STA DRY INC

They did a sloppy job. They didn't remove the old system just slapped their's right over the top of it. Some spots were uphill and should have been downhill. The drain they put in was above level ground. They said they would have 7 people there to complete it in a few days, but only two people ever came to do anything and it was very rushed. The drain they installed from the outside didn't function right and it went uphill. I fought with them all summer of '07 to get it fixed, and they did send someone but they didn't fix it to my satisfaction. They all left a mess that I had to clean up.

Two days after installation, heavy rain and about quarter in in both rooms. I called Stay-Dry. Sent a man who could find nothing wrong, said pump was on, but caulked around radon pipe. I called the company told them I had put payment in dispute with Visa. Got to the President, Mr. Smith, who had various workmen call me, all said it was because only half front of house done. One said water must have come in from the ceiling. Smith said put paper on floor and indeed water seeped where old and new floor joined, but not in the room that was not done. Visa said get letter from other company saying what is wrong, but could only get letter saying what else should be done, spout, etc., but was unacceptable, they want letter saying what is wrong: against policy of Quality 1st Basement, who had come to inspect area. Now I don't know what is going to happen when heavy rain. So far have not payed the balance to credit card. Smith was civil, but nobody inquired after rains.
