The windows are definitely good quality and insulate much better than the replacement windows we had installed about 10 years ago for these windows. Those who came out to estimate and measure and to install were courteous, helpful, and professional. My only suggestion would be for the window company used - and that would be that written illustrated instructions be provided for removing panes, cleaning, etc. These were not available from the service provider or from the company's website. This should be a standard item with such windows.

I found Cosello Contruction on Angie's List. Not knowing much about window replacement, Andrew (the owner) explained the job and answered all our questions. He was always very responsive, especially through texting which we preferred, and was always on time. The job included replacing 22 old aluminum windows, new entry doors plus new window sills and all the exterior capping. The job was completed in 2 days and we are extremely happy with their workmanship & professionalism. Andrew was onsite and supervised the job. I would highly recommend hiring Cosello Construction.

Andrew Cosello was on time for the estimate and his workers were on time, even slightly early, for doing the work. Andrew responded quickly to my emailed questions. He and his workers were courteous and helpful. The finished windows and trim work look professional and we're very happy with the results. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves when the work was finished (which means a lot to me). We had gotten a quote for the same work from another contractor and his estimate was over $3,000.00 more. I had checked out Cosello on the Better Business Bureau website and Angie's List and was hopeful with what I saw on there that they would do good work...and they did! We would definitely use Cosello for future windows, as well as other house projects. I had asked if they would come out for smaller projects and they said they would, which is good to know. It is often hard to find contractors willing to do the smaller jobs.

Everything came out beautifully. Andrew and everyone who worked for Cosello Construction during our project were extremely friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. This started at the beginning of the project and continued throughout. For example, at the start of the project, we were thinking we wanted a separate shower, bathtub, and double vanity in our bathroom. We were pretty set on it at first but Andrew went with us to measure how everything would look in the bathroom and spent a lot of time discussing with us what we wanted and how we would use the bathroom on a daily basis. He made the recommendation of an oversized tub/shower combination with tiling on the walls and tub apron as well as a linen closet, which would solve our need for additional storage space for towels. He was completely right! We got the look of an all tile shower with the convenience of a bathtub and hand shower attachment. We love showering and bathing with our rainfall shower head and regular/handheld shower head combination now. Andrew was also able to recommend quality dealers of tiles and bath materials which was key for me because we wanted our general contractor to be a resource as a one stop solution not be out on our own. Andrew and his team were also very flexible. For instance, we had picked out a color for our bathroom. After a wall was done, we weren't so sure any more. Andrew's painter, even knowing we might ultimately change the color, causing more work, proposed to paint another wall so we could see more of it done before we made our final decision. It worked and once we saw the bigger section painted, we knew we had made the right choice after all. But at no point did anyone make us feel bad for the fact we might change the paint color. Another instance of this was with our deck. For most of the time, we had told Andrew we just wanted to replace landing-size "deck." After going back and forth in our family we decided to go with a true, big deck. Poor Andrew because we must have flip-flopped on the decision three or four times, telling him one thing then the other. He never made it seem like an issue or annoying to him. Once we made the true final decision, he got right to work on all of the things that needed to be done for a bigger deck, such as different permits and an architectural drawing, and yet he was still ale to install the deck before we had our son's first birthday party at home. This was great since the delay had been all ours in deciding what we wanted, and everyone loved the deck and commented on how great it was at the party. Two things that are probably underrated or not as well appreciated when selecting a contractor are how responsive they are and how clear workers leave the work site. We had a fabulous experience on both from Cosello Construction. Andrew responded to phone calls and emails right away, as did members of the team we worked with, and from the estimate phase through completion, they were always there when we needed them, to provide updates, and answer questions. Andrew spent a significant amount of time on the phone with our tile and supplies providers to make sure the orders were right before they were delivered. With regard to cleanliness, it is something you really never tend to think about unless it is not done or you hear a horror story about what happened to someone else. The highest praise I can give to Cosello Construction is that we never once though about the cleanliness of our house or yard. Every day the team laid a drop cloth on the stairs and areas of passage to our bathroom to stop any stray foot prints, kept dirt and dust confined the construction area, and by the time they left everything was as if they had never been there. Even during construction, we were able to walk into the areas without issue because they kept such a clean place of work. This is doubly important with young kids who can accidentally stray where they are not supposed to be. In all, thank you Cosello Construction. We highly recommend you.

Andrew came out to give us an estimate for window and door replacement/installation. He was nice and didn't waste our time with a lengthy sales pitch. He left giving us a time frame of about a week for the estimate to be ready...that was the last time we heard from him. No email, no phone call, nothing. Make of that what you will.

Feel free to email us at cosello@comcast.net or call our office at 856-317-1770 so we can send you the requested estimate. Very poorly. We never saw Andrew again after we signed the contract and he collected the 30% down payment. The team he sent caused a major leak while installing the tub-then Andrew tried to charge us 1200$ when we demanded the wall to be opened to make sure there was no mold issue because of the leak. The sink faucet they installed leaked and the the tub faucet is now leaking. The heated floor control panel was installed improperly and a new electrician had to come twice and fix it. We were told it was a fire hazard because the wires were melted . The marble mosaic floor was laid completely unevenly. We asked for them to fix pieces we saw, which they did, but the whole floor is installed completely poorly. Andrew kept adding costs to the project the whole time, and asking for payment ahead of the schedule outlined in the contract. Finally, Andrew would not order the shower door which was included in the contract stating that it was a custom item, because he wanted final Payment for the bathroom which was supposed to be paid upon completion. He claimed it was a custom item and custom items needed to be paid in full . So here we are, having paid an electrician to fix the heated floor and scheduling a plumber to fix the multiple leaking fixtures, and paying for shower doors that were included in the 19,000$ we paid Andrew. We feel lucky our home didn't burn down during this process or that the leak didn't go through the ceiling into our family room. We are extremely upset and disappointed and feel taken advantage of by this company.

I was present every morning for weeks as I am with every renovation. To be clear, you were never there. A leak occurred overnight and dripped to the exterior of the home. When you insisted we open it up, we did so and uncovered major, structural damage caused by the gutters being backed up. For the record, there was no damage caused by the tub leak.(See pictures attached of years of rotting wood) Therefore, the charge was for us to do the repairs and close up the wall. Just because your insurance company denied your claim does not mean we must work for free. These were legitimate charges for repairs that were not caused by us. In regards, to the electric, I cannot comment on the thermostat for the heated flooring due to the fact you had a 3rd party come out and install a different thermostat. So I'm assuming whatever you are saying is exaggerated, similar to your leak claim - simply to make us look bad. In addition, to comment on the cost, we refused to provide a custom shower door due to the fact you have refused to pay for thousands of dollars worth of change orders. The total contract amount is $24,625. To date, you have paid $18,830. There is currently an outstanding balance of $5,795. As soon as we receive the balance, we will arrange the installation of your custom shower door. Thank you. Pictures: https://web.mail.comcast.net/h/viewimages?id=285836

I got two quotes for these services and Cosello's was the best. The pricing for the services was very fair. They used a quality replacement window product that fit our budget. Andrew explained exactly how the job would go once started. They showed up when promised and completed the job in two days. They maintained a clean worksite and removed all trash and old materials upon their departure. I can't say enough about their professionalism. I would certainly recommend them and also use them for future projects, if needed.

All the details are above. We declined to continue working with Andrew Cosello. His original contract was worthless.
Description of Work: Andrew Cosello came in the early summer to look at the job. The job was to repair an outside wall on the third floor and to remove the outside wall of an adjacent wall as well as replace a door to the outside. When Andrew came he was courteous, but I was surprised that he didn't look under the tarp covering the wall from which metal sheathing had been removed by a mason. (The mason was unable to rebuild the wall because there was wooden structure and no original brick.) Also, the wall had a small width of roof next to it on which the workers could stand. The mason's workmen had built a fence for their protection. Andrew gave a bid of $5,490. We signed a contract on July 7, 2015 at my house. The work was to take place in 6-8 weeks. When Andrew Cosello's two workmen came on 10/15/15 they put up ladders, one on the roof of my neighbor's house with his permission. They looked under the tarp and left. Andrew then told me the work was going to cost an additional $3,697. This estimate included the words "install approx. 32 sq ft of 2x4s; install new 1/2"plywood sheathing; install new 5/4 furring strips to pack out with rear wall; install all safety harnesses as required; patch all holes as required in roof due to temporary set up; reinsulate as needed." Apparently, Andrew neglected to include in the contract the true cot of the job.

The contract for $5,490 is for demo of existing siding, installation of vapor barrier, installation of Certainteed Cedar Impressions siding, capping of windows, new perimeter drip cap and new custom ordered door. All of which, was priced accordingly, fairly and agreed to by you. The rotted wood you are referring to is an unforeseen item some 40+ feet in the air on your home. We were not aware of the rotted wood or the extent of any damage and you never once mentioned it. Any unforeseen items, that we can not possible quote initially, will be in addition to the original contract.

Paul and Omar were not just workers, they cared about our vision for the bathroom. Tiles were done with great effort in bathroom. Andrew Cosello was in and out during process, and there were some glitches in communication, as we brought in an interior decorator adviser after hiring Cosello. But they worked out those glitches always with our goals in mind, and handled all the curveballs well. bottom line is the work was meticulously and conscientiously done and we are enjoying it all right now. so yeah, I would recommend them highly.

I don't want to give and F so I chose D. I really had high hopes for this company. I have been trying for almost a week to get in touch with someone to come out to my house for a job that could potentially cost $40,000+ in cash still waiting on a call back and email. I guess the company is busy (which could be a good thing) but at least have the decency to call and make me aware of that. Any type of communication would have been great.

We do not have any record of your voicemail or email. We treat each and every one of our customers and potential customers the same. Whether we see us as a good fit for your project or not, we always respond either by email or phone. If,in fact, it turns out we just can not accommodate the homeowner with our services, we always communicate to them and provide them with an alternative solution. Often times, homeowners reach out to so many different contractors that they can't keep track of who they spoke with and who never returned their call. Perhaps, this is the case in this instance. You may have us mistaken for someone else. Or if you did email us, please forward us the email. If we have something wrong with our server, we'd like that brought to our attention. Whatever the case, we'd be more then happy to meet with you to discuss your project. Please contact Cosello Construction Inc. at 856-317-1770 or email us at cosello@comcast.net.

I contacted Andrew about the project and explained the status of the project and that it related to a renovation mortgage. He was very amiable and schedule to visit to get a better understanding of the scope of the project. After walking through the house he asked additional information on the scope and the status of the budget, to better prepare a proposal. I sent the information in the following days and on January 2nd received a reply that although considering an interesting project he would have to decline due to some specific circumstances. I very much appreciate his honesty and professionalism in being upfront even though he decided not to take on our renovation.

Thank you so much for your review. It is so nice to be acknowledged for our honesty, integrity and professionalism. We first want to note that this project is exactly the type of project we handle and there are no circumstances on our end that would prevent us from completing such a project. However, the current state of the project would prevent any legitimate, experienced contractor such as Cosello Construction to move forward without tearing out and redoing the incorrect work already done by the current GC. In doing so, the owner would incur additional cost to bring the job up to code and completion. We feel at this time, there needs to be a conversation or action taking up with current GC to either recoup the money already spent on the incorrect work or have the GC correct the issues before moving forward. It's not right or ethical for this GC to get away with performing such work and it's not fair for this owner to have to pay more money to correct the issues. We have no problem continuing the conversation, setting up additional meetings with our engineer and doing what we do right - providing quality, professional work, making sure structures are legal, and understanding and complying with all relevant safety codes and regulations, which is clearly missing from the current GCs repertoire. Best, Andrew M. Cosello President

He was kind enough to work around our schedule. We were having new siding put on and wanted the door to be installed beforehand. Andrew came out to our house 6 weeks ago to find out about our project, prior to creating a proposal. Andrew listened carefully before offering solutions. When prompted, Andrew offered some clever insights into how we could best achieve the best outcome with regard to the project. At no point did I feel pressured. If anything, I had the sense he wanted to ensure the project was a good fit for all parties. I appreciate this as some contractors will go outside their area of expertise in order to get the job, only to disappoint later. Andrew suggested, double hung windows, outlined how the work would be completed which involved cutting through block, brick, insulation and sheet rock prior to framing the window openings, installing the premium Plygem windows, insulating, wrapping, creating sills on both sides(brick and wood) etc. In all honesty, Cosello blew us away in terms of execution, neatness, respectful crew, timeliness. Without exaggeration, Cosello over delivered. Our room looks super(albeit we still need the floors to be finished, painted etc.). Last Friday, after Cosello had been paid in full, Andrew unsolicited, sent over two of his men to ensure the work site was pristine and make sure all sanding had been completed satisfactorily. They even replaced a part of a door that had been broken during the project, even though I had not asked them to(it was on its last legs). I would use Cosello again in a heartbeat. In fact, friends are in the process of contacting them to ask them to bid on a very high end kitchen remodel. Cosello are professional to a fault, diligent, pleasant to work with and as honest as the day is long.

We hired Cosello Construction to completely remodel a large one bathroom/laundry room and construct two full bathrooms/laundry room (including replacing kitchen ceiling below and fascia on the external perimeter). Andrew and his crew took this large project and completed it exactly in accordance with the design, on budget, and on schedule (approximately eight weeks). They were also very accommodating to small changes and add-ons during the process. Taking into account that it was our only bathroom, they were able to complete this with little disruption. We were never displaced and they fully cleaned the work area every day. It was a pleasure working with Andrew and his team and we will definitely use Cosello Construction for future projects.
