Janet's team did an Excellent Job! I didn't recognize the place. The appliances and fans looked new. Our apartment needed a good cleaning, Janet came over gave me a fair price and explained how and what would happen and three very nice lady’s did exactly what we agreed on. It doesn’t get better than that. Janet’s Team will be coming regularly from now on.

Janet's was very responsive to set up a mutually agreeable date with my daughter HOWEVER when her cleaning crew arrived they did not have Eco friendly products with them as agreed! Because my daughter was anxious to get the job completed she gave them her own cleaning products to use. No reduction of the original price was given even though Janet's expended only labor and no product of their own. They even used my daughters rolls of paper towels. They were asked to return after completion for one minor detail and they promptly did.This company would be used again because of responsiveness,price,and performance but not bringing the proper products should not be acceptable.

This is an exceptional cleaning service. She was prompt, thorough and professional, and her team went above and beyond. We are delighted with the services rendered and will not hesitate to recommend her.

Janet came to give me an estimate herself. She took a detailed look at what might be needed and made notes. Two cleaning ladies came on time the same day and took about 5 hrs to clean the house in detail. I was very happy with the final result. The house shined after they left. I then used their service for a follow-up cleaning as well. I must say I was a little more happy with my first experience. However I am satisfied with the overall experience and trust that I can keep using their services to keep my house clean. One thing that is commendable is Janet's coordination with her team. She is in touch with them via text message during the whole time they are working.

Were punctual, very nice demeanor....three women were at my home to clean. My home recently underwent major construction. They spent a little over 8 hours and did a terrific job. I will now use them weekly.

My husband and I are putting our house on the market and decided we wanted to have a cleaning service come in and spruce up the house. I called a few companies on Angie's list and received a few estimates. When Janet came to our home to provide an estimate, she was very professional and even took of her sneakers! She was at our home for approximately 45 minutes and checked everything in the house. We decided that she would provide an estimate for a "top to bottom" cleaning which includes cleaning all 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen (all appliances as well), living room/dining room and laundry room. The next day, Janet sent me an estimate via email, as well as, an estimate for weekly cleaning. We decided to move forward with Janet and the service was completed the following week. On to the service. WOW! That is what I can say about the "deep cleaning" done at our house! First, the two young ladies arrived on time... actually 15 minutes early. Given that we were preparing our daughter to go to school, they were EXTREMELY flexible on cleaning certain rooms first without any problems or complaints. They were originally supposed to be here 3.5 - 4 hours, however, were here 6 hours and did not ask for anything extra (We did, however, give the two young ladies a nice tip). The house looks IMMACULATE and SPOTLESS. When I returned home from work, I was extremely please with the final product. The cleaned EVERYTHING... doors, knobs, moldings, lampshades, ceiling fans... the list goes on and on! I would DEFINITELY use Janet's Cleaning Service again... most likely on a bi-weekly basis. THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL JOB!

I Contacted Janet Cleaning on Wednesday 4/25/12 and I received a call back that evening to schedule an appoointment for coming to do an estimate on cleaning the kitchen which was supposed to be on Friday 4/29/12. On the morning of Friday 4/29, I receive a text to say her daughter was sick that morning and she could not make it; but for me to let her know another day that would be best. I sent a text back to let her know that the next morning Sat would be fine, same time. Never heard from her since. Very dissapointing that I was never contacted back and waited around on Sat morning when I could have chosen someone else to do the job.

We were very impressed that Janet came to the house herself to review and give us an estimate. She didn't simply ask how many rooms/baths, etc but actually walked the entire home (condo) and pointed things out along the way. She consulted with us as to the level of work we would like and clearly explained why the first session would be more costly. We could have scaled down our request but decided to do it all since it had been a while since we'd had in professional cleaners. Plus the last couple of 'teams', while less money, did not do a very good job. Janet also told us that more regular visits would be substantially less. The team she sent on the day was terrific -- arrived perfectly on time, worked steadily and efficiently, were friendly and polite and best of all did a terrific job. They weren't put off when my sister's dog (they were visiting for the holidays) gave an effusive greeting. The only negative comment we have at all is that sometimes it takes a while for Janet to get back to us -- although she always does. We were very satisfied and plan to set up a regular schedule going forward.

Janet and her crew (family members) were amazing!! We had met the week before to go over everything I wanted her to do with regards to cleaning my home. Janet took notes and made helpful suggestions along the way. I have an indoor cat and a dog, and I made it clear that the cat was not to go outdoors, so to watch any open doorways. Upon leaving, Janet said she would get back to me with an estimate that would be a little higher than a regular monthly cleaning because this would be more of a deep cleaning. She called me that afternoon with an estimate, which I felt was fair. She also said she could fit me in the very next week which is what I wanted. I left for work before Janet and her crew came to clean. After meeting her and reading other reviews, I felt very comfortable having her and her helpers in my house during my absence. I don't know how long it took them to clean, but when I returned, I was so pleased! Everything was clean and sparkling. She had brought back to life all my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. The floors were shining as were all of the bathrooms and furniture. I could not be more pleased with the work that was done!!!! I look forward to having her and her wonderful team come to clean my house on a monthly basis which is all I need. I can highly recommend Janet's Cleaning Service!

2 cleaning ladies showed up on time as expected, they cleaned thoroughly the Kitchen, Living Room, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom and staircase in front entryway and rear entryway. They were there approx. 4 hours and we were very pleased with their cleaning and highly recommend their services and would hire them to come back again!!

We started service with her about a month ago. I pay $130 a visit. Her service is fine. She was very reasonably priced and came in and did a good job.

Janet and her crew are fantastic. They are on time, very very professional and priced reasonably. I am very picky and have been very happy with their services.

First time I met Janet she came to my apartment and gave me an free estimate, asking particular questions and explaining the way the service works. I opted for a deep clean first (which is more expensive than the monthly service I have now) with biweekly maintenance cleanings after that. They did a great job with most of the deep clean, but I had to point out a few areas which were important to me which were missed. They fixed those and were very nice about it. Then I had the service biweekly. Now every four weeks. See above for more.

The place was very hard to clean. My daughter had been going through a problem marriage and was in the midst of getting a divorce. Pretty much no cleaning had been done for awhile. Also an elderly cat was creating all kinds of cleaning problems. Janet and crew worked for days literally and did a great job (pulled out the frig, etc.). And Janet was so compassionate towards my daughter. That is something no money can buy. We hope to be using them again.

They are very thorough and they do a deep cleaning.

Janet came to my home and did a walkthrough where she pointed out all the items my current every other week cleaner missed, cobwebs at top of door frames, etc... Then we went through the same process at my elderly mother's house. Throughout this process Janet took what appeared to be copious notes. She was personable and shared with me personal details about her life. I didn't mind that, and was optimistic given all her note-taking and her comments about how the cleaning should be done. Her price was high for the initial cleaning, $500 for both houses. I normally pay $190. I was expecting to pay 50% more for first cleaning but she was charging me more than double. But, given what she said would be done - a "deep" cleaning I agreed and was excited about it. After work on cleaning day I went straight to my mother's to check it out. I was a bit shocked at what I found. Several things we had discussed were not done. For example the inside of the refrigerator was not thoroughly cleaned, the couch cover was not laundered, and ironically the top of the shower curtain rod (which I would never have checked except that Janet herself pointed this out as evidence of prior poor cleaning) was still filthy. The oven was not cleaned, and the cabinets by the stove were still sticky. These were things that I was paying the steep price for. I called Janet and she was still at my house cleaning! So, I gave her the list of things that were not done and she was both apologetic and defensive. She blamed her staff - but wasn't she there supervising? Ok, so as I pulled up to my house there were two women who appeared to be cleaning the outside of my front door - which was wide open. Why leave the door open when cleaning it? (When I looked at the door later it was still dirty so I think they were just keeping an eye out for me). Now I have moths. I thought "what is going on"? After I made sure both my cats were still in the house I went into the garage. Part of the higher price was breaking down boxes for recycling. I made it clear this didn't have to be done now, it could wait for a second visit but Janet insisted. After I began explaining to her the requirements for cutting and tying for my town's recycling program she stopped me and said "I will put them in my car and take them with me". Now, as I opened the garage door these boxes were stuffed into big plastic bags along with styrofoam and plastic so I was not going to be able to recycle them w/out emptying the bags and cutting up the boxes. Janet did not recall our discussion about taking the boxes with her. They also for some odd reason tore up my the nice Mac Book pro box w/ handle that I was still using. This was in my living room, not in my garage so I don't know why they did that. Worse, they didn't seem to notice that the box was not garbage and that it contained software and hardware! Luckily I was able to find and save that stuff. After they left I did a tour and as with my Mother's house things that Janet herself had pointed out as dirty were not cleaned!! The cobwebs at the top of the door frame were still there for example. The windows which Janet said would be extra to clean were not cleaned. i was really baffled and very disappointed. The Microwave door was covered with a film as if the wrong cleaning product were used and the refrigerator was not cleaned thoroughly. As it happens my aunt was at my mother's house when Janet's team was cleaning. I learned this when I began to tell my Aunt about my experience with Janet. She said she had not wanted to say anything, but now that I had given her my opinion she felt she could tell me. Anyway, she said "Karen, they did not look like they knew what they were doing!! They cleaned the kitchen first? Who does that? You clean the kitchen last. And when we went into the kitchen we could not tell that it had just been cleaned!" She was clearly not impressed. Given all the positive reviews the only thing I can think is that Janet herself is not an effective organized cleaner and that on this day she also had some new untrained workers. I called Janet and said I wanted to re-negotiate the price given all that was not done as per our original agreement. She offered to come back and do the work, which was nice but I did not trust that the work would be of good quality. Janet began yelling at me accusing me of wanting a "free" cleaning. I offered again to pay her $200 (which is $30 more that what I currently pay for a normal cleaning) and she said she didn't want my money. She was very insulted and said some very unpleasant things to me. She said she would mail me back my keys and the check I had already given her for $500. The next day she called and left me an angry message saying she had contacted her lawyer and he advised her to cash the check I had given her. She said "we deserve to be paid.. you can stop payment on it if you don't want to pay". Which I did. Needless to say I don't recommend her services. And, I never did get my keys.

The quality of Janet's service has continued to remain high beyond the initial cleaning service. Her staff are fantastic. Especially this week, they had no problem cleaning despite the fact that we had no electricity and the house was somewhat cold. Her staff navigated the tricky roads in our neighborhood with multiple trees and power lines down. Our generator has not been working but thankfully my husband was able to get it to work for a few minutes so the staff could vacuum. Everyone is hard working and does their best. Every visit, the house looks amazing! The do a particularly great job on wood floors.

I found Janet's Cleaning Service through Angie's List where I was very impressed by the description of her work. I called her up and when I spoke to her I described what I needed. She was very informative and helpful in describing her services, and we set up an appointment for her to come over and give me an estimate. She came over and we walked through the house, while she made notes on what needed to be done, and what areas were in need of more detailed work. She was very thorough and professional. I had never used any cleaning service, and she made me feel very comfortable. We discussed what she could do, and she was very honest. The next day she called me to give me the estimate, and from there we set up a date for her to come. She explained that she would send several people over first thing, after giving them directions on what they should do. She would then come by a little bit later. On the day of service, she called to tell me her people were on the way. I opened the door to four women who came right in and got to work. Janet had prepped them and they were very professional. About an hour or so later, Janet came and both supervised and worked with the woman. I was so impressed by their work. They knew what order to tackle each job, and they got to work efficiently. One person started working on the blinds and windows, while another person started to work on the kitchen. I kept looking at what they were doing and was pleased. It was very organized, thorough and efficient. Janet and her staff did an amazing job. They left my house looking like new. Everything in the house was clean, and shining, and it felt great to have everything so spic and span. Janet is a good communicator, and keeps you posted on progress and what one can expect. I felt she exceeded all my expectations, and I would highly recommend her. I intend to use her service for biweekly cleaning. Janet is professional, experienced, honest and very good at her job.

I found Janet's cleaning service on Angie's List and called to get a one-time cleaning prior to having house guests for the week-end. First of all, she returned all my phone calls promptly, was very friendly and very professional. She arrived promptly as planned and got to work along with an assistant. They both worked steadily and energetically for almost 4 hours and got the place in shipshape! Janet paused every once in awhile to bring things to my attention and explain how she thought a task should be done and get my feedback. She is very knowledgeable and articulate and worked well with me to plan what should be done and how. I also appreciated that she was sociable and considerate of family members who were present while she was working. The fee Janet asked for this herculean cleaning effort was way more than fair and I added a significant amount (not reflected in the above price) to express my appreciation for the over-the-top effort. Although I have a regular housekeeper, I plan to bring call Janet again for seasonal deep cleaning as needed and whenever I need a replacement. Her service is outstanding and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a superb housecleaner!

Janet and her staff were AMAZING!!!!!!! They cleaned every surface in my house. They stayed for EIGHT hours and worked nonstop!!! They made my house look sparkling clean and now I cannot wait to use Janet and her staff on a regular basis. I highly recommend Janet and her team!!!!!

To be honest, it's a shame that I have to give a poor rating. I found Janet (I believe that is her name although I see the contact name is different here) to be very responsive in making an appointment to come into my home and give me an estimate. She spent a great deal of time going through each room and pain-stakingly took notes and my contact information. I thought her service had great potential as our weekly housekeepers. She told me she would put together a quote and I never heard back from her. It's been over a week and I've hired someone else in the mean time.

They did a fantastic job cleaning our home - I never thought the house could look as good as it did when they left. Their attention to detail was fantastic. Specifically, our wood floors are old and not easy to clean but they made them look wonderful. We have cats who are easily frightened by new people. I was surprised to see the cats were behaving entirely normal during and after the cleaning. Beyond the great job performed, Janet is a considerate and compassionate person which makes working with her easy. I am looking forward to having Janet's team clean our home every other week.

The three ladies arrived around 4:30 and left at 10:00 and did a great job deep cleaning and I'll be using them every two weeks from now on.
