Your Duct Guy - Professional Cleaners

Great job. Very professional and punctual. Blew out duct (got lots of lint out) and helped us solve our problem (and fire hazard) of our dryer hose becoming crushed and crimped behind the dryer.

He called me right away when he was running late. He made sure that he put on clean shoes before he started to work.He took care of some spots on the stairs, even though he wasn't paid for it.

They came in and first put a carpet down so my rugs would not get dirty. They pulled out my washer and dyer. They cleaned my dryer vent and also they did go on the roof to clean it from there also.I needed a new hose that ran from the dryer into the roof. Because my old one was not up to code. Which I knew before they came that needed to be replace. They had to make a bigger hole in the ceiling do to the fact that the old hole was too small.They did do a good job.

Very pleased. My initial call was answered immediately and all questions about nature of service, cost and timing were answered pleasantly and professionally. Was able to get an appointment within two business days. Two technicians arrived at the promised time. I even got a call when they were 45 minutes out. Both men were professional, courteous, organized, helpful and friendly. They are uniformed, clean cut, and wear paper booties. They put down drop cloths wherever their equipment went. They brought all the equipment needed to do the job including ladder. shop vac, hoses, power tools and spare parts. They cleaned up quickly and completely. Service from start to finish took about 4 hours (quote was between 3 and 6 hours.) I can't imagine a thorough duct and HVAC cleaning going any better.

It was not great only because whatever they used, they broke a piece of my dryer. So I couldn't use my dryer for a week. But they eventually got a piece and fixed it. So, it was fine. I guess, it happens. The price was fine. They did everything they could have after they broke the piece. It was just an inconvenience for me.

The service technicians arrived on time, were quite businesslike in their actions while still being very pleasant and communicative about what they found and what they did. I would definitely use them for future work.

On the phone, before the service was performed, it was a little confusing. Someone would answer the phone and either not identify themselves as being The Duct Guy or did not speak good English. But, eventually someone called me back and we got everything set up. The gentlemen who showed up within the agreed upon period of time were driving a truck and wearing shirts identifying them as The Duct Guy workers. They were very courteous and respectful toward our home. They appeared to do an extremely thorough job. They even helped me put filters over my duct covers. They were here about two hours for our 1800 sqft, forced air home. They also inspected our whole house fan and showed it to me. They told me they were Brazilian. We talked about their country and the upcoming Olympics. They were a pleasure to have in our home. They did a great job putting items back where they found them and cleaning up after themselves. We will definitely use them again.

I am pregnant and needed this done sooner than later. They were able to fit me on a Sunday morning and did an excellent job. I would reccomend them again to anyone!

We contacted them online, they promptly responded and set up a time to come out. They arrived on time and performed the job well and left the site clean.

Overall they seemed to do a good job and did it for the price they quoted. There was no attempt to force extra work on me by claiming I needed more cleaning than I did, or had extra vents. They gave me a combined Angie's List deal for the air duct and dryer vent cleaning, which I thought was nice. The only extra charge was to replace the dryer hose, which they suggested I do. It was admittedly crumpled in a few places, which creates more surfaces for lint to collect, so I agreed that a new hose was a good idea. It was a little more pricey than I expected but not too bad. The whole service took about 2-3 hours to complete. They were professional and did a good job not creating a mess anywhere. They were also willing to move furniture when needed to get to the vents. Afterward they let me know the furnace blower was somewhat dirty (they showed me a photo) and suggested I get it cleaned, but again they did not try to force themselves to get me to use their service (I already have a service plan for the furnace with another company, so I will not be using Your Duct Guy, but otherwise I probably would). The only minor issue was scheduling. I originally had them scheduled to come within a 2-hour window on a day I had off from work. They called shortly after that window started to let me know they'd arrive a little late, and it's then that I found out the service could take up to 4 hours. I had thought the 2-hour window meant it would take only 2 hours. I had plans later that day so I had to reschedule at that point for the following week. So I wish they had informed me of the time needed when I originally scheduled the job. I then got a call a few days later asking if I would be home that afternoon for my scheduled appointment, though it was not the day we had chosen. So something got mixed up in their system. But they were fine when I explained that the job wasn't scheduled for several more days, and they did come on time on the correct day. So even though there was some difficulty in getting them here, they were very accommodating and did eventually arrive at the correct time. Overall I would recommend Your Duct Guy and would use them again.

These guys went above and beyond my past experience with dryer vent cleaners. In addition to thoroughly cleaning the dryer vent hose, they cleaned the vent inside the dryer and brushed away any lingering lint. They PULLED OUT my dryer and cleaned behind it and the floor as well. They were outstanding, friendly, efficient.

It was fine. They did charge us more than the deal because they put a complete new hose on it. I actually went in and replaced it myself because their fix didn't work. The price ended up being double the price, which was probably $50 or $75 extra. They had it cleaned out, but it didn't work and I had to replace it a month later.

The original service was scheduled between 10 am - 12 pm on 9/3/15. At approximately 11:45 am on that date I received a phone call from their office informing me they had a problem and would not be able to preform the service on that date, so it was rescheduled between 10 am - 12 pm on 9/8/15. I received a call on that date informing me they were on their way and they arrived at approximately 12:15 pm. The work was preformed starting by cleaning the vent pipe from the outside dryer vent to the back of the dryer. They then came inside and removed the lint trap and cleaned out the dryer lint trap housing. They wore booties to keep the carpeting clean and cleaned up after themselves when the job was completed. Their cancellation of the first date and slight tardiness on the second date is what gave them an overall rating of a B instead of an A. If the service had been in my own home I would not have minded as much as I could have kept occupied with jobs to complete around the house. On these two dates however I was house setting and wasted my morning on the first date waiting for them to arrive and for the service to be completed.

These guys were brilliant, very smart and courteous and enjoyable and really did a remarkably good job cleaning out the dryer vent, plus cleaned a bunch of other stuff in the area around the dryer too. Above and beyond.

They were punctual and efficient. Their advice was sound and the work was well priced.

We just had our dryer repaired and the installer suggested getting the ducts cleaned to prevent a fire. I purchased a deal from Your Duct Guy for duct cleaning through an Angie's List Deal. The appointment was scheduled, delayed [YDG called in advance to notify of the delay] and arrived at the rescheduled time. Levin and his helper cleaned the duct has agreed. Levin found the reason the duct was clogged was due to the incorrect installation of the ducting to the vent at the dryer - the flex hose connecting from dryer to duct was being flattened by the dryer when in place because the hole in the floor was right under the dryer. In addition, for sometime, the flex hose had pulled away from the back of the dryer in addition to being flattened by the dryer, causing a large amount of lint to accumulate under and in back of the dryer. Levin created a better floor access to the rigid duct work vent. There was an additional cost for the drilling, hoses and time spend with making this repair but it was totally worth it. Thank you.

They arrived several hours late which made us wait basically most of the day for them to show up. Once they arrived everything went smooth and they did an excellent job.

I was not present for the job, but my tenant was pleased. They were patient with our difficulty in getting the tenant to schedule the appointment. They always returned calls. They accepted the coupon for the vent cleaning. I am pretty sure that it was $59.

All work was performed as promised and finally after 7 years, my dryer works like new.

Well. He tried to sell some additional repairs and services, but cheerfully and professionally completed the work when those invitations were declined.
