Description of Work: We purchased a complete, new central air conditioning system for our home, replacing the 1988 unit. We have a boiler and hot water heat, for the a/c work needed was substantial (air handler and ducts as well as outside unit) and the attic is extremely cramped as central air was added after the house was built. Argent's price was competitive with the other companies we had bid the job and without whining about the cramped conditions as some did. When the company's supplier delivered the wrong outside unit and air handler, causing a delay in the job, Argent (which did not install the wrong items) made up for the delay by installing an even more energy-efficient unit at no extra charge. We have already (April 2012) briefly needed a/c this spring, and we are very satisfied. We also had the company perform routine seasonal maintenance on our boiler late last fall.
