He replaced my deteriorated gutter guards and took care of some problems caused by a previous roofing job. His price was reasonable he was very knowledgeable and his years of experience really showed.

+ -1 moreIf you don't mind being judged and insulted by the service people you hire go ahead and hire this company. There was a note on our invoice - "this was a disgrace". I'm not disputing that our gutters were very clogged but come on! It must be wonderful to have achieved such perfection in all aspects of one's life that they feel they have the right to diss a CUSTOMER in writing. I'm not sure what the going rate for cleaning gutters is but the $280.00 charge for a 2 story (admittedly fairly large) home is seems pretty compensatory for the horrible experience they had.

+ -1 moreA little tough to get outside work completed this year because of the erratic weather, but once he got here work was done quickly and so far looks great. Chris always returned my calls or texts, and gave the best price out of all the companies I called. He was honest about what needed replacing and how he would go about it. I would certainly call him again for future Gutter repair or replacement.

+ -1 moreI found Gutters by Gary through Angie's List. I emailed via the website and Chris replied within hours. The next day he called me and said that he would be able to stop by and take a look. He gave me upfront the options and pricing for cleaning. It turns out the level of the gutters was fine, they were just clogged. With a thorough cleaning, it was a quick process. I will be scheduling for them to come back every six months for ongoing maintenance!
Description of Work: I thought my gutter needed to be repaired because water was coming off the wrong end (the one without a downspout).

I was worried that it would be a problem since my house is very tall and I have been at my house 20 years and never had them cleaned. I was concerned that I would need replacments. He came out and did the work while I was at work and left me the bill. The price was as agreed upon and very reasonable.

Description of Work: Chris from Guttering by Gary came out to clean the gutters on my 3 story Victorian home. He was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. I have not owned the house for very long and he informed me of some areas that were not necessarily done correctly. He said to see how the gutters perform over the next few rains before doing any remediation work. I appreciated that he pointed out the problems but did not pressure me into correcting the work before seeing what happens now that the gutters have been cleaned. We are expected to get some heavy rain over the next few days so we shall see!

Description of Work: I called them to talk about some damage to my gutters that happened as a result of the recent blizzard. I got a call back an hour later that they were at my house, assessed the damage and could do the work right then. I ok'd the work and it was completed before I got home from work that day. Doesn't get much faster than that.

He did the work the next week and also told me that there were problems with the roof. After I had the roof replaced he came back to check on the gutter guards to see that the roofers replaced them properly. Great service.

Description of Work: He came out to do an estimate and we agreed on a price on the spot. He wanted to do the work later that same week, but I told him I would get back to him because I wasn't ready yet. I guess he was put off by that because when I called him a few weeks later he said he was too busy now. I called back numerous times asking him to do the work and he kept blowing me off so I finally gave up. I can't speak to the quality of his work, but in my opinion he was unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend him to others.

+ 0 moreI called Gary, he comes over and we reviewed repairs and such. He then gives me options and we select the one for the job. I was not at home when he completed the project (repairs and cleaning) but I had no problems with water issues as hurricane Irene dumped a ton of rain in my area.
Description of Work: The costs included gutter cleaning and some major repairs. Been using Guttering by Gary for years and he does a great job. Not had any basement water issue since I have been using him. If I do see an issues with the gutters after his service I call him and comes back to correct the issue to my satisfaction. He's also just a nice guy to do business with.

I left a message with the service and received a prompt call back the same day. They worked with my schedule and finished the job in a timely manner, cleanly and efficiently. Our bill was exactly the same as the estimate that we were quoted, with no hidden fees, and we were also very pleased with the warranty provided. They were very professional and took pride in doing the best job possible. They left my home free of debris, taking all old and unused materials when they left. We recommend Gutterimg by Gary and will definitely use them for any future gutter maintenance that our home might require. A+!!!
Description of Work: After dealing with extensive water damage to our basement, a friend suggested we call a gutter company to evaluate the situation. Guttering by Gary came out, evaluated the damage, inspected the existing gutters and downspouts and gave a full estimate. It was determined that we had insufficient downspouts to handle the water volume. We also had gutters in various stages of disrepair. It was suggested that we replace our gutters, downspouts and install gutter guards due to the amount of trees and debris. We were given quotes on the costs involved both with and without gutter guards and didn't feel pressured into buying what we couldn't afford. Gutters were replaced with gutter guards, downspouts installed and all of the old materials removed. We were also provided with a warranty for materials and installation. An A+ job all around!

Description of Work: Called for an estimate. The first call back was a very rude person who called very early in the morning. The next contact I left my address and requested a return call from a manager. No call back from anybody, but someone did show on my doorstep unannounced. I did get the estimate, but told the person that I needed to get more estimates. Follow-up call was rude again and very abrupt. Gave job to another contractor, even though the price was a bit higher.

He moved one of the down spouts to a better location. All materials were cleaned up afterwards. He even let me know that there were some soft spots on the roof and that I should have it replaced.
