Went very well and those who did the work were very good.

They were very good. The technician was very courteous, but I do have reservations about his skills. I will use them again, but I feel that they do not always have the customer in mind.

We have a yearly contract with them. It is convenient to have one of their plans because they maintain the records and call me instead of me having to think about it. I have never compared their prices because I am happy with their service and quality.

Their prices are OUTRAGEOUS! Their estimate for work that I I'm having done, even the lowest of their "good", "better" and "best" options, came in at 3 TIMES HIGHER than the estimate that we decided to go with. The salesman that came to the house was very nice though, but, WOW! We received 4 estimates overall and this one was MUCH higher than any other we received for installation of a central air system.

They were pretty good with repairing the air conditioner. They gave us other options of using their extended warranty service which also included the current repair. It didn’t save us any money but it didn’t even cost us too much to get it repaired. So it worked out well for us.

There were some errors in the estimate and when I called that to their attention, they said that they were going to redo it. They never did and so I called them and asked for an estimate. I never received that. So I would not recommend them.

Overall it was a good experience and the service was good.

Engaging salesman, asked detailed questions about energy use, suggested appliances. Did not try to steer us toward most expensive equipment. Company filled out all rebate forms. Workers showed up on time on promised date, took away all discards, including packaging. Workers stayed until end of work day, returned next day to finish job, cleaned up at the end. Taught us to how to clean reusable air filter and use new computerized thermostat (controls temperature and humidity, gives outdoor temp, too). Half of fee as down payment, half when work was done.

have a PSEand C contract. However they coudl not comeout until Tuesday. WHen I spoke to Hutchinson, they assured me that they would be out today, and if the problem could not be repaired after authorizing repairs, I would be out up in a hotel. The service cllr was 139.00, in the end, I needed a capacitor ane motor. The entire price was 625.00. I then inquired regardung theri service contracts and for 32.00/month,I have my AC and gast Heater covered in full. Note Hutchinson did the original HVAC, when our home was built in 1992. Their technician was uniformed, clean and neat in aoppearance, had a photo I.D. and provided me with full disclosure of costs prior to starting the work. I heartily recommend this company, for HVAC repairs.

Overall they were here for an hour, did their work at a reasonable price and left.

Our 20+ year old boiler was malfunctioning. We told Hutchinson the problem and requested a quote for replacing the unit. They sent a tech out who spent less than 15 minutes in the house to confirm the boiler was indeed malfunctioning. The cost of that appointment was slightly over $100, even though the tech did not do anything. The next day a sales person came out to provide an estimate for replacing the boiler. Even though I explicitly and repeatedly told the salesperson that I only wanted to know the cost of replacing the boiler, he kept trying to sell me on house-wide energy upgrades (to qualify for government energy-star rebates). I explained repeatedly that I appreciated the value of the government rebates, but I was only interested in replacing the boiler at that point in time. The sales person kept pushing the rebate program, despite my objections. Finally, after much effort, I convinced the salesperson to provide a quote for installing only a new boiler. The estimate was over $10K (he insisted on also providing a quote for updates that would qualify for the rebate program; the cost was over 17K). Over the next couple days I collected quotes from two other companies (Chase Heating; Davis Heating) both quoted the work at $4200 for installing the same WEIL MCLEAN boilers included in the Hutchinson quote.

Disappointed, insulted. Estimate for work came in 2.5 times other estimates. Estimator quickly took measurements. Estimate arrived 1 week later via mail. Not itemized or detailed to analyze and make adjustments and informed decisions. Salesman never followed up.

Bob- always polite, friendly, and informative on products and service that may pertain to our needs. Completes job on timely basis.

They are very professional. They come on time and when they say the will. I started using them when the previous company misdiagnosed a problem with my air conditioner. They came and diagnosed it correctly and fixed it. I have a contract with them to do Fall and Spring inspection of the heating and air conditioning system. They do a good job about coming out. They replae the filters. The guys are always very professional, and dressed in uniform. I have never really went with anyone else in a while, but they do good work, so I am willing to pay for their service.

A gentleman named Mike Hine came to my house and spent 3 hours measuring and informing me and my wife on the HVAC systems and options Hutchinson had available. During this estimate we were told about a state run program that would supplement 50% of our installation up to $5,000. During the meeting I asked him to include estimates for both a gas and oil heating units. He said that he would get back to me by Thursday of the following week (the 13th). The following week I researched the state program he was talking about and found out that it may not have been as good as he stated. Hutchinson needed to improve the effeicncy of my ENTIRE house by 25% (not just a heater replacement) to qualify for the 50% rebate. We would probably get at least a $2,000 rebate if we purchase and installed a gas heater with an efficiency rating above 92%. Also the rebates take over 120 days for the State of New Jersey to pay out, and they send an inspector out to your house to make sure the work was done to their specifications. If you fail that inspection you don't get the rebate. Still we were interested in enrolling in the state program his company was qualified to host. He was already several days late on his estimate. I called Hutchinson's answering service on the 19th and asked to speak to him, since he never left me his business card I couldn't call him directly. They said they would contact him immediately and he would call me within the next 24 hours. Now in most cases I would have left it as just a poor estimate, though my wife and I were genuinely interested in the state program. I called back on the 21st, the phone answering services gave me his personal cell phone number. I called and left him a message. I didn't think it is the usual practice of a salesman to take 3 hours out of his life to completely fall off the face of the earth when hearing customers were interested. After still hearing nothing over the weekend I called the answering service on the 24th and they gave me his managers phone number. His name was Carry something, I don't remember his last name. I called him and left him a message also. Still no response. I gave up. This is now September 8th and I'm finally taking the time to put this up on Angie's List.

They provided a good service. I would recommend them.

It was easy to schedule. They always come on time and call prior to the visit, which is good to know when it's going to happen. The repair has corrected the problem. The work was preformed according to the estimate and the time they specified. If needed, I would use them again.

They were quick, reasonable, and did high quality work.

I called at 7am with a flood in my kitchen from the bathroom above. I received a call back before 8am. The woman on the phone was pleasant and upfront about the standard cost of $99 to come out (which is about average cost in my experience and more of a warning than you get from other companies). The plumber was prompt and courteous. He was honest about what was wrong and the process to fix. He even gave me the option of trying to do it myself, which I decided against. This was a good thing since it was slightly more complex than he originally anticipated but I appreciated his honesty. Excellent experience. I will definitely use again!

I was very happy with them. They were very polite and prompt. They always told me when they were going to come, and they were on time. I was very satisfied with the work.

We were without heat on a cold, winter day. We called in the morning. The technician arrived about 5 hours later. We know the technician as we have Spring and Fall check-ups with this company. He has advised us already on our furnace and signs of age problems, including the advice to have a carbon monoxide monitor. After inspection and determining the problem he installed the thermostat and gave us operating instructions.

The people we dealt with on the phone were very nice and very helpful and sent a plumber the next day. He came when he was scheduled, explained everything thoroughly and did a very good job.

All was great. Good service staff, prompt friendly technician. They inspected my furnace, were honest in the apprasial of the lifespan of the furnace but did not try to sell me anything for a sale's sake.

Great. The company inspected my furnace and I was impressed with them so I used their plumbing service. The plumber was on time, professional, friendly and did a great job replacing the faucet.

I was having a problem with my heat and when I called I was able to make an appointment for them to come out. The unit was under warranty and I did not have to pay for servicing.
