J Cwanger had a very competitive price and performed the entire job using quality GAF materials such that the roof has a 50 year warranty. About 2 years after installation, the roof leaked and they came immediately to repair the issue. Unfortunately, the repair required was not the immediate patch job. When it still leaked, they came back and did an extensive fix to the whole area around the leak and it has not leaked again. It's good to work with a company that stands behind its work for years to come.

I sent this company an email asking for a quote to repair a serious leak round my chimney. They requested a phone call, which I was happy to do to describe the problem. The next day, they came out to diagnose the issue (bad flashing as expected) provide a quote. Upon acceptance of the quote, which included completely redoing the previous bad job, the provided the services in two days. A bill arrived the following week. I couldn't say enough good things about this entire transaction. The price was fair and all aspects of this quality repair were professional. I even asked them to give me a review of my roof, as it's been on the house since I moved in. There was no up-sell attempt at all, just an honest assessment. I will definitely give them a call when a new roof is needed.

A good, solid roof from a good solid company! Cwanger has been an institution in the Cherry Hill area for generations. The company is being capably guided into the 21st century by Jeff Grimley, an associate and protege of the founding family. This is the second roof I have had done by this company, and I believe the third this home has had from Cwanger over the course of 60 years. (The former roof was due for replacement due to the age and appearance of the shingles, however it never leaked or needed repair--a testament to why I am loyal to this company.). Mr. Grimley is the only roofer I dealt with who had a confident, no-nonsense approach to our roofing needs. He guided us away from certain, more expensive options that we did not need, and towards the right roofing solutions for both longevity and proper roof ventilation. Cwangers was not the lowest estimate, but overall was a fair-market price for a company with a fine record and quality workmanship. The work crew also seemed very professional and satisfied in their endeavors. [I intentionally write this review several months after installation. The roof has come through several storms, including a recent wind storm with no problems, whatsoever.]

They showed up exactly on time, listened to my concerns, and resolved the issue very quickly. I had a leak in my roof that they repaired easily that day. We are extremely pleased with the work that was done. The shutters were difficult because they needed to match the 30 year old shutters that were on the rest of the house. Jeff ordered unfinished shutters and had paint mixed to match the color. They turned out perfect! Their employees knew what they were doing and completed the work in a timely manner. They also cleaned up the work areas work (both inside and outside the house) before they left We have used J.Cwanger many times in the past. They had replaced our roof, gutters, downspouts and soffits many years ago. We also have them clean our gutters every year. We have never been disappointed with their work and highly recommend this company. Sally & Joe

Although price was $500 more than the nearest competitor, I believe the warranty was a little better than another roofing material's warranty. Also, Cwanger's estimator pointed out things I should be aware of with roofing jobs, including being sure that any roofer I selected would actually file the necessary paperwork to insure warranty was in place (I had been upset because my prior roof was only approximately 12 or 13 year old on a rehab of the house done by prior owner). Cwanger started and completed job as stated after it was scheduled. Cwanger was careful about foundation plants and perrenials, cleaned up after finished. Although I was not present on their cleanup of marks on my siding, they came back to remove a few missed spots when I was able to be present to point them out. I was very happy with their professionalism and have recommended Cwanger to others.

Requested an estimate for new Roofing, Gutters, & Siding via Angies List Site. Provider responded saying that they would take a look at the property and get back to me. Provider never responded. Provider did call me and send estimate. Thanks!

Estimate was done quickly and professionally and at a reasonable cost. Installation was easy and quick to schedule, process went quickly, installation crew professional and efficient.

Everything went very well. The worker showed up on time, and spent at least four very thorough hours on the job, and cleaned up and took away all the resulting debris. Terrific! We will definitely be contacting the J. Cwanger Inc. company next year when we replace the roof shingles and gutters.

Perfect! Gave me the right quote, contracted same day. We set an approximate date to start, and when the weather cooperated,, the job was completed.

It was fantastic. They were great people who did great job. They were on time and cleaned up very well. I had an issue with a gutter that was leaking and they came right out. There were no issues at all. They were very professional. The owner and the guy was great.

They arrived early on the promised day, announced their presence and intent, did their work and were gone in about an hour.

Jeff Grimley (main guy under Cwanger) was most trustworthy roof contractor I dealt with. He reminded me of Mike Holmes from HGTV - he really looked into my problem and I found him to be the most reliable and upfront compared to other contractors. Was on-site nearly every day. Crew was professional and reliable. Crew went above and beyond to make sure that job was done right. Thanks to Jeff G. and crew for their hard work.

Went very well. Company had installed roof 10 tears ago. They keep site clean and do work in a timely manner.

He gave us the best price. We did get estimates from a different company. From the day I talked to him, he did it right away. Within two days, the job was done. The patio was leaking but I haven't seen an issue. The job was done well. It was quick. I don't have a leak. I would use him again.

The crew was very punctual, professional and most of all 15 minutes early for the job. They were very responsive to any questions or concerns I had about the placement of the vents. They got right to work and was done within 30-45 minutes and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely be using this company again in the future.

Response was excellent. I was told via e-mail sent on Saturday that I would be contacted on Monday. I had a phone call on Monday morning at 9:AM, a person came to look at the job at 10:AM and the job was completed by the same afternoon. It's very important to me to get a quick response and J CWanger came through with flying colors. I probably could have gotten the job done for less money, but they were responsive and professional.

Contractor was very punctual for both the estimate and work. Work was delayed about a week because of uncertain weather (no chances being taken by them). Crew chief was very experienced, encouraged questions and did not rush to put the roof on before examining every inch and discussing it fully with me. Turns out that additional work was needed to repair a window sill (my carpenter will do it) but they left it water tight. I emailed Genl Mgr Jeff several days later with a question on the roof. His crew was back over within hours to ensure there was no problem. (there was not). This company and crew is very professional and responsive. Price was in range of others...maybe 2-3% more, and worth it. If I need other roof work I will call these guys.

They arrived and got to work straight away, the smell from the squrrels was very overpowering but the workers were very fast and professional.After they sealed up the roof and soffit, they also added starter shingles that were missing, a few other damaged shingles, and caulked a few windows for us. Highly recommended. They were very professional and they did a fantastic job. We will definately use the again.

We had several quotes done and J Cwagner was one of the two to make it to the final list. Both quotes offered the same materials and pretty much the same warranty, JC's quote was a few hundred dollars more, but it was the better professionalism and no pressure tactics that made us choose him. The crew showed up on time and was very courteous. They did a real good job of keeping the mess to a minimum. Either things got moved out of the way or they got covered with tarps. At the end of each day the owner and/or the general manager stopped by and did an inspection. On the final day, there were a couple of minor things which were taken care of immediately. Following Hurricane Sandy, to my surprise, a couple of ridge shingles blew off. These were fixed the same day we notified JC about it. Overall, it was a great experience and I would not hesitate to use this company again.
