Description of Work: Several repairs done to 6 year old AC unit and ultimately they recommended a new unit for $6-$8k. Ridiculous! I went somewhere else and had great service and such and only cost me $5k for a unit that has an excellent reputation. Hutchinson is too expensive!

Description of Work: paul was very easy to talk to very helpful in teaching us what heating and a/c units would benefit our house.

Description of Work: They want to charge 99 dollars for an estimate. They must not have much confidence in their estimates. How nice it must be to make money by just telling people how much it will cost!

Description of Work: My heater wasn't working right and Hutchinson Plumbing Heating Cooling came, cleaned it and serviced it. There was nothing wrong with it, it just needed to be serviced.

Description of Work: Hutchinson came by to provide a. estimate for replacing my central air conditioning system that recently broke down. The sales associate was arrived promptly and was very thorough in her review. Her recommendations were consistent with the other contractors. However, at the end of the day, Hutchinson's estimate was somewhat significantly outside the range of other contractors. While I am sure they would do an excellent job, I couldn't rationalize spending almost double.

Description of Work: BEWARE: This company charges a service fee for coming to your location. I wanted a quote for a new system. I was told that they charge $99.00 for them to come out and give me a quote on a new system. I was shocked. I even called back to confirm that this was the policy. I asked the rep., if I bought the unit from them would they deduct the $99.00. After a few minutes on hold, I was told yes. I personally think it is crazy that they charge you money to come out and to give you a quote. I personally have never heard of this practice.
