Description of Work: We got a preliminary price over the phone for two floors (800 sf each) and two staircases. The price only went up a little when he looked at the floors because they had paint on them which is harder to remove (we knew this might be the case). |Overall, they saved our 130 year old floors and restored them to their original condition. They look better than we could have ever imagined! They are magicians with old hardwood and saved areas we thought couldn't be saved. They even secured many squeaky boards, which we didn't know was included! And, they finished a day early. Since we were out of town, he texted us a few photos! Truly above and beyond. |

Description of Work: Henry is tremendous- always responsive, on time and high quality work. He has refinished our whole second floor including some reconstruction work and we could not be happier. This time, two bedrooms.

Description of Work: Floors refinished in my living room, dining room, kitchen, and rear stair treads. They also patch-repaired two sections of hardwood flooring - one more of a fancy parquet floor, the other a tongue-and-groove subfloor turned finish floor. I already had the spare flooring on hand to use for the patch repairs. They then sanded all surfaces down to bare wood, re-stained them & applied three coats of polyurethane to the new surfaces. Floors couldn't look more beautiful in all three rooms that they worked on! Patch repairs are all seamless. I will definitely call Henry and crew again to work on my second and third floors in my historic house - worth every penny and money well spent!

Description of Work: Henry and his team did a fantastic job refinishing our wood floors. Where boards needed to be replaced, he found them, even though the floor was almost 40 years old. He was on time, and worked just as hard as his team. Overall, a fantastic job!

Description of Work: Repaired hardwood floor in master bedroom which was the result of two bedrooms made into one, both of which had hardwood flooring. Then refinished master bedroom floor along with two other bedrooms, hallway and stairs. Three coats of polyurethane were applied. The work spanned three days. I am very satified with the result. Henry and his crew were fast and efficient and care was taken to shield the rest of the house from dust.

Description of Work: Henry was amazing, and so was his crew. I had a new floor installed in my kitchen over top of a existing floor. Henry and his crew as sanded and refinished my dining room, living room, steps going to the second floor, and also two back bedrooms. His price could not be matched by any other competitor. When I say he did amazon work, it is a complete understatement. The floors in our house gave me splinters the night before he started and now they are absolutely gorgeous. Description of Work: Due to the high rating on Angie's list I called for an estimate on refinisihing hardwood staircase and possible replacing steps. He said he was too busy to deal with steps and I should call someone closer who could fit this job in among other jobs they were doing - even though I live less than 10 minutes away. Said he couldn't be bothered doing steps if I wasn't getting a floor refinished. When I asked if he could refer me he told me to look in the phone book. He seemed surprised that he was listed on Angie's list.

Description of Work: Henry is pleasant and arrived on time for both an estimate and to do the work. I had obtained other estimates and found his quote very good. He and his assistants worked hard and did a great job on the hardwood floors - fixing some areas and resanding and coating two rooms. He used an oil based product for the coating which tends to cause an odor for a few days, rather than the water based preparations that seem to have less odor. I was very pleased with his work and price and would use him again.
