I met with the rep of this company after I had received a proposal for $120,000 (yes $120,000) to fix the humidity problem in my basement. The sad thing was that company didn't understand why we didn't purchase that option. Quality First Basement came in presented a professional approach to solving my problem without overselling their approach. Utilizing a sump with battery back up and a low temperature dehumidifer with a hepa air cleaner they solved our problem for under $2,500. There was a problem that manifested itself after the installation and they came back twice at no cost to me to rectify the situation. They were pleasent to deal with and I can't express this enough, not the typical shyster/snake oil sales approach that you see in basement waterproofing business. I have no hestitation and would and have recommended them several times.

Efficient and clean work. Work finished as promised and there has been no water in our basement since then. The professionalism was truly impressive.

The estimator was on time and gave an accurate description, including time needed to complete the job. The workers were on time and efficient. They cleaned up the mess. I had a problem with the way the sump pump drained out of the house, and all it took was one phone call, and they were back at my house within 3 days to reposition the drain outlet. I would highly recommend these guys in the future.

Thorough beginning to end, worked totally independent of me, finished exactly on time. Covered everything, left everything clean, attentive to dust naturally created. I needed only sand the joints and paint the new sheetrock. Been bone dry ever since. Priced far below competition, yet with I think a superior product and honest attitude. Second time we used them (on another facility).

I have found the performance of the company and the services they provided completely satisfactory in every way. Their estimate process was low-pressure. Their price for the services was reasonable, they arrived promptly, according to the appointment schedule, and completed the job as promised. While installing such a system is a difficult business, they took every step possible to minimize the noise and dust resulting from having to break through the entire concrete perimeter of a basement. The job was neatly done, basement cleanup was excellent and they carted off all waste concrete and dirt resulting from the installation. Since the installation of the system, I have never had any water entering my basement, although this had been quite common during rainfalls prior to the installation. I have had numerous calls from other potential customers considering Quality 1st Basement and I have always provided them with a positive reaction and recommendation.

Although the price was a little high, I felt that having a dry basement, with the potential now to make it into an entertainment area, was worth every penny. Everyone I spoke with--office staff, sales guy, installer, was pleasant and respectful. I couldn't have asked for more. Quality 1st solved my nightmare and now I have a great new room in the house!

My first initial contact was with Siobhan. She set up my appointment very quickly and assured me that they can help us. She was so nice and polite. She made me feel at ease and made me feel comfortable. I really liked that she told me she was going to be mailing out a packet and a book about there company. That book was great! It helped me understand the problem I was having in my basement. The technician that came out was great too. He didn't pressure me at all. Even the crew that came to my house. Overall I had a great experience with this company. I would recommend them to anyone.
