I had noticed that my home smelled musty during the day so I began using a dehumidifier to help. The previous owner of this home had left this for me when I bought the house in the spring. It seemed like the air felt cool when the air conditioner was on. I wasn't too surprised when they said that I was low on refrigerant and after they put in the EZ Seal, it does seem even cooler in the house, though I do supplement it with the dehumidifier. Both technicians were prompt, courteous and patient with my questions. The first one, a woman, even asked if I would like her to replace the air filter in my heater system that she saw in my garage. I thanked her, but said that I had replaced the other one a month before. I have worked with Hutchinson in the past and did not hesitate to take advantage of their checkup deal. I think that the price of installing EZ Seal into my system was a bit high, but I feel confident that received quality care. I will use them in the fall to check on my heater.

We had a complete hot water heater and air conditioning replaced. I will absolutely use them again.

I had my a/c serviced in the beginning of June by a local shore company with whom I have a service contract. One week later when i turned it on it did not work. I called them but they said they had 50 people ahead of me and could not get anyone to fix it for a few days. They came the following Thursday (I was not there) and when I went to the shore on Friday it still was not working. When I called she said she and quot;would seeand quot; if they could get someone out to fix it although they had been there already two times! I waited all day and finally called them back shortly before they closed since I had not heard from anyone. She told me she would get in touch with the tech and call me back. When she called me she said the tech that was there yesterday said i needed a part and he ordered it and it would be in on Tuesday. Well, that part was the condensor and cost $2300 which they never told me about. Needless to say, I was now on a mission to get some estimates. I called Hutchinson because they installed and service my unit at home and I had just had a discussion with my tech, Bob, about how they do work at the shore. I did not know that. When I called Hutchinson they told me that they now have an office located in Sea Isle. Unfortunely, they could not schedule my estimate for a few days (the 4th of July was in the middle of week which didn't help). I left a key for the estimator, Jim. I spoke with him before he came and expressed my interest in getting a Puron vs. Freon and also a Coastal Unit. This was my last estimate to receive so I was anxious to make a decision. Jim came when he was scheduled and contacted me very shortly after. He quickly emailed and faxed the quotes for my comparison and was available for answer my questions. I had received 2 other estimates. One was way less expensive but the company did not give me a full estimate telling me exactly what they were going to do. The other estimate was very comparable to Hutchinson but I the warranty was not as good. The other company was local to the shore but I have had a long relationship with Hutchinson and felt comfortable dealing with them. I feel that i paid a fair price for a great product, got a great warranty and it was installed quickly. Jim was able to give me what i was looking for and had it installed before the next weekend! I am very pleased.

We use them regularly. They will be coming next week to service our air conditioner. We haven't shopped around for the prices. We don't like that we have to call and schedule the time to remember that it is a winter time or summer time to get my heater or air conditioner serviced. When I use to have an oil heater, they use to always call and remind me or call to set up an appointment to do that. They don't do that anymore and maybe people have to call on their own. We never had any problem.

It went good. They cleaned up after themselves. They also noted an electrical problem-they recommended for an electrician come out to fix.

Hutchinson provided the lowest quote. (I attempted to get 3 quotes, but was only able to get 2.) However, I did not choose Hutchinson, because they could not schedule the work as soon as the competitor. The representative was prompt and responsive.

They were timely. Work was completed as explained. And they were able to do it without disturbing scrubs as originally stated. There was some erosion concerns later which they came out and corrected

Called the night before the appointment date said would show between 0800 and 0900 in the morning. Showed right at 0800. Technician looked over system did a check found no problem with system. Then went to thermostat and found it was the problem. As the tech had no thermostat in his van, other than super deluxe models, he asked if I wanted him to direct wire the system and I could turn unit off and on at the furnace. Which I approved of. He ordered a replacement thermostat, and completed the direct wired splicing. I would use them again, as I have used them before as in the past. They have always been prompt and courteous.

The experience was excellent. They are very reliable and all their workmen are courteous. They know what they are talking about and take the time to explain what they are going to do and how the unit is going to perform for me.

The installation was smooth and they were on-time. I was very happy with their service. The price was a little high but that was because I needed an odd-sized water heater.

They came back three times to our house for the faucet installation. They have not done a very good job installing this fixtures.

I did not use this company because they told me that I was not eligible for a 5K discount with the NJ state program. All of the other companies that came to the house for an estimate said I was eligible for the discount.

They were very good. Our experience with them went very well. They came right away. I thought the guy was terrific and they came back and checked up on it. We've just haven't had any problems.

They only gave me a ballpark figure and I just decided because of some other circumstances not to go with them so I didn't follow through with them. I felt that they were misrepresenting the problem that I had and so that's why when the other company came out and said that I didn't have a problem with it and he showed me everything, I decided not to go with them I decided not to go with them. The guy from Hutchinson was saying that something was really wrong when in fact it wasn't. I think it was more like that they were telling me that I had this major problem and therefore I needed a new heater when in fact, the problem that I had could have been repaired at a much more economical cost. They were responsive to my needs but I don't think they were being totally honest with me.

They showed up right at 8:00 sharp like they said they would--in fact, they were sitting outside and waited until 8:00 to knock on the door. Very professional and thorough and was a pleasure to deal with. Cleaned up well afterwards.

We were very satisfied. We have actually used them for years. They are really easily available. If you need them quickly, they are usually able to come. They are always on time and are very professional. They are not the cheapest but they are good.

Never called never emailed...even though I emailed through the List.

Frankly, my sales experience with the Hutchinson representative was one of the worst I have ever had. The in house support staff was very courteous, but my sales person that came to my house was the poster boy as to and quot;How not to Interact with a client.and quot; He was condescending and arrogant in his tone. I never got a written estimate, even after I followed up with him (Shouldn't the sales person be following up with me?). He approached me like a and quot;badand quot; (some are good) used car sales person. When I asked him how much something would cost, he replied, and quot;How much are you budgeted to pay?and quot; I mean, I can see someone saying that in the beginning, but I felt like he was always trying to raise his price up on me depending on what I budgeted. Everyone else gave me a straight answer. I ended up going with Doug Wong from BC Express out of Toms River. He was not only the most knowledgeable HVAC guy I spoke to, but he was a straight shooter that followed up on every detail to my satisfaction.

.I ended up with a major clog that flooded my bathroom......turned out the clog was located by the next day. It was found to be in the sewer line that leads to the street. It was a bad experience because the first plumber that showed up was very impatient and not friendly. And the next guy wasn't any better. A friendly and empathetic personality goes a long way, especially when you're unable to flush!

Called for a estimate, they were very courteous over the phone.

I called the company in late spring of 2011 to get the proposal. Over the next several months I had many questions regarding the scope of work both in general and specific to the installation before I would commit to the project. Toward the end of the summer we decided to go forward with the project. After signing the contracts and scheduling the project, the rep said that the installation would take only one day. Although I was surprised that they would schedule so much work for one day the actual performance went according to plan. You could tell that Hutchinson and their sub for insulation/sealing had a great deal of experience. Overall the project proceeded according to the proposal: on time, on budget and as expected.
