Installation did not go well. Installers did not speak English so we could not communicate with them. They didn’t clean up nails and scraps until after the third day, so nails were in the lawn and bushes, and on sidewalks and the driveway. Even after two “final cleanups” we were still finding nails everywhere. Unfortunately I missed one nail on the driveway and got a flat tire on my bicycle tire. The installers also ripped 12 window screens, covered my dryer vent with siding and knocked out a 6”chunk of masonry which they attempted to cover up with flashing and siding. Unfortunately the siding had to be removed so a proper repair could be made. I definitely would not recommend Home Genius Exteriors to my friends and neighbors.

The job went exceptionally well and my project manager was a huge help in assisting during the project.

Had roof replaced in January. Now June and roof shingles are buckling so bad can literally stick my hand in the gap!!!

Company is horrible, their salesmen are the worse. He was very pushy and asking personal questions. Wouldn’t give me time to go over financials and make sure I was making the right decision. Kept saying this has to get signed right now. The initial quote was absolutely absurd. The communication within the company must be horrible as well. There was a salesman that kept harassing me even days after the project was completed. Then the workers were peeing all over my property, just a few feet away from my daughter’s window. Luckily for him my children weren’t home at the time. The only good thing I have to say is the guy Chuck was pretty good, but unfortunately (not his fault) not good enough for me to recommend the company. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever and will be making a formal complaint about the workers who are on camera peeing on my property, even after I offered my bathroom to them to use if necessary. 1 star because I can’t give 0

I got a consultation and inspection of my new property and was very pleased with Rachel and Chris' candor and directness. No hitting around the bushes, straight up let me know strengths and weaknesses and helped me better understand where things stand and what I need to do next. Thanks again, Rachel and Chris!

Regarding my previous post, (K. O. 7/26/23) after discussing my issue with the company, the salesperson and company were very responsive to my concerns and identifies and rectified the misunderstanding regarding our billing dispute. They showed great customer service and an ability to work with customer disputes in an amicable way. As far as the actual job they did a great job on the roof and got the job done quickly. As a result, I would recommend the company as a whole again, as I appreciated their ability to address my concerns. I am writing this message because ANGI REVIEWS DEPARTMENT DID NOT delete my last review (as I asked them to). Angi reviews has given me the run around and has made it difficult to redact a poor review that was rectified. I appreciate Home Genius Exteriors willingness and ability accommodate legitimate customer concerns and recommend their work to anyone interested.

Wonderful service from the beginning, polite and considerate, did exactly what we asked. Worked with us with our monthly payment plan. Follow up was excellent from staff members. No down payment was required to perform job

To Whom It May Concern: As in my previous review with my first house, HGE roof and gutters comes highly recommended! Especially for anyone who has had to contend with contractor "ghosting"! In our experience, HGE "hit it out of the park" on the my first and then again on the second house a week later! The professionalism and workmanship of the roofing and gutter team, was top of the line. They wrapped up in a couple of days, fulfilling on their promised - "turn-around", delivering a high quality roof and gutter system. We couldn't be more pleased with the results at both homes! Where we did have an issue, HGE's Project Coordinator Emily D. owned the problem through to resolution! There was some driveway damage when the dumpster was delivered at the second home. And when I sent the picture to Emily D. she jumped on it and over a few weeks, coordinated between the dumpster and asphalt companies until repair was scheduled and completed to our satisfaction. In summary, it was truly a pleasure to meet with Matt C. for the preliminary assessment and contracting for both projects. He is an avid professional who confidently and tactfully shared product and company information; the HGE and Owens-Corning product and the workmanship warrantees. The logistics were expertly coordinated by Emily D., her particular professionalism and work ethic. As noted, she went "above an beyond" to ensure customer satisfaction, getting the driveway damage resolved, keeping us informed through-out, so our concerns were at a minimum through completion of the repair work. Again, the construction work/clean-up commenced under the lead of Mike B./Project Manager. The best part, No Contractor nightmares and where there were issues, HGE owned it!

Highly recommended to anyone who has had to the misfortune of contending with the all too common contractor nightmares! In the end, it was hard not to move forward especially with the "no money down" aspect of the contract! The roof on the first property in Easton was in poor shape, clearly long overdue for an overhaul. We knew it was going to be a major undertaking. And so going into it, I was nervous, expecting the worse and really not looking forward to dealing with disappearing contractors. So I posted the work in Angi and waited, monitoring responses for a few months. The most persistent was Home Genius Exteriors (as you might gather from the other reviews). We considered it an investment in the home and with a little reinforcement of some BBB research, we were good to go. We made the appointment and what we walked away with was comfort, trust and confidence. The negotiations were reasonable, straightforward and in my opinion, fairly priced. HGE fulfilled on on their promised - "one day turn-around" and delivered a high quality roof and gutter system. We couldn't be more pleased with the results! So pleased in fact, we booked HGE for a second property in Schnecksville! In summary, it was truly a pleasure to meet with Matt C. for the preliminary assessment and contracting for both projects. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Ordered 10 windows April ‘22. Told 10 weeks for delivery. Over 4 months later windows came in, 6 were sized incorrectly(manufacturers error) and one was cracked during installation. Caulking job inside was sloppy & they left us with a clear glass window inside a shower (supposed to be frosted) for over two weeks before returning to apply a privacy coating. Then we were told 5 weeks for correct windows to be delivered. It is now end of November and no new windows installed. The manufacturer has been incompetent and getting answers/updates is a nightmare. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED WINDOWS.

As a prior female employee for Home Genius Exteriors, I can say with absolute disgust that there is no regard for the well being, safety, and comfortability of any of the workers, especially female workers. I personally was sexually harassed by a fellow co-worker and when I brought the information to my manager (I had to report it to my manger because Home Genius Exteriors believes an HR is unimportant to have within a company) he laughed in my face and proceeded to ask me countless questions to try and pin the blame of the assault on me. He also attempted to excuse the man’s actions towards me by claiming that, and I quote, “Everyone sleeps with everyone in this job field”. Disgusting. He then ended the conversation of the assault by threatening to fire me if I didn’t begin excelling at the job. He fired me 5 days following the incident. A good manager would have offered to help me grow and do better at the job through words of advice, encouragement, and constructive criticism. Not terminate me from the job on only my 3rd week as a worker. Although I lost my job, the man who assaulted me in the work place still remains an active and PRAISED worker, simply for his ability to do the job well, regardless if he is shady. I wasn't his only victim either. Countless other women approached me before my termination and told me their stories regarding how that man made them feel extremely uncomfortable. Home Genius Exteriors protects and ignores sexual harassment in the work place. I’d also like to add that within the month or so that I worked for Home Genius Exteriors, I witnessed the termination and replacement of about 15 employees. In this company, no one’s job is secure. Home Genius Exteriors loves to sell incoming employees with the idea of growing within the company, but the truth is, they will never keep you that long to reach positions of higher roles. The moment the manager feels as though someone can do better than you, you are terminated without warning and without any chances for improvement. Employees are nothing but expendable chess pieces to Home Genius Exteriors. Another thing I should add is, all the company reviews that are found on Google are FAKE. They have an entire team that generates satire reviews on a weekly basis to seem like a “great company”. Don’t fall for Home Genius’s deceptions. It will not end in your favor. Overall, Home Genius Exteriors was a terrible environment to work in. They feed everyone lies and the management is horrendous. If you want a secure job, this is not the place to go.

The crew was very good and the overall process was smooth and fast. John the project manager walked me around afterwards and answered any questions that I had. He also swept for nails after the crew had already done so. Would definitely recommend

Hudson came out and explained everything that I need For new windows!! Other than my own insecurities for getting them done quickly, I thought the prices were reasonable. He was friendly and patient!! I will definitely consider using them for the job I need done for my wondows.

Sam was amazing to work with very professional and explained everything in great details, showed up on time went throughout the whole house very thoroughly.

We had a great experience with Hudson, who came to the house to give us an estimate on replacement windows. He did a thorough inspection of our current windows, showed us the products his company sells, and explained the warranties and the installation progress very well. This seems like a company that really cares about their customers. We are seriously considering hiring them based on this great estimate visit.

I Received Several Roofer Estimates in 2021 and they all Asked Me About My "Attic" and then Wrote Me out An Estimate for New Roof. I then received A Visit & Estimate from Kyle from the Delaware County office of Home Genius Exteriors. He too Asked Me about My Attic, But had the "Nerve & Guts" to grab his Ladder & Climb & Crawl through My "Attic" to do a Thorough Inspection". "Who Does That".!!! Then Afterward gave Me a Mini Lesson on the Importance of Checking the Attic before Starting New Roof. I even Learned about "Attic Ventilation" Who Knew?!!!!! More that Excited & Happy to Get My " New Roof" done by Home Genius Exteriors In Bala Cynwd PA

They provided a professional estimate. I would have liked more options and interaction with them.

The whole process went great. I'll be honest, the price was a little more than we expected when we first got the estimate, but we didn't even bother with a 2nd or 3rd estimate because I could tell right away that we were going to get a high quality job. We got the airflow system and all. I was kept well-informed of when the team was going to arrive, when the dumpster was going to be dropped off, and when they needed to come back to finish a few planned follow-up things. The team that did the actual roof replacement was right on time, did an outstanding job, made themselves available if we had any questions, and did an excellent job of cleaning up. Their Production Coordinator also did an excellent job and responded immediately to any questions we had. When the job was finished, we were given a complete walk-though of what they did. I have heard horror stories about roofers not showing up, not finishing the job, not cleaning up properly, etc. There was no need for any worry with this team and I would 100% recommend them for the peace of mind and a guaranteed excellent roof replacement.

My review is based on the quote/estimate process. It was awful. A salesperson will spend over 2 hours with you, not leave you with a scrap of literature/business card/written estimate. After wasting 2 hours for a quote that was 2-3x higher than the 4 other competitors that I met with, I have yet to receive an electronic quote or email with the details I asked. I cannot fathom anyone who would hire this company after that experience. I am sticking with a roofing company, where the salesperson was a roofer and moved into PM, not a young person who never got on a roof going through a sales pitch. Also, I was told that they had just the product needed to improve my attic ventilation, but it was just part of the overall sales process. When I asked for advice on a specific roof issue, no answer could be given. The person was educated only on the sales pitch, nothing else. Finally, the saleswoman went out to her car no less than 4 times during the 2 hours to retrieve something. Sometimes she left her Ipad on my table and I was convinced I was being recorded. A very dissatisfying experience overall.

Things went smooth, there was a different crews for each part. John the project manager kept me informed all the way and made great suggestions. It came out better than I had anticipated and I am very happy with the service. The whole process went smooth.

Casey, Mike and John did a great job coordinating and executing the job on time and on budget!

Austin and Sam met with us and went over the whole scope of our job which is a very extensive whole home remodel. We haven’t had work done with them but just meeting with them and getting an estimate was such a wonderful experience! They were very professional, responsive to all of our needs, very on time and really listened! I highly recommend them to help with your exterior home needs!
