Janet Cleaning Service

Due to being in Europe, we had a little trouble scheduling the appointment and arranging access to the apartment. This was all done via email and voice mail. However, the apartment sparkled when I retuned. She used good judgement and did superb cleaning. My neighbors and the super were really impressed and so was I.

Janet's Cleaning Service did a fantastic job. She stayed late until 6 o'clock to finish the job and she worked very hard.

Outstanding performance and great consideration of my needs to have work done at very short notice prior to holidays.

She's good and everybody uses her. I'm, not here year round. It is a family owned company and they are very dedicated to their customers. They are very, very nice and hardworking people. They clean your house right. They don't wipe your house; they clean it. They get on their hands and knees to scrub the floors. They are amazing. I pay a little extra than I?ve paid in the past but they have to travel so I don?t mind paying for the gas. They always return phone calls. Sometimes they may be a little late because they get caught in the traffic and that doesn?t bother me because I am retired. They are very professional.

Janet and two other women arrived at our house at the agreed upon time. They spent a total of five hours at the house. As they were wrapping up, I did a quick walk through of my house and was disappointed with what I saw. While some parts of the house looked good, there were a number of areas that were just not acceptable: Kitchen, 50% of the tile backsplash had not been cleaned Many of the cabinet drawers still had dust in them Walls were not dusted Entertainment Room Couch was not vacuumed under Master Bathroom Shower door handle had somehow been detached from door and thrown aside Shower stall glass looked as if it weren't cleaned Toilet looked as if it weren't cleaned Bidet looked as if it weren't cleaned Hallway Bathroom Tub spout had been broken off and not reattached Living Room Furniture moved but not put back When I started to point out the above issues, Janet said that she needed more time in the house, but that would cost significantly more. She then said that the cleaning she had already completed would cost $400, well over the initial estimate. I explained to her that I would not pay $400 because it was way over the estimate, and that the quality of work was disappointing. I told her that the most I'd pay was $300, and even at that price, I was disappointed and we parted ways. I'm disappointed that it didn't work out, especially given the rave reviews she gets here. I appreciated her responsiveness, but I would not call on Janet's team again.

Janet had 2 workers come with her to our new home, they were ~45 minutes late, but provided phone call updates to let us know. Once there, she asked questions about our needs and gave us an overview of their service (i.e. - pointed out detailed cleaning spots that we may have otherwise not noticed). Janet left and the 2 girls worked extremely hard for the entire day, were polite, quiet, and friendly. May have been due to the size of the house, but they didn't quite cover every room / detail spot we had expected, though their work ethic met/exceeded our expectations. Took several above and beyond steps for quality of cleaning, such as climbing up a ladder on our second floor to disassemble our chandelier piece by piece and clean dust buildup. Plan to use Janet's cleaning service for more routine cleaning every month or so, would recommend to others.

Janet's cleaning service did not only perform a phenomenal job, they came to the rescue of some friends helping a friend in need. Our dear friend lost her husband to cancer after a valiant six month battle. She wanted to have family and friends at her house between wakes but her house had been neglected while she was caring for her husband. I called Janet's cleaning service on a Wednesday for a Friday service and Eugenia didn't even hestitate in responding to my last minute request. Unfortunately, a few of her staff assigned to this project got lost and delayed but came in and completely transformed this house in just over an hour. Eugenia didn't even worry about being paid on the spot. She just picked her cleaning equipment up and they all ran out the door. The house looked immaculate and smelled like a rose. We couldn't have been more pleased. Not only do they provide top notch cleaning service, but she operates her company like everyone of her clients is family. It's rare to have that kind of service in this day and age. Thank you Eugenia and staff for your kindness to a complete stranger.

Janet and her staff are EXCELLENT. She walked me through the house before she started the work and told me what she thought needed to be done. I agreed to the price and they started work immediately. They were very thorough and when they were finished the house was spotless and smelled so clean. Although I originally hired Janet to help me keep up with the housework because I am recovering from surgery, I will continue using her services even after I recover. I would highly recommend her services.

A week later, after I approved the initial cleaning services, her crew came to perform the work. I have to say... my house has NEVER been so clean and spotless, her girls did an AMAZING job!! I immediately wanted to have a party and have all my friends and family over to show off!!! The girls were also very friendly to my dog and that meant a lot. A wonderful experience! I am extremely pleased and will definitely continue to use her services.

WOW! We could clean for 40-hours and never have gotten our house this clean! Janet's staff is dependable, thorough, and very professional. Two of Janet's staff completely cleaned three floors of post-construction mess without having Janet on site. Our house smelled clean and fresh, and sparkled after their first visit. We really appreciate all their hard work and highly recommend this exceptional service.

OMG what an excellent job. I was looking to replace my existing house cleaning service becasue they were not doing such a great job. First Janet came to my home and asked me how I preferred everything, where did I want her to put things, etc. Then today was the first cleaning. My house was never cleaner. She really does pay attention to the details, just like all the other reports say. If you are a picky clean person, Janet is the person for you. Every corner was clean. The oven, the fridge, behind the water cooler, I couldnt find a dirty corner. All my shoes were neatly lined up in the closet, it was just neat and clean from top to bottom. Her team was also very professional and nice.

Overall the job went great. The girls were a little late but Janet did call and text me so it was not inconvenient for me. It was a long day for the cleaning crew of 4/5 women. I never felt that they took shortcuts. Our home was left spotless.

The first visit which was more costly entailed a thorough cleaning of my home. They were meticulous and detailed and the results were outstanding. They now come every other week to maintain the same level of cleanliness. Janet calls 24 hours before each visit to confirm the next cleaning appointment. She also called me after the first few visits to make sure I was satisfied with the quality of the cleaning. She is very aware of maintaining customer satisfaction and encourages me to communicate my likes and dislikes of the job done.

Owner came and gave estimate. Two girls do the work; owner came first time and will come again occasionally. One of the girls comes every time; second one varies. Primary girl understands/speaks English very well. Owner gives customer her cell phone number, calls if girls will be late, calls to ask if everything is OK. Always call back if message is left on voice mail. Is very responsive to criticism (very little to criticize; always can find something if you look hard enough - after all, no one cleans perfectly but these girls are better than most I've used).

I hired Janet's company to do an entire detailed housecleaning as well as organizing. I told her that her team could do whatever they thought was best, because my existing organizing sytem wasn't working. Her team was incredible - they required very little direction or supervision. Most of the time I wasn't even home. They worked tirelessly and without stopping until the whole house was perfectly in order and clean. They even cleaned the tops of cabinets and window sills. It was the best gift I've ever given to myself. I highly recommend Janet, she is the consummate professional. I would absolutely hire her again. I plan to have her do a monthly detailed cleaning and then a heavy Spring and Fall cleaning.

Janet and her colleague did an excellent job -- doing what we asked superbly, and actually going much beyond that. Since we had expressed preferences on what they should and should not focus on, they were very careful to double-check before proceeding with cleaning specific areas -- there was very good communication and responsiveness to what we wanted. We greatly appreciated the true pride they took in doing their work, and it really shows in the results. They pay wonderful attention to detail, and do a truly 'deep' cleaning -- not just paying superficial attention. The price was fair given the size of the house, with two people working at a hard pace for four straight hours. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Janet came in and performed an evaluation of the work to be done. She looked over the house and then gave me a thorough explanation of what was to be done. We agreed on a price and her crew arrived and performed an unbelievable job cleaning all the areas that had not been done by my prior house cleaner. I know that in the next few weeks, I wont recognize my house for I am certain that Janet and her staff will continue to do a great job. I am thankful that I found Janet, and you will be too.

Janet is pleasant, personable, and very energetic. She is eager to please and very open to special requests in terms of the work and scheduling. I am very comfortable with her working in my home. Janet receives my highest recommendation for her services.

Janet and her team were great. We contacted them and they were able to come in about a week later. They arrived early. Their work was thorough, more than most cleaning services we had contracted in the past. They paid attention to details, such as door-frames, ceiling fans, window sills. They also did a good job cleaning the inside of the refrigerator and moved furniture to get hard to reach dust. It is hard to find services that pay close attention to details and Janet's team definitely did. They are true professionals and we would recommend them.

I had had to reschedule and Janet was very flexible about that. The team arrived promptly in the morning and were still there at 5 that evening. When I returned, the place sparkled. The kitchen cabinets...well, let's just say I thought they were uncleanable under the grease, and now they're almost like new. And all the mullions in the very numerous old windows - not a speck of dirt.

It is a real pleasure for them to clean my house and I trust them with valuables.

I initially called Janet a while back, but the start of service was delayed as Janet was called away on an emergency. That worked out for me due to some household changes on my part, and I'm very glad I waited because the service is excellent. Janet is very professional and organized, and she and her assistants did an excellent job. They really know their business. Everything in the house was cleaned, even books taken out and dusted, and bathroom floors scrubbed with a scrub brush. My house has never looked so clean. Janet referred to it as a spring cleaning.In addition, Janet is very pleasant as are her assistants. I will be glad to continue with Janet in the future.

They gave me a discount because they had a recent cancellation. They were here cleaning for 5 hours and they did fabulous.

I contacted Janet's Cleaning Service on 2 separate occasions. First contact, the proprietor had to go out of town and promised to contact me on 6/5/10. She did not contact me. I called her and 2 days later she contacted me to set up an appointment for an estimate. She explained her circumstances and I understood and agreed to set up an appointment for an esitimate. Approximately 1 hour before the scheduled appointment the proprietor called and cancelled. I find this to be very unprofessional.
