Your Duct Guy - Professional Cleaners

Purchased vent cleaning for $59. 2 Guys showed up in the agreed time frame. Called with ETA when they left their facility. Went right to work cleaning the vent, explaining what they were doing as they went, suggesting some repairs that I could do, with no pressure to have them make the repairs. When I asked if they could do them, and how much, they gave reasonable prices and did the work immediately, and better than I would have. Also offered a discount on parts if we wanted more vent covers done later. They did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves well. They were very friendly and courteous. I would recommend and use them again.

My problem with them is the policy of the company where they did not state upfront that they do not do dryer vents That was one of my principal reasons for doing vents So that was disappointing .... Workers could not do it without permission from boss

Provider called in a timely manner, knew what he was talking about and performed service on schedule.

I purchased the $59 Dryer Vent Cleaning deal. They were very responsive and contacted me within 2 days. When they arrived they were neat and professional. Everything went very well, they did a thorough job and cleaned up well after themselves. My biggest complaint was that they did not carry a 2 story ladder. Fortunately I had one and was able to help them set it up. However, if I had not been home or had a 2 story ladder, my exterior vent would not have been cleaned out. This is something that should be included in the write up and I'm including so that others will be aware.

When I called to make the appointment for him to come out he was telling me that what I paid for was not what he was offering. He was telling me that I had to pay more and it was advertised wrong on Angie’s List. I told him that whatever Angie’s List said was what I paid for and that's the service he is supposed to do. When he came, I wasn't here but my daughter was and he did it. He has been calling me back since to pay additional and I have not taken the call. I was not satisfied at all. I told him I paid for vent cleaning and he said no it was maintenance. He said that it was for if you got the vent cleaning before and were doing maintenance. I told him that was not what it said. He said that was the way Angie's List advertised it and it was incorrect. I asked him why would he go with something that was incorrectly advertised. It says professional cleaning for one dryer vent and does not say maintenance. He said the maintenance is more and asked me to go on his website to see, but I told him that's not Angie's List. I told him that his website is what people look on if someone arbitrarily is looking for vent cleaning. I said the reason that I went on Angie's List is because I trust them and that's what I paid for, so basically he was telling me that was incorrect. It didn't make any sense. I wasn't here when he came to do the vent cleaning. He left a message on my voicemail stating that I owe him more. He has been calling me and I have not been accepting the call because I'm not paying him any more. He did the work, but I'm not satisfied that he keeps on calling me for more money. He did clean out everything and my daughter said that he did a good job. He put a new thing on the back of my dryer and vacuumed it and stuff. He actually came before time which is why I wasn't here. By the time I got home he was already done. I don't think it was professional to be calling and telling me about what Angie's List advertises. I would not use him again because he was not going by his word.

Bought the big deal for vent cleaning. Patrick and Carlo showed up on time and went to work. We had just purchased this home in January, and unfortunately for these gentlemen, it appeared these vents had NEVER been cleaned. They worked extremely hard to ensure everything was done and clean as a whistle. They also looked at our air handlers and made cleaning recommendations as well. Overall very postive experience and will be using them again anually. Thanks guys!

Levin and his partner were very professional and very efficient in completing the job. They were running behind in the time frame but kept calling me updating me of their progress in getting to my home. They completed the job quickly and efficiently and cleaned up all work areas. They were very respectful of our home-property-and had impeccable manners!!! We would recommend them highly and would use their service again in the future if we have any other duct work needs.

It was good. They were very professional with minimal distraction. They were in and out and the ducts were very clean.

We purchased the $59 dryer vent cleaning. The initial appointment was postponed by a couple weeks due to a large job somewhere else but they arrived promptly for the new date. Two guys were here for 1 1/2 hours or so. Our dryer is on the second floor and the vent in the eaves of our townhouse. This is 21/2 floors up but they had the necessary ladders to handle this with no problems. They did recommend replacing the connection from our dryer to the wall but we were expecting this after reading earlier reviews. We went ahead figuring we received good value and it was a good investment for the future. The amount of lint they extracted was amazing so really glad we got it done - we'd been here for over three years and this was our first cleaning. We will be doing it every year now.

Overall had a good experience with the vendor. They were very professional and did a great job. I had purchased the dryer vent cleaning special for $59. When the gentlemen arrived they ended up having to clean out a giant birds nest which was inside the dryer vent. This was not included in the $59 cost so i was charged an additional fee. I also had them install a guard on the outside of the dryer vent for another additional fee to keep this from happening again. Only negatives with the company were the cost and punctuality. They showed up to the house about an hour late. They did however call me to let me know they were running behind.

Can't say enough about the service provided. Patrick and Carlos arrived promptly, took off all of the vent/register covers, cleaned all of the ductwork, sanitized the covers, cleaned out the dryer lint trap area and then climbed up a latter to clean out the dryer duct and replace the cap with a bird-proof one - which it needed because the old cover didn't prevent the birds from building a condo nearly blocking off the airflow. Patrick and Carlos both seemed to not only know what they were doing but had a sense of pride in what they were doing and it showed. They cleaned up after they were done - to the point of vacuuming the trees outside of the dryer vent which got dirt on them as a result of the cleaning. I can't recommend them enough!!! They really did a great job!!!!

They were on time and very professional. They had the shoe cover on when inside my house. They clean up very well after the work was done. They made some useful recommendation. Definitely will use them again in the future.

Had no problem getting in touch with them to schedule the work it was schedule about a week or so after my call which was perfect. They had a cancellation on the day of my appt and called to see if they could come early which worked out great for me. Patrick and Carlos were wonderful. Very neat and clean and professional. Explained things to me, showed me what they were doing and what it looked like when it was done. I couldn't be happier with their work. I would recommend them to everyone and I would use them again and again. Very pleased....

The communication with this provider was difficult, you always leave a message with your contact information and hoping they will call you back. We had initially schedule the service for mid June, but days before they called back indicating that they needed to rescheduled due to amount of work. Had to cancel the service.

It went well. Seemed to do a great job in ensuring that the duct was cleaned out. I was happy with the job and would recommend them though use the Angie's List discount which is what I did.

Employees were prompt to the appointment. Thoroughly cleaned clothes dryer and vent and brought to my attention coil to outside was old and not up to code. For an additional $60, replaced coil and outside vent with trap so animals could not get inside. Employees were courteous, explained what they were doing in detail, and friendly.

Not awesome. They came and "cleaned" the vent and at the time didn't mention that it was clogged or that there was an issue. They did replace one of the parts that attaches to the back of the dryer and promptly charged us for that. 2 months later when the dryer was used again by a new tenant, we determined there was still an issue. They came back out 2 weeks after calling only to have to report that there was a clog and we had to pay $136 to clean it out. I don't understand what a dryer vent cleaning does if it doesn't clear out clogs. I honestly thought that when you clean a dryer vent, there won't be a clog in it when it is done. The dryer was used only a handful of times between the "cleaning" and the "clog". I would never use this company again for any service, and I'm highly unsatisfied. Felt like we were backed into a corner to have them remove the clog, and the service provider did not speak clear English, so it was very difficult to communicate with them.

The Duct Guys cleaned our dryer vent. I wish all providers were as professional as these gentlemen were. They called when they were on their way...put on booties over their shoes when they came into my home...explained what they were doing every step of the way...were courteous...friendly...respectful of me and my home...actually made my laundry area smell clean because of a product they used when vacuuming and they cleaned up both inside my house and outside on the roof and bushes where masses of thick clumps of old dryer lint landed. They replaced an exterior dryer vent cover for an extra charge, but it was absolutely necessary because the old one had crumbled due to sun and heat.
