Responsive, professional and knowledgeable craftsman, but unfortunately they always seem to be the substantially higher that others that do the same work. Usually, we don't use them because of this , but this time we needed quick service and they promised the fastest service. They lived up to that, but as usual their pricing was rather high. I would use them again but they would not be my first choice. As a note, we recently received a quote from Hutchinson to run a gas line to our cook top. Hutchinson was literally three times the price of everybody else we got a quote from.

My experience with them wasn't too bad. They kind of fixed the problem for a while but they sold me an extended warranty plan. The guy made it sound like it was for my whole house and it ended up being only for one unit so I was kind of upset about that but otherwise it was alright. The guy said while he was here he could give me this plan and that we could do something extra. He said six months from now when I'm getting ready for the winter season they do like a free tune up which I thought was cool. When I called up for the free tune up thing they told me I had the plan only on one unit. I didn't like the way the guy delivered that. I guess their pricing is in the normal range. He solved the problem but the problem came back though a few weeks later after that. The guy had to come back out to fix it again and he fixed it the second time I guess. They were very responsive. I had another issue but I didn't call them.

Very efficient and high quality work. I would recommend using Hutchinson to anyone.

It took a little longer than I would have liked to go from estimate to date of installation because I needed a Saturday appointment, but all AC providers were having lots of calls due to brutal summer. Also, I'm on a 0 % interest payment plan, which is nice. NOTE: PSEand G refused to install the new AC and the reasons they gave were pretty bogus. I've use Hutch for all my plumbing repairs over the years and with this shoddy construction I'm living in, there have been MANY visits. They are always courteous, efficient and, with the exception of the AC unit, have always been very easy to schedule.

Great service. Showed up at the house earlier than scheduled, but this worked out ok. Gave a simple quote over e-mail. One price for single zone heating system and the size property I described. No extra charge for part of my basement ducts going through a crawl space. Other quotes I got either were higher with charges for the crawl space or per-vent charges above a certain amount. These guys were there for 3 hours, and from what i can tell did a great job. They drilled holes in duct work every foot or two and inserted a high pressure device with an attachment that scrapes the sides of the duct, then plug the holes with rubber stoppers. The whole operation was rather impressive. And I was able to see some of the stuff in my ducts that are no longer there, so well-worth the money. They were running a special that included a free dryer vent cleaning. I usually don't post reviews but with all the negatives about some of these duct cleaning companies that I've heard, I was very happy with the way this service went.

Before I moved into my new home, I decided it would be a worthy endeavor to have the ducts cleaned as well as the dryer vent. I figured the ducts had not likely been cleaned in my new older home and it would be good to start off clean! I am so happy that I did. They were pretty dirty. The two men that came to the home were courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and did a fantastic job. The job took longer than anticipated (lost of dirty duct work) and they never complained or rushed. They answered my questions and told me exactly what they would do, showed me how it worked and when finished they cleaned up and put everything back as it was. Overall a good experience. The price was a little more than I had seen advertised with others but I wanted quality work and that is what I received.

My husband decided to use another company. I did all of the interviewing at our home; gave my husband all the papers and information that came with the estimate and he in turn called the company and asked many questions. He and I both felt they were in the running for the job. We just both went with the guarantees that the other company offered.

The associate was polite and answered all of our questions. The estimate was higher than a competitive quote.

Great, It's perfect! Our heat had gone out and it was one of the first cold snaps of the season. They came out even earlier than they said they would. They gave us a time frame and we were okay with that and then they came out within an hour and had us up and running. The guy was very knowledgeable and the price was cheap compared to what they did. We agreed to sign up for a service agreement and by agreeing to do that they cut a significant percentage off the cost of that service call and now we have better peace of mind going forward in the future. I think it was for three hundred dollars and we only paid a hundred.

We were given the exact cost over the telephone and promised to replace the tank that day. The repairman Scott called 1/2 hour before arrival to advise us he was on his way. Scott reviewed the details, warranty, safety issues and all the settings. He was very prompt, knowledgeable and professional. He also told us if we had any questions at a later time to call the 800 and we would get answers. The high level of service was excellent and we would use them in the future.

There was a problem with the heater but the company quickly resolved the issue. Everything has been running fine this past year.

They are very good but extremely expensive. They are well organized and professional. They know what they are doing. We used them a couple of weeks ago. The only issue is the price. They are very high.

checked ac freon was low, we had it service a month prior, indicting a leak. they installed a stop leak sealer product which seems to have worked. will know for sure next arrival of hot weather. if it is leaking we will use Hutchinson again to repair or replace.

1 installation person arrive promptly at 7:05AM,second came by car at 7:45. Vent for heating system placed through basement and crawl space to side of house close to door. HWH vent placed in front of house next to gas meter. Refrigerant hose run under upstairs tub drain instead of next to it. Loose ducts not resecured and quot;We don't do thatand quot;! Existing duct not reconnected to heater after salesman assured us that it would be---therefore basement being cooled when ac was running. Concrete rubble left under new heater as well as in the crawl space where holes had been drilled through block. Thick film of concrete dust throughout basement--no tarps used--very poor cleanup! As an addendum after calls to salesman,sales mgr notified installation coordinator who responded very promptly. Second team retrned on 8/16 and did an excellent,professional job of correcting the initial installation. Wish they had been the first team! Disappointed that we had no verbal feedback from the company after this. Still awaiting paperwork on AC and HWH along with inspection schedule. A call from Mr Hutchinson would have made us feel that the co. cared about it's customers. Office staff and salesman were excellent--professional and efficient--unable to say the same for first crew. As an addendum--project failed electrical inspection from Twp.--was fixed by third party company sent by Hutchinson.

I have a 135 year old house that had been retrofitted for gas forced air heat 35 years ago. That system was noisy,leaky, and poorly balanced. Kitchen and bathroom were cold, living room and bedrooms hot. Supply vents were incorrectly located on interior walls and near doorways. There was only one return duct for the entire 1800 sq ft house. Over the years, I blocked some ducts so as to force heat to the cold areas. On the first day they removed all the old basement distribution ducts and the old furnace. They removed the 12 year old water heater and the old 60+ year old Rheem Water heater that had worked up until 12 years ago, and then installed the new water heater. I stayed out of their way. On the second day they installed all new return ducting and added a second return duct. Installed the furnace. They reused the old supply ducts that were properly located. They installed new supply ducts under the Kitchen and located the outlet under the toe kick by the outside wall cabinet. ** It is so nice to do the dishes with the warm air toasting my toes.*** The dirt crawl space was so gross -spider webs and petrified cat s***- that I provided the technician with Tyvec Coveralls Breaking Bad style . They routed ducts to the bathroom and back room outer wall locations where they heat up the North facing cold rooms nicely. I stayed out of their way. Hutchinson agreed to work with me and the vagaries of retrofitting an old house. We made decisions that helped balance the system and increase head room and floor space in the basement. I am very happy with the installation. The furnace's variable heat out put and fan speeds provide a much quieter heating system.

It did not go well. Hutchinson sent me a bill for 2.5 hours of labor, despite only spending 45 minutes at my house. They recommended replacing all units, despite the fact that they installed new gas furnaces in the house in April of 2007 and serviced the units every year until 2011 according to the service record attached to my units. I called to complain and was told that the hours of labor are billed according to their gps system. That makes sense since the technician sat in his truck in front of my house with the clock running. I agreed to pay the upfront $99.00 but did not think I should pay for anything else since the technician spent less than 1 hr at my house. I was told that someone would contact me to discuss my situation further, but instead Hutchinson billed me $201.16 for a recommendation.

I recently moved into a new house. I called for a service because I thought the AC sounded really loud. They said it wasn't time for the covered contracted visit (which was a month away). However, if I took the premium service contract, they would come out quicker, it would be covered as well as any parts to repair the system. They came out within a few days and changed the filter and the AC seemed fine. A week later, a contractor was installing new doors on a 90 degree day and by the end of the day, the AC stopped working completely. I was on my way out of town and had animals in the house (during a heat wave). I called and they couldn't come out right away, but would come in a week. I told them I was about to get on a plane and had animals in the house with no air during a heat wave. It didn't seem to matter that I had purchased the premium protection plan. After much complaining, they sent someone out two days later. The fan motor was shot and was replaced free of charge due to the service contract. System worked fine for the rest of the summer. Now it is the end of October and the weather is getting colder. I called to set up a service visit for the heating system. They are unable to have anyone come out for a month and it doesn't matter if you have premium coverage or not. I was under the impression that the premium coverage and service meant that someone would come out in a reasonable amount of time. This is a new house and I haven't ever run the heating system. Thankfully, I turned it on and it worked, but it does need a tune up. They need to hire more servicemen to accommodate the number of service calls they acquire. I pay $32 a month for premium service and I don't think they come out any faster than if I didn't have the extra coverage. At least the parts and labor are covered in anything does go wrong, just don't know how long before someone comes out to service your system!

They were good and cleaned up well afterwards.

Quote for installation went beyond the first day, finishing a second business day instead. Was no problem , just had to rearrange my schedule to have someone there at premises.

Company had a special on pre season inspection Job was efficiently done. Technician cleaned filter at an extra charge.

Great Company!!! After I called my home warrenty company and the refused to fix my Airconditioner (I still don't know why) I call Hutch. They came the next day n my Airconditioner was fixed with in 1/2 hour.

well. Trying to extend life of air conditioner. Unit has a small leak we are dealing with. We do not have funds available to replace complete system. Hutchinson service tech has been working with me on options to save money and to prolong the time frame to replace air conditioning unit.

I chose Hutchinson for this job because I trust them. I have a maintenance contract with them and they send me the same technician every spring and fall to perform the maintenance. He is always punctual and professional. The dryer vent cleaners were obviously different techs. There were two of them. They were a little late but apologized upon arrival. They were respectful of my home and wore booties over their shoes. They kept me informed during the job and explained what they were doing. They put everything back in place afterwards (screen on the window, tucked insulation back on the attic door). I live in a town home so they could
