We bought the house 10 months ago and had no clue when the duct was last cleaned. Sure enough, it was full of lent. The employee did a great job and was very professional and friendly. We've recommend this company to friends and we'll be using them again.

The technician was terrific. Showed us what he was doing step by step.. Took great pride in his work.. Had difficult in finding outside vent due to the many ducts in basement.. Was diligent until he got it right.. Was very polite and careful..

The technician from Your Duct Guy arrived at precisely 3 PM, which was the time set for the appointment. He went about the task of cleaning the air duct in a very business-like and professional way. After cleaning the duct he commented to me that the flexible part of the duct work, the part coming out of the dryer, was kinked in such a way as to diminish the efficiency of the dryer. I realized that was not a part of the deal to clean the duct and asked if he could fix it. I also asked what the charge would be. He indicated that he could repair it and gave me what I thought was a very fair price. Not only did he accomplish the job in an excellent manner, he also cleaned up the area cleaner than it was when he arrived. I highly reccommend Your Duct Guy to anyone needing to have the exhaust duct on a clothes dryer cleaned.

I used them through a big deal on Angie's List. It went fine. The actual service took about three minutes. It was quick. The issue is my dryer has been taking too long to dry, so I thought it might have been the vent. This deal popped in, and I thought that I would have the vent cleaned inexpensively and hopefully that would fix the dryer. It wasn’t the problem with the dryer, which isn’t his fault and has nothing to do with their service. The cleaning of the vent actually turned out to be a pretty small job. The guy showed up. He said that he would be there between 8 and 9. He actually called at 8:30 to say that he was stuck in a lot of traffic and that he would still be there before 9, and he was. So I took that as a positive. He came on schedule. When he was running late in that part of the pre-arranged schedule, he still called. So that was a good thing. With regard to price, I have no basis of comparison whatsoever.

I purchased a big deal to get my dryer vent cleaned. I recently had some work done at my home and I had to have the dryer moved. The people who moved the dryer found that the duct was filled with dust etc. I brought a big deal from the duct guy. He contacted me the same day and set up a date and time for him to clean my duct. He set up a time within a week between 10 and 12 (which worded well for me). I was very impressed that he called me on the date of service to let me know that he would be closer to 12. He arrived right when he said he would and wore protective gear to keep both himself as well as my home clean and safe. He did a great job cleaning the duct. Then he looked at some of my other ducts to show me what else could be done. He was very professional and not at all pushy. I appreciated his advice. I am very pleased with the whole process with him and I would strongly recommend him.

Recently bought a house and our inspector told me that we needed to have our furnace and ducts clean. The inspector strongly suggested this after inspecting the condition of our ducts and furnace. Originally bought a Groupon for a duct cleaning. When arrived - I needed more than the duct cleaning. The furnace looks as though it had never been cleaned and there wasn't even an air filter installed. I was on a deadline to reschedule, as we were moving in before 2/1. They worked with me to get a day that worked for me. The day before, we received 13 inches of snow. They called that night and said they would call in the morning - if they could get the vehicles out - they would be there. And they made it. The guys were very professional and did great work. Later in the evening - I noticed no heat was coming from my furnace. I called them and they back in 10 minutes. It took a little bit to figure out the problem - but it got fixed. Great experience with this company. Will definitely be using them for future cleanings.

.Nahum carries all the equipment he needs in a well-packed car trunk. I was accustomed to seeing bulky equipment in vent cleaning projects, but he did a better job with the smaller equipment which did not take up a lot of space in the house. When he showed me how dirty the ducts were, I knew we really needed his services! After the duct cleaning, he cleaned the inside of our very old and outdated furnace. He was not able to get it to restart. He worked until 9 PM trying to get it to work, going out to a hardware store to get some parts. He was very clearly upset by this failure and apologized many times. I told him the truth - the furnace has been on its last legs for a long while and I knew that the failure to restart was not his fault or caused by the cleaning. Before he left the house, he promised to contact Turtle Tech (Angie's List) to help. He called several times to make sure we had met with Turtle Tech. He voided the fees for the cleaning and offered to bring us space heaters if we got cold. Turtle Tech inspected the old furnace and recommended replacement. Nahum came by the house to see how we were doing and I requested an ultraviolet light system to be added to the replacement furnace. Nahum came by the house on the 27th, when the furnace was being installed to check on the progress of the job. He will be back to install the ultraviolet light system when it is delivered. Nahum is such a conscientious worker and so dedicated to excellent service that I (buyer) found myself in the unusual position of trying to calm him (service provider) after the furnace couldn't be started. Canceling the fees for the cleaning, and offering space heaters showed an unusually high level of personal responsibility. I ended up grateful for his help and the referral to Turtle Tech, and feeling rueful that our old furnace had put him through all the drama.

I initially hired Your Duct Guy to clean the dryer vent for a townhome I had recently purchased. Levin did an excellent job and gave me advice on maintaining my furnace (without being pushy). I welcomed his advice and had him look at the furnace. Since he did such a nice job with the dryer, I hired him to clean the furnace and also do air duct and vent cleaning. Levin always worked with me to find a time that was good for both of us. When he could not make a job because he was ill, he offered to send someone else. However, I decided to wait until Levin was able to perform the service since I liked his work cleaning the dryer vent. When the weather suddenly turned cold and I was concerned about the furnace not working well, Levin was able to work on the furnace that day due to a cancellation. Levin was always on time, calling me to let me know he was on his way. He was professional, got the job done, and always cleaned up after the job. He was also willing to help me and gave me information about other Your Duct Guy services that were available. I do not like pushy sales people and I appreciated him giving me information without trying to strong arm me into having something done. That is one of the reasons (in addition to good work) why I continued to use Your Duct Guy and Levin. Based on my experience with Levin’s work, I would definitely recommend Your Duct Guy and plan to use their services again in the future.
