that shows how Alex and his crew would go the extra mile for you! In summary, I cannot give enough Thanks to A & S Contractors and the SUPERB work they did on my house -- my home looks better and functions better than it ever did before!
