Jason, Stephen, and Bob were incredibly professional and did a great job at our house. There was virtually no mess left over and while the work was scheduled for two days they finished it in one, staying late to complete the job. They were friendly, informative and great to work with. They were exceptionally responsive to requests for information and we were very happy with the work. Great job!

I looked up and contacted three electricians from Angie's List. The only company to get back to me was Jason Klein, which he did within an hour. He came to my home later that day and inspected my electrical box. He notes that all of my connections were being used, however, instead of trying to upsell me, he was able to research my particular unit and found that he could run the new lines from the existing box. He gave me an estimate on the outlets and when I asked about getting new overhead lights, he told me he would get back to me. Within 24 hours, I had a new estimate for getting 3 outlets installed and replacing my very old overhead light fixtures. On the day the job was scheduled, Jason and his brother showed up exactly as promised and completed the work, which was very neat, very professional and they worked very efficiently. It has been nearly a month and everything is operating as promised. I plan to use Jason and his brother for all future electrical jobs and have already given their information to people. We are very pleased with the work and how friendly, professional and personable the Klein brothers are. Thank you!

We used them and they were pretty good. They were very good at what they were doing. They were keeping us in the loop at every step and had good communication. They kept us informed at every step so that is very good. It is a new house for us so it was good for them to keep us in the loop. They are not the cheapest.

I went with this company due to their stellar rating on Angie's List and couldn't be happier that I did. Both Jason and Steven are true professionals. From the first appointment for them to give us an estimate of the job, they demonstrated everything that you want in a contractor. They were honest, gave VERY helpful advise, showed they were experts in their field and most importantly, proved to my wife and I they had our best interests in mind. On the day of the job, they showed up promptly and did the work efficiently. The work they did was terrific and worth every penny. They were also total gentlemen to my family who were home for part of the day. I highly recommend this company to the Angie's List community and will definitely be using them again for future electrical work in my house.

After we were without power for 10 days because of hurricane Sandy, we decided to get a backup natural gas generator for our home. We went to Angie's List and found Jason Klein Electrical Contractor. From the reviews we read, everyone who dealt with Jason Klein seemed to have been very pleased with them. Based on that, we contacted Jason Klein and after discussions with them, had them install a 20kW generator and transfer switch. We were very pleased to find that all the good things said about Jason in the reviews were true, He and Stephen were always professional, pleasant, courteous and punctual. They did everything that they said that would do and did it when they said they would. Jason and Stephen were easy to talk to and always made sure that we had complete answers to all our questions. Jason was particularly conscientious about dealing with the multiple town inspectors and inspections associated with this installation, always being there for each inspection even though it wasn't required. We're very pleased with how everything turned out, We plan on using Jason Klein Electrical Contractor in the future and have no hesitation recommending them to others.

We found the existing range was hot-wired. We phoned Jason and discussed options. He was extremely helpful in outlining the work that would need to be done. He asked a series of questions over the phone that allowed him to properly estimate the cost of the job (final cost did not waiver from estimate). He was very responsive as we had additional questions leading to up to the completion of work. He was also was timely in notifying that he would be delayed slightly in arriving to perform the work. Would recommend and utilize Jason's services again in the future.

I called Jason on April 7th and explained what I needed done. He said he could come by the very next day. Due to my work schedule we arranged for Fri., April 18th. He and his brother arrived promptly, actually calling to say they would be early. We walked through the house to discuss the job. He offered a quote and started the job immediately. While the description may seem simple, the total job itself took a day due to needing to rewire the bathrooms and install new wiring in the bedrooms. Jason and his brother Stephen were both very polite, considerate of my furniture and floors, using drop cloths and vacuuming after themselves.

Jason and Steven were punctual and had done their research on new thermostats. When they arrived, they covered all our furniture with drop cloths, and when they were finished, they cleaned up thoroughly, even bringing their own vacuum and taking away the trash. They were friendly and professional, working quickly and doing everything they had promised. We would definitely use them again.

They were thorough, friendly, and offered options, that were customer focused. They stressed the safety aspect, so we first dealt with that issue (a shorted wall outlet). They are easy to deal with, and gladly work with your needs, and your budget. They don't nickel and dime you like many of the larger companies. My wife was very comfortable being at home while they were installing lighting. They follow up, and keep their commitment for their appointments. Their estimates were accurate both in terms of time and cost. I will use them again, and would recommend their services. I'm glad I researched them on Angie's list prior to selecting an electrician (I needed one in a hurry).

What a great pleasure it was to work with Jason and his brother. They immediately responded to my inquiries, they let me know when they were going to be a few minutes late, they explained everything in detail, and they were anxious to help with whatever we needed done. They are the standard by which I will measure all electricians if I move away from the area.

They handled every aspic very professionally. From the first phone call to the arrival and delivery of the services they were great. Pricing was very fair and they work quickly and efficiently.

Short Version: Jason and Stephen were great to work with. They were very courteous, punctual, very knowledgeable in what needed to be done to make sure the job was done correctly, and their prices were very reasonable. They went above and beyond in the work they did and I was extremely happy with the result. For as long as they will work on my house I will retain them as my electricians. Long Version: Recently my wife and I had purchased our first house. Following the initial inspection from the sale, there were a list of items the inspector had found that we had agreed to take on ourselves to correct after the sale. As with most homeowners, sometimes finding the right contractor to do the job is a shot in the dark. After reviewing Angie's List, I had selected two electricians I would be calling to give an estimate for work to be done. I had called Jason Klein electric first, and, after speaking with Jason and Stephen directly, I had felt that they seemed very capable and very courteous, and, I felt as long as they showed promise based on the work to be done, I would go with them. They arrived a few minutes earlier than the scheduled time to provide an estimate, and, when I went through the list of items with them in the house, they offered multiple solutions to each item to be corrected, as well as what the concerns were with the items being left the way they were. They were very communicative, courteous, and professional, walking me through the details of what it would take to correct each issue. After going through the entire list of essential items to be done, I then went into a list of items that I felt were nice to haves. They took all of my preferences into consideration, and also gave recommendations on what could be done in the areas I was not sure of. After looking at everything, they then left and contacted me with an estimate for the work the following day. When they came back with the estimate, their prices had been so reasonable that I decided to complete the "nice to haves" at the same time the essential items were to be done. They worked with me on my schedule to get the work done. By the time they had showed up to do the work (they showed up exactly on time), they had instilled enough confidence with me that I allowed them a little liberty in completing the job as long as it was done right. I left them in the house and went off to work. When I returned home that day, they had already completed the work. I was extremely pleased and smiling quite a bit. They had done a phenomenal job and exceeded even what my expectations were. They walked me through all of the work done and also adjusted lighting settings on the dimmers to my preference. Overall very, very happy to have found them. I will be retaining them as the electricians for my home. They are also certified installation professionals for residential generators, which my wife and I will be looking into them installing in the future.

Jason and his brother showed up on time and installed all of the new detectors without any problems. They were professional and neat. They cleaned up as they went along and made sure that I was involved with what they were doing. They made sure that all of the detectors were mounted properly so that each detector covered the existing opening perfectly - no painting needed on my end. They also provided me with a timely estimate for addtional services that I needed in the future. Great job all the way around.

All I can say is WOW - after my regular electrician didn't call me back for a week, I found Jason on Angie's List. Jason and his brother came to give me an estimate the same day and then were able to squeeze in my small job just a few days later. The estimate they provided was very fair (they said it was best to go by the hour since that was the most straightforward way to do it), and I also had them give me an estimate for upgrading my electrical panel since that's something I need to do. When they came to shut down the power, they explained everything to me, marked which wires were still live and explained a few other things they found. They were very professional, clean and neat, and definitely knew what they were doing. They also brought me the written estimate for the panel, which they had previously given verbally. They are a smaller shop, and its great to get personal attention from a qualified electrician. I will definitely be using them again!

These guys did a wonderful job. Very courteous, very upfront and although I asked them to consider replacing all the wiring, they said that the wires were fine the way they were and that they didn't need to replace the wires. That saved me a lot. When it was done, they said they didn't charge me for the last hour and gave me a break on the price.

Love dealing with Klein brothers! I had a pressing repair job that needed to be completed as part of selling our house. They returned my call immediately and made an appointment to come out and assess the cost of the job. I was particularly happy as the job required they clean up an amateur's botched work. The job didn't seem overly difficult but required work in a tight corner of our dark and insulation filled attic. Unpleasant working conditions. It was also ridiculously cold that day, maybe 10 degrees! It would have been easy for them to decline the job. However, yhey assessed the job quickly, gave me a very accurate estimate and finished the job in a relatively short time. Their price was very, very reasonable. Most importantly, Jason and Stephen are lovely to deal with. They are punctual, polite and extraordinarily professional. They were forthright and trustworthy. A pleasure to do business with. Would gladly recommend to friends.

I was extremely satisfied with Jason Klein Electric! My electrician of many years had a back injury and was not able to help. I looked on Angie's List for a substitute and decided to try Jason Klein. I called and spoke to "a live person" - not a voicemail and they were able to come that same evening, to my surprise. Jason and his brother were so pleasant to deal with and the work was done efficiently and quickly. I plan to use them for my future electrical needs.

Excellent service at a very competitive price. Jason and Stephen showed up on time, carefully did the install and left no trace of debris or dirt. They took the time to walk us through the use of the equipment and made it very clear that they would be available at any time to answer any questions after they left. Jason and Steve were a great team. Very responsive, detailed, and listened to any input I had as the customer. They came out and gave a reasonable estimate, scheduled the appointment to come out only a couple days after Christmas, and then finished the work when they said they would. They even followed up with a phone call the next day to see if we were satisfied. I hope to use them again. If only more providers were as easy to work with.
