I called quality 1st for recommendation to remedy bowing foundation walls. Their recommendation was placing a series of â powerbracesâ and excavating the exterior to relieve the pressure to get the wall as straight as possible. The ibeams powerbraces achieved the task of straightening. But thatâ s where the good ends. The excavated wall had about 4 tons of landscaping river rock which the sales guys and the workers prior to starting said they would remove prior to digging. Fail ! Not one rock was moved yet it just mixed together with rest of soil. Now where I had clean fill, has 4 ton of rock in the soil. They place a plastic wrap sealer for exterior wall that came in numerous strips taped together with duct tape. Rather than one clean wrap. They did not patch exterior cracks either. The footing was left exposed with no gravel. In interior of the walls they applied an caulk to the cracks that left a toxic smell for days after. No communication that this caulk/epoxy would give off fumes knowing I had an infant child. The â foremanâ never spoke to us once. They damaged my exterior power supply line with excavator after my numerous calls (since has reimbursed) . Has not taken responsibility for damaging fencing by laying the dirt against it. The crew acquired about half of river rock to place on top of the area. This was not a cheap job cost around $18k, I expected a lot more professionalism, comminication, and quality from them.

Our basement specialist was Wilbur, he and his crew were very professional, very much attention to detail, they left our basement and yard very clean. Not to mention it was great to work with such nice people. We will be recommending Wilber and your company to anyone looking for basement waterproofing!! Thanks so much!!

Highly impressed with the workmanship. A four man crew showed up on time. They laid tarps down to protect my floors. Installed the jacks in my crawl space in a timely manner and they even wiped clean all surfaces they touched and mopped the floor when they were finished and removed the tarps. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent job by the forman Juan and the entire crew, very professional, and courteous. This was a dirty job, breaking up cement floor with a lot of dust and concrete which was cleaned up continuously throughout the day with the dust kept mostly in the basement. They were on time arriving in the morning and finished up exactly as stated.

I have hired Quality 1st Basement Systems twice now and have been thrilled by their professionalism and work. The crew lead both times was Wilbur and the system design specialist was Mike Fiorillo. What I particularly appreciated about the sales process was how Mike worked with me to balance cost and efficacy. Regardless of what you decide to do, I would recommend at least getting a bid from Quality 1st. Additionally, on the day of installation, Mike arrived to help communicate the plan with Wilbur (crew lead) because of the complex nature of my foundational repair. Note: in between the 1st and 2nd job I had a structural engineer review my home and he specifically commented that he approved of the work done by Wilbur and his crew at Quality 1st. He noted that all other work previously done by the former home owners had serious flaws.

John and Matt were great to work with. The crew arrived on time did a great job and cleaned up after they were done. You never would know they were there. The work crew was very courteous.

If I could give these guys **no stars**, I would. I inquired on a solution to prevent the water from filling the window wells (as the water was rising up from the ground and seeping through the windows). Mike F. recommended Window Well Enclosure which comes with a bottom that would prevent the water from the upcoming first heavy rain and as it is as if the new product was not even there. When we reached out, no answer was provided. Then, they indicated that their FINE PRINT states that the product they sold me is not supposed to do what they told me it would do. When I escalated the situation to the supervisor, another quote was provided for a range between $3000-$5000 dollars. When I stated that I was not interested and would like to ask for a refund for the already provided product. NO ANSWER TO THAT. Needless to say, I WILL never use this company again.

The quality of work was excellent but I do have an issue that I need to speak with someone about as they left a huge hole without covering and I think they need to come back and fix it. It was like they did not extend the cover far enough in.

Our Salesman Chris Bowe was on top of everything. The two foreman, Nick & Sherman, were total PROS and did a GREAT JOB!!

Luis and his crew arrived promptly at the prearranged time. He introduced himself and we went over what they were there to do. They proceeded to bring in their equipment and went right to work. When the Sump pump and dehumidifier installation was completed they went over how it worked, advised how to register the respective warranties and started the new equipment. They thoroughly cleaned up the basement where they were working. Luis also went over the outside discharge line for the sump pump. I then exited the house while Luis sprayed for the mold conditions in the basement. I was very satisfied with the professionalism of Luis and his crew and will definitely recommend Quality 1st basements to anyone who are looking for this type of service.
