Apex Appliance Repair & Air Duct Cleaning

The techs arrived on time (and I appreciated that it was on the early end of the range of times they gave me). They were neither friendly nor unfriendly. They seemed to do a good job. They upsold me on cleaning out the interior of the dryer for an extra $30, which was fine. They didn't clean up after themselves as well as they could have before they left, which was disappointing.

Fine. Repair man was running late. When he got there, he worked quickly. Determined that my washer was beyond repair and gave me his honest suggestions for replacement brands. He thoroughly cleaned out my dryer vents, and was very friendly and professional. I would definitely hire this company again. They were easy to work with on the phone, too. No problem booking, etc.

He was good. One of the things that he made a point of telling me was when he pulled the air conditioning duct off in my dining room in order to clean out the system there was mold on my air conditioning duct. I asked him if he could repair it and he said no they don't do that so unfortunately I can't. I had major house work done probably about 2 years ago and no one bothered to tell me how bad my air conditioning duct covers were. They had to pull them off to paint my house and everything. I never heard how bad they were from prior. When I pulled that thing off it was disgusting and I actually walked it right out of the house because I was so worried about the mold on it. I ended up buying all the covers online and replacing them all because I was terrified about how bad the system looked. He told me that everything else looked good. The ducts didn't have the mold in it. It was just the covers. When I was replacing those covers I looked in the ducts and they all looked clean. Not all of these guys do the flexible hose ducts and these guys did. They came out about a week after I called them. They were more expensive. They did come in and did what they needed to. He communicated what they were going to do and they went about doing the work.

All he did was pull the cover off and turn it back on but it got it Working again.

I was impressed withe ratings this company received on Angie's list which was why I called them. The first appointment I made no one showed up and no phone call. When I spioke to the office I was told that the service man was hung up on another job. My reply was that someone should have called me. I made a second appointment-AGAIN no one showed up and no phone call. I called the office again & I was given the excuse that my appointment day had been changed. The change was not made by me. He offered to send someone out for the third time. Perhaps if he offered to come out for free I might have said yes. But I was not about to waste another day waiting for someone and then have another no show.

Technician (Ray) was prompt, professional, and personable; he saw/heard the problem immediately, offered solution, had the parts, and was able to make the repair in about 30 minutes.

Dryer vents were cleaned and tested. Very good.

Serviceman gave us the option of repairing however pointed out that the cost was about 75% of a new fridge. Appreciated his honesty.

The service technicians were great. They had my dryer vent cleaned out very quickly, and the cost was reasonable, especially with the Angie's List coupon for this service.

I scheduled a dryer vent cleaning for my condo and also requested a diagnostic for problems I was having with my washer/dryer unit. Ray came out and did my cleaning and gave me an honest review about the issues I was experiencing with my washer/dryer. Very much appreciated his honesty; hard to find nowadays! I highly recommend them and will definitely be using their services in the future!

We were very happy with the service from Apex Appliance Repair when we used them in October 2016 for a refrigerator problem so we called upon them again on May 7 at appx 7:30 am for a different refrigerator problem. Having not heard back from them we called a second and then a third time. It was our understanding from their website that they were available 24 hours-7 days. We did not receive a return call until mid day the following day May 8 (a day and a half later). Our refrigerator was leaking water and we saw this as an emergency. Failing to receive a timely return call from Apex we sought after another company to help.

Amazing! Initially spoke with the owner who diagnosed the problem over the phone. Arranged to have the parts needed picked up before the appointment and they were at my house the next morning. Tech was on time, courteous and extremely knowledgeable.

Ok... the technician looked at the dishwasher and recommended that I get a new one. He was done in 2 minutes.

I bought the service from Angie's List and called to set up the appointment. They couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The technician called to let me know when they would be here. Fast and efficient. I would definitely use again.

IT DIDN'T WHEN I CALL THEM THEY SAID THEY HAD NO ONE IN THE AREA AND HAD TRIED TO REACH ME??? MAYBE MAYBE NOT

Took three days for them to come but service was ok once they arrived.

They were running late and the called to keep us informed as to what was happening.

Found Apex on Angie's list, saw many positive reviews. I loved the fact that Apex responded to all the reviews. Called and Apex responded quickly, Steve was very professional. He was able to diagnose the problem and it was amazing to me how accurate he was in locating the disconnected vent. He then repaired it for which I was very grateful. Great work, thank you!

Technician spent 3 minutes examining my washer and determined that the rubber gasket was torn as well as the drum was worn and needed replacing- in his opinion it would have been too costly to repair and recommended replacing the unit.. he took my prepaid $60.00 Angie's List Special Coupon fee and departed... After he left, not wanting to spend 700.00 for a new washer - I repaired the tear myself with gorilla tape- The washer is still performing perfectly. I still haven't seen any issues with the drum which the technician said was going to fail on me at any moment... I don't understand how someone can recommend such a poor choice for a consumer. I'm sure the gasket being replaced would have given me much longer with this appliance, but he never offered that solution. I was very disappointed with the service this repair man gave.

Work was done professionally and quickly. Dryer is working good as new.

They said my dryer was producing heat, which was true. But it turned out that it only produced heat when you first turn it on, and then it would stop.

Apex came out and let me know that the refrigerator could not be fixed and charged me a little less than the normal fee for a repair consultation. They were on time, considerate and very knowledgeable. I would definitely call them again. I am in real estate and would not hesitate to recommend them to my clients.
