Alfonse missed several issues with my home.My attorney advised me to file a claim . Now Alfonse will not return my calls. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY... This is a picture of my chimney.If Alphonse went on the roof.How do he missed the issue

Alfonso came to my house and reported that I have moisture stains in the hallway wooden frame...THERE IS NOT.. I stripped the wood to give my kitchen a shabby chic look, obviously he doesn’t know the difference or he needs something to write about in his report

Alfonso was a mixed bag. He arrived 30 minutes late without a phone call, and when I called him to ask if he was on his way, his answer was, "On my way where? I'm supposed to do a home inspection in THIS weather?" (rain). I began to get flustered, and then he pulled up at the curb. Not the most professional way to start an inspection. He got started right away and was very thorough, identifying things such as termites and mold in the very back of the crawl space that other inspectors may have missed. He was also easy to communicate with through email. However, some of his attitude/sense of humor did make me, my husband, my father-in-law, and the realtor uncomfortable. He also missed a few minor things during the inspection, such as the fact that the screen door handle was broken, some siding was peeling away from a window frame outside, and that there was a crack in the front steps. Again, not a huge deal, but we were hoping for a very detailed inspection.

Alfonso is great! He's always on time and always try to get an appointment in as quickly as possible! He's very knowledgable and skilled at what he does. The best part is that he tries to explain everything in detail. He doesn't mind questions so he's a top pick when recommending to a first time home buyer! If there's any major issues he'll tell you what he would recommend if not he can recommend someone who will give you a better idea of what you can do.

More recently he did a home inspection on another house that we hope will be our forever home. I wouldn't think of going through any other home inspector -- Al will PROTECT you as the buyer against any and all building issues. Also, Al has the experience AND the education under his belt.

I used Alfonso's services twice before, two years ago, when buying my primary home in Old Bridge. A month ago, I hired Alfonso again to inspect an investment property I was purchasing in Keansburg. As before, Alfonso showed up exactly on time. The house had many issues that he identified which my partner and I missed - he spotted signs of termites and asbestos tiles and explained how to get rid of all this, not something we would notice. Not only Alfonso pointed issues out, he suggested the most cost-effective ways of fixing things and right away suggested contractors who specialize in these specific issues who are reputable and don't overcharge. He is genuinely interested in helping his clients, he gave us suggestions how to make the place more presentable for a potential buyer and also helped us think through how to approach some complicated issues with the house - switching from oil to gas heat, installing central AC, etc. I liked the fact that Alfonso adopts to changing client needs and addresses exactly what his client needs - when I was buying a primary home, he wrote his report in a way that helped me negotiate lower price with the seller, when I was buying this investment "as-is" property, he changed his approach to help us think of what repairs are really necessary and where we can save money. I will definitely use Alfonso's services again in the future.

The provider is professional, prepared, knowledgeable, provides well prepared written reports in a professional manner and is very responsive after the inspection. I highly recommend Al as a home inspector, he is trustworthy and has a superb knowledge of the building, code, plumbing, and electrical components of the inspection. He always makes accurate assessments. I have used Al's services for several properties that I own and highly refer his services to my clients. You can't go wrong with using Al!!!!

Alfonso was recommended to me by my realtor. There were a couple of other companies recommended to me by my cousin, who is a builder but i decided to do this my way and went with A. Advanced Home Inspections solely on a gut feeling. From the initial phone conversation, i knew that i was dealing with a professional. I explained my situation and the fact that the whole process of purchasing a home is new to me to Alfonso. He listened and took the time to explain all the steps and procedures involved in the home inspection. I called him on a Wednesday and he was at the property on Saturday morning. My dad, who bought his home in the mid 90's had told me that the Home Inspection takes about 10-15 mins.....Let me tell you if that is true, He was not dealing with a Pro. Alfonso took his sweet time and went over all the nooks and crannies of the house. He climbed on ladders and crawled on hes knees to make sure that all areas were looked up and all components were checked. When he was done after about an hour and a half, he could have left but he didn't. He stayed and gave me very valuable advice and pointers on how to handle some issues that i had with areas that he had nothing to do with is assignment. Since last week I've been recommending him to all my friends and family.
