John is as personable and professional as I could have wanted, and made this experience as painless as possible. Having recently purchased my house with a beautiful deck and, in ground pool, I need to close off the deck completely so that we could keep our daughter from getting in to the pool. I purchased the 3 hours of labor from Angie's List and, after discussing what the end product should be, John made a recommendation of items to purchase to maximize the time he spent working. It was an open dialogue that never seemed to be bother; he always made the time to let me know the best way to do something. We scheduled a date/time and he arrived within 10 minutes of when he said he would, which I see no issues with, as I understand, how traffic can be around the area. When he arrived I showed him the products, the deck, we finalized the plan, and he commenced working. The finished product is exactly what we had in mind, and we could not be happier. He made some recommendations as to how to paint/maintain the deck (which I mentioned in our first conversation was not in scope for this project). He spoke with me, and answered every question I had, and was always professional and courteous. We already spoke about a few other small projects that I had been putting off, and we will be setting up some time in the near future to get those done, which should tell you all you need to know about recommending his services. To explicitly say it, I would absolutely recommend John for any jobs that you haven’t had the time for, and want it done right.

John was very professional, paid attention to details, honest and thorough during the inspection. I would recommend!

It was three hours I believe he was in there, an hour and ten minutes. I spoke to him, I spoke to Angie's List, I spoke to him and you know he was quite upset. I'm still looking for people to do work. Angie's List is just making things difficult for me because it's a guy I hired, giving me more work than I needed to do. Like this DIR, what he did is I gave him a long list of five items. He came to the property he was ten minutes late and he did that laundry list in like an hour and five, ten minutes. There was a building manager on site and he telephoned me to tell me he was there. He called me three times earlier for directions. I don't know what time he got there but when he finished those five items he left. Never called me, never told the building manager anything and I was so disturbed about that because I certainly did want him to do ten items to overwhelm him. These were my priorities. And I thought they would be like any other contractor that I hired and they would call the owner, you know the clientele, to check and see how things went, but he never did that. Honestly I sent them an email stating that the whole encounter was very unprofessional.

He arrived on time. In addition to doing everything I asked, he gave me input on several items that required a specialized company..

I purchased the $95 for 2 hours handyman service through Angielist first for tiling some baseboard tile in my bathroom. Due to some misunderstanding we cannot perform the job that day. I decided to hire him to re-caulk my bathroom instead, and John immediately reschedule a time to come back. John arrived on time and was very courteous and jumped right into the job and finished it flawlessly. At the end we had a good handshake and I am very satisfied. I would definitely hire him again for my other home projects.

The first visit went fine. The second time we confirmed a time and I waited for him. He never showed up, however, and did not pick up his phone or respond to text messages when I tried to get a hold of him.

John, was great! Very personable, honest, extremely knowledgeable, quick, neat, respectable, and creative. . I'm so glad we found him here on Angie's List.

How nice is John?! Also super punctual, responsive, competent. I had a list of broken/ to-do projects after my move-in- appliance problems, furniture problems, storage issues. He did everything perfectly, and quick!

John was pleasant on the phone as we discussed the job and scheduling. He accomodated my limited schedule and arrived promptly. I showed him the 4 items and he set to work, taking off his outside shoes to protect my white carpeting. We had an interesting conversation as I handed the fan blades to him (my offer not his request) and he was able to get all 4 projects done in the allotted time and he helped me secure a smoke detector in a vault ceiling (I'm not a fan of heights). I plan to recommend John to friends and neighbors and have him back for a consultation on my bathroom renovation.

John never seemed to be able to commit to when he would do the work or even schedule a date. I did not seem to be important to him even though I needed the work done my 1/28/16.

The inspection went well. John was punctual and really knows what to look out for in the house.

John was very responsive and set up an appointment for the week following contact. He arrived promptly and very personable. He completed all the things on my list.If I have the need I would definitely call him again.

John is an absolute pleasure to work with. He's professional, punctual, responsive. He completed the work in the estimated time and he takes pride in the work he does and it shows. He had all the materials and equipment with him upon his arrival and got right to work. I look forward to working with John again in the future and would highly recommend him.

It went fabulous. John was quick and thorough. He took the time needed to do each job correctly. He was organized so as to maximize time which is refreshing to see since makes his services that much more cost effective. He also consulted to determine priorities of items as well as proposing an approach for each item;. Once agreed on scope of work he immediately started and completed all items sooner than expected. John was cautious with all jobs and took the time to be careful with walls, floors and surrounding areas. His attention to detail and focus of job is admirable.

Purchased 2 Hour Handyman service from Angies List. John came out to replace faucet on bathroom. We elected to replace washers instead, so John went out to local store and came back later in the day to fix drips in 2 different bathrooms. Also gave advice on repairing some walls. Well worth it!

Worked quickly and accomplished everything on my to do list, from top priority all the way through the items I wasn't sure he'd have time for.

Originally, I purchased a 2 hours of handyman work for $79 deal; when the DIR Handyman showed up - and we explained the job, he actually advised that it would be unfair of him to charge of the $79 since the job only required about 45 minutes.So, he fixed our porch light and charge us a proper amount and was on his way. He was quick, clean, and completely professional - and its is gratifying to see such honesty and professionalism. We will definitely be using this company again.

Inspector was very professional, extremely detail oriented and friendly. He maintained his communication consistently and arrived on time. He really took 3+ hours to inspect the house. He checked every single outlet and the main electric panel inside out. I was very happy and satisfied with the level of details he provided. I'd definitely keep him in my books for future opportunities.

This was the second time I used his services because the price and quality of his work were satisfying. Would secure his services again in the future.

It wasn't completed. The only issue I really had was the time they spent. It wasn't for two hours. More simpler things that could have been completed for that day just weren't done. It was like they would have to come back to do more. That's the only thing. They definitely were capable. Nobody was disrespectful or anything. They did not charge anything more. They were definitely knowledgeable of what they were supposed to do. They could have done some of the small things that I asked that could have been completed right there. They were reasonable price-wise.

John was nice and professional. He was happy to help do whatever needed to be done. Paying for his time by the hour gave me the flexibility to add additional things for him to help with, which was great. He only missed one picture.

John came by and did everything I asked with true professionalism. He was very nice and easy to talk to. He did a great job installing my blinds and some small bathroom fixtures. I would definitely hire him again. He is nice, seems trustworthy, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I highly recommend him
