Description of Work: We had "Your Duct Guy" come out to clean our dryer duct. I had accidentally damaged the pipe to our attic a month or so before. When they looked at the damage, the said they could fix it or replace it. The replacement cost was very reasonable, so we had it replaced. They gave me a coupon for a second dryer vent cleaning for 1 year from the replacement. | |We are very happy with the service and will use them again.

I purchased the deal through Angie's list but when the guy came we realized that I have way more vents and returns than the deal allowed. So we he called the company and recaulcuated what it would cost. We rescheduled the appointment. They were very late but appologized and did an excellent job. Left everthing clean. Were very pleasant to deal with.

Description of Work: They came promptly and handled the duct cleaning in a professional manner. They were quiet and clean while the were working; I didnt know they were even there!

Description of Work: They cleaned a vertical dryer vent that was one-story high (vent exits on a flat roof above the floor where the gas dryer is located). I had had a lot of trouble finding someone who would clean this vent--dryer repair guys would say "oh, we don't do that." But we were getting a new dryer on March 28 so the vent had to be cleaned. Originally the vent cleaning appt was for March 16, but Your Duct Guy called on March 13 to let me know that their office had been decimated by a fire in the building. So they were scrambling to recover and had to postpone the appt. They had to postpone it more than once (this is the only reason for the "B" in punctuality)--but what really impressed me was that they were so communicative and that they persisted, ultimately coming the day before the dryer arrived and doing a beautiful job. They also replaced the exit end of the vent with a much better vent cap, for a very reasonable amount of money, and improved the quality of the tape around the joints on the vent and the flexible piece of venting connecting the dryer to the fixed vent shaft. I would definitely use them again, and plan to, when the vent is due for another cleaning.

Description of Work: I called them because my air conditioner stopped working. They told me I needed a new air conditioner but to do the job right, I need to replace the furnace as well. They gave me an estimate of $5088.00. I was sick of screwing around with the old air conditioner and the price seemed reasonable. They said I would get a 5 year warranty and a lifetime filter. | |A company called Turtle Tech came in to do the install. Those guys were awesome (see my Turtle Tech review). They removed the old central air unit and heater, and replaced them with new ones and I think it took them around 6 hours. When I got the papers for the new heater, I discovered that there was no 5 year warranty. The Duct Guys said talk to Turtle Tech. Turtle Tech said there was a parts-only warranty from the manufacturer. I asked for the lifetime filter, but that never came. I later discovered that Turtle Tech was Installing those units for around $4000.00 so I felt a little ripped off. But I really don't care about the warranty, the filter, or the extra $1k because everything works and I know I could have been charged even more. The Duct Guys do ducts, not heaters so they may not have known about the warranty, or even the price. I can't even remember how or why I called them. But I love my new air conditioner/heater.
