It went better than expected.
Description of Work: My basement needed to be sanitized because we had a very large, shedding, older dog spending a lot of time down there and he had a terrible odor for a variety of reasons. It was, in short, a total disaster. Janet's service came within one day of my phone call and they really worked hard and cleaned the place up at a very fair price. I have already recommended them to friends.

Description of Work: After the first meeting and getting an estimate the company sounded promising. The first cleaning was remarkable. The bi-weekly cleanings have not been anywhere near what I was expecting. The floors have still had crumbs and other items after they have left. I let Janet know and her response was the girls vacuum isn't working properly. Our bathrooms counters are marble and I have provided a cleaner safe for marble but suddenly they marble has dullness and marks on it. The last cleaning our master bath counters looked dirtier when they left because they used something like Softscrub which created a film but they never wiped it down. The job feels very rushed and they do not meet expectations. There have also been times they didn't show up when expected and never received a text or call. Overall a huge disappointment.

First I am impressed that Janet and crew were willing to come so far out- we live in Hunterdon and it is a long trip. We had scheduled an 830am arrival which was unfortunately delayed due to traffic accident on I-78, were promptly informed about the problem and estimated new arrival time. It was great that they immediately discussed what special requests or expectations we had and then got to work. They were great with our dogs, and worked extremely hard all day- we are not even sure they stopped for lunch. The results were absolutely great. The original estimate for the whole house first time clean was not accurate- our house is deceiving large and deceivingly dusty and they underestimated the time to do the first cleaning. I really appreciated that they were able to change around their schedule to finish our house completely (It took 7+hours but it is really perfect). In the end we paid more then we originally thought but it was really required and worth the added time.
Description of Work: We were looking for biweekly housecleaning but did not previously have such a service so our first visit needed to be a total top to bottom housecleaning to get the house in shape for biweekly cleaning schedule.

As price Unfortunately I could not help you more than I did and I will recall a little to our phone conversation how it started, you have said you bought a condo and needed to be clean immediately to be available for rent. You asked the price I told you the average would be $80.00 to $ 100.00 according in what you have said. But when I got to your condo, i thought it was impossible to get it cleaned i called you I explained it to you and you agreed to pay the $200.00 which was not enough to cover the time and the hard work but I was happy to see that you had almost a new kitchen and bathrooms plus the dinning, family room floors which you could not even see from the construction dust.. I try to help the best I could but at the end I saw you wanted even more so I had to tell you I could not due anymore for the amount your paying.You asked names of chemical to work with in case you needed,I gave to you. They did a great job; Janet told me upfront before they started how much it would cost. They took about 2-2.5 hours, which is fine. At the end she walked me through the condo to make sure everything was OK. Just a note: be sure to have plenty of paper towels --they go through 'em!
Description of Work: Janet and another employee cleaned our condo (approximately 1200sf), including carpets, hardwood floors, granite countertops, 2 baths, etc. The did a great job on the floors (were sparkling) and bathrooms, especially. They changed the bed linens, which is something that not all housecleaners will do.
