Entire process went very well - from estimating through installation. The Tomasso Team was very professional and finished the job on time.

One of the high gutters missed. They returned and corrected the problem. Front gutter on third floor overflows.

Great! They were very efficient--worked from morning until early evening almost nonstop. And the work was extremely neat--it's been a couple years (I'm writing this review two years after the project ) and there's no crumbling or chipping at all. People comment on the fine workmanship. A lot of masonry guys out there do sloppy work. These folks are top-notch. We're hiring them again for another project!

No problems work was done

I hired Tomasso in September of 2016 to repair my steps and replace a concrete walkway that went all the way around the house. It was a challenging setup as my house is on an incline and I have a landscaping on both sides of the walkway each with their own issues. I received an estimate from another well known and highly rated company in Union County that was quite a bit more expensive. I went with Mike and his crew and was not disappointed. Fair price and excellent work. Would definitely work with again.

This experience was good from start to finish, from the initial phone call to setup an estimate and go over our options to the completion of work. All of the workers were very polite and careful when working on my property. They even went out of the way to clean up and wash everything down at the end. The work they did was excellent! Our neighbors all stop by to give us compliments on the new driveway and walkway. I highly recommend working with Tomasso Contracting. The owner is extremely nice and very thorough when going over the estimate and possible options to chose from. We had several estimates and this was by far the smoothest one. It was also the best in terms of response time. Not to mention the cost was right on par and in most cases a little more affordable. The best part for us was the actual quality of work completed and performed. They came when scheduled and were finished as described. We are actually hoping to have them back to do a paver patio and retaining wall in our back yard.

Overall experience with Tomasso contracting was very good. Cindy in the office kept me updated with dates and delays. Work quality performed was above average. Would use contractor again.

They did an excellent job. The only problem was having to wait over a month for the contractor to get 9 foot limestone treads for the stoop. I would recommend this contractor.

This was a BIG project, much bigger than I had anticipated but Mike was the right man for the job. The old driveway was a total mess and couldn't be saved. From start to finish, this went about 10 weeks. The project: -- Excavate the old driveway and soil below; haul it away -- Install the underground piping for drainage away from the house -- Install electrical conduits from one side of the driveway to the other -- Haul in the new sub-base material and grade it -- Bring in additional sub-base material and complete final grading -- Lay down top layer of asphalt (3") -- Pretty up the concrete steps to the back door of the house (called plastering) This project also required coordination with my electrician, fence contractor, tree service, and gate installer. It was a lot of work getting everybody to show up on a schedule that worked with all the other contractors. Mike was a big help working this out and not leaving it up to me. Mike was very professional in his work and in ensuring that no corners were cut. This was particularly important with the tree adjacent to the driveway that had to be removed so that the roots wouldn't damage the new driveway. He made sure the tree contractor ground out the roots all the way down knowing that any wood left behind would eventually rot and cause the driveway on that side to sink. What I didn't realize going in was that the sub-base has to sit for at least a month (you can drive/walk on it; encouraged actually) so that it is fully settled prior to paving. With paving, it's all about the sub-base. We had to go a bit longer because it rained quite a bit and the sub-base needs to dry out plus Mike's paving machine was out of action for a week. The final grading looks real good, ensuring any water drains away from the house and toward the street. Mike has all the right equipment including a genuine paving machine, drive-on roller, and other compacting tools. The place looks great now and this will also be a big help in the winter when the driveway needs to be plowed. While I had Mike around I asked what he could do about our sad looking rear concrete steps, short of replacing them. For a lot less, he was able to plaster them (a skim coat of concrete) and they look like new. You can probably find someone to do this kind of work cheaper but you have to wonder if the finished project will be durable--after all, done right this kind of work should last a long, long time. Pretty at first doesn't necessarily equal durable. Mike and his crew worked efficiently and carefully, protected all the areas around the paving, and cleaned up everything.

Excellent all work was performed to schedule and contract approval.Everyone was a true knowledgeable professional and a pleasure to deal with. I would always call Tomaso Contracting for any and all Paving and Concrete I may ever need again,in the Future. I was kept informed and knowledgeable of all work schedules and details of work performed.

We called and they came very quickly to look at the job and the estimate was emailed to me quickly. We had quite a challenging schedule from our end and needed the work done quickly and only had a few dates open for the work and they worked very hard to accommodate us. The job turned out great, we learned a lot in the process, and have another job in mind for them in the future. Would use them again!

I called the day before the storm hit. I was reluctant to contact any provider due to it being last minute. Tomasso was able to put me on the schedule for the next day. After the storm, the driveway was completely cleared, as well as the snow the town plow pushed in front of my driveway.

Tomasso Contracting arrives before the storm to salt the areas. During the storm Michael and his crew are onsite a few times to keep the parking lots clear, the sidewalks free of ice and snow for our tenants. He is very patient and works with our tenants to move their vehicles and clear the lots. I recommend Tomasso Contracting to anyone looking for snow removal services. Michael goes beyond his duties to keep this complex free of snow and ice.

Call was placed to Tomasso Contracting office for estimate for paver brick walkway and flower bed wall Michael returned the call within a few hours and appointment was setup to come and give us an estimate that same night. Michael arrived on time, took dimensions and explained what would be done. He also brought a catalog for us to choose the style of hardscape pavers we would want for this project. He told us the cost and let us know that he'd email us a formal proposal within 24 hours. (email received and contract was signed and emailed back). We let him know that we wanted him to do the job. We had called 5 contractors and only two responded and came to give us an estimate. We chose Tomasso Contracting because Michael was on time, dressed and acted professional and also spent the time to go over everything with us. He gave us a start date when he was there. Michael and his guys arrived on the date and time that he told us he would. They were very professional and courteous to us. They worked hard and kept the area clean at all times. The job came out beautiful and have been recommending Tomasso Contracting to all our friends and family. While Michael was onsite working he gave us another estimate to do a concrete patio. Michael gave us the patio estimate when Tomasso Contracting was onsite installing our hardscape wall. Michael and his team were punctual on their arrival time. They worked the entire day and when they were finished they cleaned up and left the property very clean and everything was in order. They are hardworking and very professional at all times when they installed our new patio. We will be using them to install our new asphalt driveway.

Michael and his crew arrived at the scheduled time, the work was completed the same day and they cleaned the entire work area before leaving my property. I was very pleased with the work and have recommended Tomasso Contracting to many friends and work friends. Tomasso Contracting will be coming back in the spring to do a paver brick job.
