Description of Work: Over past decade, have completed 3 major home improvement projects. Chambon was the electrical contractor on each. | | First project involves creation of a front porch, custom portico, new siding and new external lighting for the whole house. All all lighting still works fine, the light sensors are all still in working condition and there are no issues with their work. This project was completed in 2007. | |Second project was renovation of the entire kitchen. We used a combination of IKEA cabinets, a third-party farm sink, brand-new countertop and under cabinetry lighting. Again Chambon handled all of the electrical work. We have had no issues with any of the work. This project was completed in 2009. | |Third project was recovery of our great room, utility room, guest bedroom and bath following flooding associated with hurricane Sandy. We had to gut The entire first floor of our house. Chambon handled all of the electrical work associated with this project. All outlets were checked and replaced as necessary.The bathroom was rewired in its entirety to support the new set up. All work was performed to the usual standards of excellence. There's been no issues with this work since it completion. | |We have also had small electrical jobs that needed to be completed over this entire time.. Whether a large project or small, Ludwig was our contact from chambon and always did a great job. We recommendthis company without reservation

+ -1 moreEverything went great. Dealing with the local inspectors was more troublesome and time consuming but Chambon handled it all.
Description of Work: Chambon was referred to me by a friend. They were fantastic to work with. I was renovating a condo and had the whole place rewired. A new meter & increased service was put in. All of their employees were very hard working. They had to work around the other tradesmen on sight and there were no issues. Jean(& his brother are owners) also made suggestions and recommendations. And even told me things I didn't need to spend money on. They will take care of you.

+ -1 moreExcellent workmanship, but extremely frustrating to work with the supervisor (one of the owners) Issues Poor communication by the supervisor (w/ homeowner, and his own workers) Estimate didn't reflect the face-to-face meeting/walk-thru with the supervisor (one of the owners) Invoices didn't match with the estimates Different worker showed up each day (all nice guys/good at what they did, but unsure about what they were supposed to do) Overall Price was higher than my other estimates, but not exorbitant: 'B' Worker's Quality, Responsiveness, Punctuality and Professionalism: 'A' Supervisor's Responsiveness, Punctuality and Professionalism: 'F'

+ -1 moreChambon was great to work with--they were professional and courteous. They installed a new outlet in a bedroom in our house, which involved a lot of work to ID where to run the cable, but the electrician they sent was resourceful, polite, clean and friendly.
