Apex Appliance Repair & Air Duct Cleaning has been serving Northern, Central & Southern NJ for over 30 years, we are a small family owned and operated company that takes pride in everything we do. With locations in Barnegat, Monroe Twp. and Morristown, we cover all of New Jersey. We repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and stoves. We are experts at Dryer vent cleaning, Chimney cleaning and Whole house air duct cleaning. We offer expert clothes dryer vent cleaning and venting system repairs. We also remove bird nests, stubborn clogs and we install exterior vent hoods. We are certified by The Chimney Institute of America and are experts in the field. We specialize in disconnected pipes hidden in walls and ceilings. We also offer whole house air duct cleaning; the inside of your home’s air quality is very important to maintain. We will clean the entire system with a HEPA vacuum which will keep your family breathing healthier. In addition, we clean fireplace chimneys and fire places. With our full line of services, we are a one stop shop to keep your home safe and healthy.

Description of Work: Cleaned the dryer vent by blowing air into the dryer vent. Did not check the attic to see if the lint actually got blown. Was in and out quick. Do not know if that is a good thing. Initially said that they would check the vent on the roof, but did not do so as it was raining. I may use then next time...

We do not allow any of our techs on the roof if it is raining, snowing, icy or windy. Their safety is paramount as I hope you understand. All of the trucks are equipped with binoculars in order to see if the flap is opening and if the airflow is good. Also they are able to check the back-pressure from inside your house with our gauges. Description of Work: Diagnosed and quickly fixed my broken washing machine. However, the part that needed replacing was a $7 part (I looked it up on Amazon and he was going to charge me $150 for it!!!) I told the repairman that I knew the price was only $7 and he then knocker about $20 or $30 off the price. In the end, I had a working washing machine but the whole visit cost me almost $200 when you figure in the costof thr Big Deal.

We try our very best to provide the best service possible but running a service company can be a challenging task when it comes to estimating the amount of time we will be in a particular home. Many variables come into to place so we give windows for appointments that we feel we can manage. We stated the scheduling window to you at the time of the appointment setup, which you agreed to, so I am confused a bit on the disappointment. We try very hard to exceed expectations but something’s are just out of our control. Thank you .

Description of Work: Blew out dryer vent pipe to outside. Also set up service to remind me yearly to have it done. Guy was terrific and very pleasant and polite. Vent was extremely clogged and he took the time to make sure everything was safe.
