Description of Work: They fixed some roofing problems as well as replace some siding. I found them to be very reliable and courteous. I can't speak to the pricing as they are contracted by our maintenance office. I live in a condo development.

Description of Work: They put on a very nice roof. However, within a few weeks there was a leak in our family room. They came twice to check out the leak and said everything was fine and that I should wait until the next time it rained to call them to look into it. I countered that they should go on the roof with a hose to see where it was leaking. Not until I got my credit card company to rescind their payment did they come out and do as I suggested. Less than a minute after spraying water on the roof, the leak was revealed. A couple of years later when I had a leak, I called them. They came out and did nothing. I had to hire another roofing company to fix that leak.

Description of Work: We used them a long time (probably more than 10 years) ago and I doubt it is fair for me to rate them. I think they were trying out a new crew and they were not happy with them. They were hired to remove the old roof, including sheathing, and replace it. They did not put step flashing along one side of our dormer (which I recently noticed and corrected when working on the dormer siding) and it leaked badly. They "fixed" it by putting a large amount of silicon on it and it still leaked occasionally. They did not replace the sheathing all the way up to the dormer, which I can understand as it would have been very difficult (and that may even be standard practice in those cases), but they should have mentioned it and perhaps negotiated a higher price to deal with unanticipated expenses of tying the new roof to the old siding. Not telling us was a mistake. My understanding is they are a quality outfit and our experience is not the norm for them.

Description of Work: I used Clark builders in late 2006/early 2007 to perform roof repairs when I noticed leaking after repeated rainstorms. I paid them approximately $1100 and they replaced approximately 30 square feet of roofing. It did not fix the problem. When I called, after the entire roof section was correctly fixed by a reputable contractor (Deegan Roofing) for $1400, I was told that their work was 'fine' and was sent a check for $200 (but was told "it was taking food from his children's mouths"). I never cashed the d*** check!

After 4 - 5 visits and over 2500.00 my ceiling still leaked. |Called Clark Roofing spoke with Dennis. Came out did an inspection, gave me 3 options They came out did the repairs and here it is raining and for the first time in a year no rain coming in problem resolved. |I found Dennis, their receptionist and the two roofers who came to perform the repairs to be extremely professional. From the beginning they assured me whatever the problem they guaranteed a solution and they delivered. |

Description of Work: We used Clark Builders twice. The first time we had minor roof leaks. Nobody would take the job until Clark Builders because it wasn't a big job. The last time we used them was after Sandy. We lost about 80 square feet of roof shingles. They came immediately to put a tarp down so no extra damage and came back a day or s o later to fully repair. They did a great job and had loyalty to their past customers. I am calling them first when my roof needs replacing as it's almost 15 years old.

Description of Work: This is the first time I have used someone from Angie's List for work on my house. I would highly recommend Clark Builders. My roof was leaking and I asked for an estimate and an understanding of what they found. I received a call from Dennis who spent about 15-20 minutes with me on the phone explaining the good and the bad. I really appreciated that part of it the most. Professional, Great Communication and Solid Work. A+

Description of Work: Repaired a section of our roof that was rotted out underneath and replaced the shingles there as well. Also removed our TV antenna (yes I still had a TV antenna on my chimney) and a few other small repair's. We asked them to give us a quote on a whole new roof and the owner was honest enough to say we didn't need a new roof and that we had 6 maybe 7 years left. He did point out some areas that needed to be repaired which we were aware of.

Description of Work: We had water leaks in the garage and they located the leak around the flashing by the chimney and then re-caulked the chimney and all pipes on the roof. No more water in the garage after that. We used their services in 2002 and at the time I thought the price was a bit high but I didn't get other estimates at that time. I keep an excel spread sheet with records and dates of home improvements otherwise would not have recalled the job.

Description of Work: THEY DID AN INSPECTION OF THE ROOF, AND FOUND SOME GAPS AROUND THE FLASHING'S, AND THEN REPAIRED THE PROBLEM.
