Joe Bibbo was a complete professional with no pressure to use his company during the phase for planning and shopping around for a contractor. Out of 3 finalists he was the only one who made repeated visits to our home to go over estimates and costs, remeasure and he even came out on his days off. His pricing was extremely fair and his time line for the duration of the job was only interrupted by Hurricane Sandy. Joe's estimate was 1 and 1/2 to 2 months to complete the job. He began the 1st week in October and finished up on December 18th. Joe was extremely courteous, friendly and very professional. He and his crew were constantly respectful of your home and any possessions that could not be removed. They were extremely cautious in the moving and covering of possessions during the entire construction period. All work was done in phases, painting, floors, tiles, plumbing electric. Along the way Joe and his crew were meticulous and alway strove for perfection. Any imperfections, even the slightest ones were reworked until we were completely satisifed. Do remove all wall items and as much furniture as possible it made the construction go smoother. Bibbo builders even helped me put back some pieces of furniture on their own with no costs attached. Overall my wife and I were extremely pleased with the quality and professionalism of the workmanship. We were completely satisfied from start to finish. Joe Bibbo pledged to return if we ever incounter any problems with his work. Joe is a gracious friendly individual and it was a pleasure to work with him and his crew. My wife and I give Bibbo Builders a definite A+++ and would recommend them for any household project.

Very disappointed with Joe and Bibbo Construction.

It took him nearly a month to come out, and it seemed as though he only wanted to give an estimate over the phone as opposed to inspecting the property.

We were exceedingly pleased with the whole experience. Joe (Bibbo) and his team did an outstanding job from start to finish. The most impressive aspect of the job was Joe's commitment to be there (working and/or supervising) thoughout the entire period. They took precaution to protect our hardwood floors as all the supplies (studs, drywall, tools, etc.) were bought into the basement. We had provided a rough draft of the layout we wanted, and Joe was able to interpret and design what we needed. He also advised us a few times when structural requirements would not allow our designs, but always had options for us to consider. Joe was very flexible in allowing me to run my own speaker cables, install my ceiling speakers, and lighting fixtures over the bar area. He did not nickel and dime us when we requested changes to an installation that was already completed. I'm sure we drove him crazy, but he treated us like the customer, and always complied with what we wanted. He did avise us to forego the pool table idea and the workout room (we did not listen), becuase his experience told him they were novelties that would soon wear off. In hindsight, he was 1000% correct - we haven't touched our $5000 pool table or my in-home gym in years! The clean-up was also impressive. Joe made sure all debris was bagged and taken outside, and was very careful not to damage some very fragile glass tiles (on the bar that he installed himself), and electronic equipment in the Home Theater. Overall experience for the "party" basement was extremely positive. I would highly recommend Bibbo Builders for all aspects of home construction. As far as my shed, Joe and his team acted like Amish builders - they had that thing up in 1 week! Once again, they maintained a clean work site and were very professional. My wife and I were actulaly sad to see him finish the job. Joe was a pleasure to have around the house for the few months it took to complete our projects. When we hired Bibbo Bulders back to expand our entryway and install a new front door, he discovered that I had measured incorrectly. He quickly fixed the issue, and covered up my mistake with wood flooring to match the original hardwood floor in the foyer. Another great Bibbo Builders experience.

Since most of my family is in the construction business, I consider myself fairly knowledgeable, even for a woman. So, when they all moved out of state and I had to hire someone, I was pretty nervous about using a stranger. I found Bibbo Builders on your site and am I glad I did! They did a fantastic job and even pointed out areas that saved me money and the end result was super. They are conscientious, meticulous, and went out of their way to be helpful. Will hire them again for any future projects.

He was very reliable, very honest. I love my windows and my new siding. The roofing impressed me very much because I thought that would be the messiest. Everything was left as it was when they got here, except of course for the brand new beautiful roof. He even spent time talking to my husband about suggestions for the house going forward. Very clean, proficient, and professional, which is unusual with construction. He was very refreshing and we had a great experience.

I hired Bibbo Builders to replace my siding and gutters, due to hail damage. Joe Bibbo was punctual for our appointment for an estimate. I received the estimate a few days later and he quoted a competitive price. He was very patient, as we were working with our insurance company. Once we picked out our colors, the work started in about two weeks. There was a two day delay for rain. Once the rain stop, Joe Bibbo and his crew of about a half-dozen workers showed up bright and early, ready to make up for lost time. Joe was on the work site the whole time and worked along side his crew. My semi-nosey, retired neighbor watched the whole job and was impressed with the quality of the workmanship. Joe even left little finishing touches that were great. It took approximately 2 days for the siding, 1 day for gutters and another couple hours for touch-up work. My only gripe is that the clean-up could have been a little better, but I never expected the place to be spotless after such a big job. The work product was great and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

The company advertised a free estimates, but was going to charge me an estimate.I did let them come out. It was not as advertise.

He never showed up. Did call me to inform me he will be 30 minutes late.

All of Joe's recommendations were smart and sound. Did you ever try to pick new windows from the confusing mess of information that is out there? We went with Joe's recommendation, and our energy bill has dropped nearly $200. I'd say Joe's advice was right, wouldn't you? Everyone hears horror stories; none of this happened with Joe. He came every day himself, personally, with at most one helper or a small crew. He worked hard. He supervised every detail. My husband is the PICKIEST MAN ON EARTH -- and Joe made him satisfied and, dare I say, happy. Even when my husband was demanding, Joe was patient and worked with us to give us what we wanted, down to designing windowsills for me (the wife), when it was quite difficult to do. Joe started when he said and finished when he said. With a smaller company, the process may take you a bit longer than if you choose a larger company, but so what? You will get craftsmanship the old fashioned way, and my husband does a lot of his own woodworking, so that kind of personal committment to quality was important to us. My house is beautiful, and looks like a brand-new house, and I'm so happy when I come home every day and see it. That's a gift. So if you're looking for a great experience, great result, and a great guy, we say....call Joe Bibbo NOW.

Excellent work & professional and he was a very clean worker.

Joe Bibbo, the owner of the company, performed the tiling and sheetrock replacement job in our bathroom himself. He brougt in his plumber to replace our faucets and do a part of the job that required working with the pipes. Both of them were highly professional and a delight to deal with. Their pricing is very competitive as well. We will use Bibbo Builders for all future household projects. Joe said they handle pretty much all home remodelling/construction projects except for wall-papering. We recommend them whole heartedly. We love our new bathroom.

When you choose a contractor for a major renovation, you must take into consideration that you will have major involvement with this person and crew over several months, and there will inevitably be some more difficult moments in what can be a stressful process for a homeowner. I interviewed several contractors and chose Joe because I felt that he not only understood what I wanted to accomplish, but he was also someone with whom I could problem solve under pressure. Joe has excellent communication skills and an easygoing personality. I never felt uneasy about either leaving him alone in the house or about being alone in the house with him. He is also great with dogs (I have two large and occasionally obnoxious dogs, so this is a big deal). Whenever something came up in the renovation process, we were able to solve it easily and cordially. There were never arguments about the price or quality of the work that was being done. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone who is planning major renovation work.

We received a quote for a major home renovation and were astounded at the attitude of the owner. When we did not return his call for a few days (he called on Friday, and we returned his call on Tuesday), he left a passive agressive voicemail, accusing us of shopping around and not being serious about the renovation. We were, in fact, doing out due diligence and getting several quotes, though I'm not sure why that would be an issue if he were confident in his work and reputation. Contacting the owner was made more difficult since he does not use a computer, or even have an email address. After all was said and done, his price and knowledge did seem competitive, but his demeanor and lack of ways to contact him put him out of the running.

They did a wonderful job. I would recommend them to anyone!

I was very happy with their work. They were very professional. I could tell they put in a lot of time to prepare the estimate, which I liked. I knew if they took time and effort for the estimate that they would do good work too.

I really had a great experience with them, the contractor preformed wonderful, and was on budget. They would come by on the weekends when I needed them to and they would do additional work without a problem when I asked.

I contacted the owner of Bobbi Builders who did return my call late but apologized for his late response. However, upon learning that I am an out of state property owner, he was emphatic and refused to deal with me. In essence, he will only deal with someone who has property and resides in New Jersey. I would therefore not recommend this contractor for as an out of state property owner, I have come to rely heavily on Angie's List for recommending me to scrupulous contractors to skillfully complete all of my property needs.

Joe responded promptly when I called for an estimate. We did a walk-through and he gave me some suggestions on other areas that needed attention. This was not a "high pressure" sales job - very honest. After I signed the contract, he arrived promptly to do the work as scheduled. His attention to detail makes his work superior! He completed the work as scheduled and threw in "a few extras" at no-charge - something I really appreciated! I consider Joe Bibbo to be a trusworthy craftsman and have already recommended him to friends that are looking for a general contractor.

Joe Bibbo has excellent communication skills and his prices are reasonable. He uses all the proper contract forms and maintains timelines. Joe Bibbo is very knowledgeable in all phases of construction and he has associates in each special area of construction. The most important thing is he does excellent work! I will continue to retain this company for future work. I highly recommend Bibbo Builders.

He did all work exactly how I wanted it to look. I was very happy with everything. There was a lot of attention to detail and he wanted to present the final product to be exactly as I wanted it to be. He had fair prices and does excellent work. I am very impressed with his ability to meet your expectations.
