Your Duct Guy - Professional Cleaners

The cleaning went great. I received a call about 15 minutes before the crew arrived. They were on time and very friendly. We reviewed the scope of work before they entered the house. Before entering they put on boot covers. I was very happy with this since most contractors just bring in leaves and dirt and track it all through the house. The crew finished cleaning both dryers in about 1.5 hours. One of the vents exhausted through the roof so they had to get their ladders out. Great experience. I would definitely hire again and have recommended their services to neighbors.

After a small scheduling delay, the service went well. On time and the price was right (an Angie's List special). I was not present at the cleaning, but my girlfriend reported back that they worked diligently and showed her the before and after pictures. The dryer in particular was a mess. I installed a new air filter the same day and the house has never felt cleaner (two cats plus tons of construction dust/debris in the surrounding area can make the dust pile up fast).

On time (1), clean - wore shoe covers, cleaned up all debris inside/out (2), and did a thorough complete job while explaining everything they were doing and looking for while completing the task at hand(3). What else can you ask for? End of result: 5 loads of laundry this weekend in 1/2 the time with the clean dryer/venting. Awesome job guys!!! Keep up the great work! Bill

Not quite up to the standards I expect from a deal on Angie's List. Communication was not good at all. Two scheduled appointments were missed, and though I was contacted about the first one, I had to call twice regarding the second. They never contacted me after the deal was purchased, either, even though the questions re scheduling were answered by me. After waiting over two weeks, when I called them, the music in the background at the business was so loud, I couldn't hear or understand what he was saying. When they finally did arrive to do the job, they were nice enough, finished the job in about 15 minutes, said they were through and left. I asked about the job, but they were not that communicative and said that it was done. I am assuming the job was done in a satisfactory manner, though, I won't know unless there is a problem in the near future.

Work was done very professionally. Crew arrived on time, wore shoe coverings to protect carpet, and were very careful to clean up after the job. They also went into the attic to ensure that the exhaust pipe was completely clean at the roof exit, which I thought was extremely thorough. Overall they did a great job, and I would highly recommend them.

I could not have been more pleased with the process, the results, and the price. I wanted to get the air ducts cleaned before moving into this 1300 sq ft house I just purchased. The price was set at $375 for the whole house air duct cleaning with sanitation. The Duct Guys came right on time and got to work. Their process is based on using brushes to reach through the ducts while vacuuming out the debris. They worked efficiently and made sure (with before and after photos) that the ductwork was clean. They took great pride in their work. When they got to the furnace filter and motor area, we noticed this was quite dirty. They quickly offered to clean this as well for only another $125. They completely disassembled the motor and fan and cleaned the unit with brushes, vacuum, and cleaning solutions. It went back together properly and the system was tested. Each vent was cleaned beautifully. They offered to clean the dryer vent and did so. They replaced the dryer vent hose at no extra cost. While at it they cleaned the dryer itself inside and out. I will certainly hire them again.

These guys were fabulous! We had another company here earlier and they couldn't do it so I was worried. I called them and explained the situation. They answered all my questions, assured me that they thought they could handle it and gave me prices that were dependent on what they thought they would need to do. They gave me a time they would be here and then called me 1/2 hour before they got here. They were able to clean the vent, replace the broken bird guard and then they cleaned every place they worked. When they were done their work spaces both inside and out were cleaner than when they started. The price they quoted was what they charged and it wan't the highest price they could have charged. I highly recommend them This was my first time using Angie's List. I will be back.

The vent itself was cleaned thoroughly however, there was still a decent amount of lint left outside around the window where the lint comes out. I was also asked to replace the liner before the service started because it wasn't vented properly however, they weren't willing to put my cleaning payment towards the cost of a new liner. Overall, it was fine and I feel more comfortable using my dryer again however, it would have been better to get the replacement up front and be credited for the cleaning amount I paid.

Two guys came in time with 6 gal sized vacuum and a tiny 25 ft electronic snake brush. I doubted if these tools can "deep clean" a 4000s sq ft home with 4 HVAC units, which is not what I expected at all. Because my basement was fully finished, there is no way to open the duct except a small area close to each furnace, and a small home used vacuum couldn't finish the work obviously. I told them I want to cancel and is willing to pay them for their field trip, but they refused. They understood what I want but told me that will cost $550 per unit, but the sales person didn't explain the difference when I placed the order. It took them less than 4 hrs to finish their "PROFESSIONAL" clean. They even didn't wash each vent/return cover but just use a brush! They said it was homeowner's responsibility to clean the covers by water! Some return covers were even installed in wrong directions! Never ever want to use this cheating company! They are not doing business but robbing money. $1200 for 2 person's 4 hr vacuum job. If you want to do deep cleaning of your duct, stay away from this company.

Most of the work could not be done because the filters were clogged and the unit coils froze. We paid an additional $300 for cleaning and other work, but the AC is still broken. We've spent $340, still have a malfunctioning unit, but they will come back if we pay more money.

We were notified that we should contact Angie's List for a refund and that all appointments for June were cancelled. They suggested we try another place with an offer. Their reason was that their AC was broken in their company vehicle.

I rescheduled for an evening visit (5-7 pm) and sat again with no contact and nobody showing up. ? 4 hours of my life wasted and time off work. ? Totally unsatisfactory. ? I want a refund.

They were professional and on time. However, at the conclusion the recommendation was "your system is very old" and "you should buy a new AC unit and all new ducts." While this may be accurate, I felt they were really trying to sell. This was not entirely unexpected, but I did want a more detailed (20 point!) inspection report than my system is old.
