Description of Work: Apex recently came to our house to replace the heating element in our dryer. The staff was friendly, responsive, and very professional. They were on time and based on information collected on the phone, they were able to complete the repair in one visit. Their cost was higher than I anticipated for this type of repair. Overall, I'm pleased with this service and I recommend them for clothes dryer repair.

Description of Work: Dryer was not working. Apex came on time, quickly diagnosed a broken thermocouple and replaced it with one from his truck. Efficient, reasonable and pleasant.

Description of Work: Dishwasher door would not close. Repositioned dishwasher and inserted 2 new screws to keep it in place. We supplied the screws. Complained the entire time about how the dishwasher was originally installed. Charged us for only the labor. Cost was outrageous.

Description of Work: The serviceman was punctual and professional. He explained what was wrong, what he could do to fix the refrigerator and all my options. Absolutely no pressure in any direction. I decided to go with the fix, he put in the part and he was not happy with it, he went back to the truck for another and redid it. I would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: I already had the necessary parts on hand to repair my freezer, so the cost was lower than it normally would have been. Mike was on time, professional and did a great job. He defrosted the freezer quickly and without making a mess. | |My only low mark is for the person who answered my call early on a Sunday morning--she was difficult to communicate with, garbled and unclear. I suggest putting somebody a little more professional on the phone w/customers.

Description of Work: My 10 year old washing machine was not working. When the tech arrived, I explained the problem. The tech informed me that the problem was either the door lock or the circuit board. Door lock was approx $300. Circuit board was approx $600. Both would take approx 2-3 weeks to order and arrive. Since a new washer costs $700 - $900, the tech said he could walk out right now without charging me or he could order the parts and charge for the service call. I thanked him for his honesty, gave him a bottle of water and ordered a new machine that afternoon. I would definately use them again if needed.

Description of Work: I contacted the owner about my GE refrigerator water dispenser that was not working. He returned the call within the hour and asked what the temperature was set on the refrigerator door. I told him 35 degrees and he said that the water dispenser line was probably frozen. He recommended I set the temp. at 38 degrees, and wait a few days to see if the water dispenser works. Three days later, we have water. I truly appreciated the telephone advise and honesty, saving the cost of a service call. Reminds me of the good old days of honest hard working service companies.
