 + 0 moreMet with Mel Neulander who represents GlasscareInc. Upon meeting he and his wife I felt they understood my needs and would be efficient and timely in getting quotes and references to me. I received a quote four days after we met. The expectation was set that I would receive the quote within a couple of days. On the same day that I received the quote, I asked Mel for a follow up on references - this was 15 days ago and I have not heard back from him, one way or the other, even after I again emailed him a few days after my request for references - strange and needless to say, completely unprofessional.

 + -1 moreDisaster. This process began August 2009 and the work has never started. Granted, it does take time to get responses form tenant's collated. But vendor has been equally slow to respond. This is infuriating considering we essentially did all the sales and engineering work for the vendor. All the vendor had to do was prepare quotes, followup with those that we told him wanted to buy, arrange payment, and coordinate the installation date with the building Superintendent.
Description of Work: We requested a quote for window tint film for a 200-unit coop apartment building. We supplied the vendor with an engineering survey of all window panes in the building, polled all south-facing residents to find out who was interested, obtained vendor samples and distributed them to all interested residents, obtained overall quote from vendor, identified the dozen units who wanted to order, distributed vendor quotes to individual units, and supplied vendor with contact information. We also secured the the cooperation of the building Superintendent and put the vendor in touch with him regarding installation logistics.
