Apex Appliance Repair & Air Duct Cleaning has been serving Northern, Central & Southern NJ for over 30 years, we are a small family owned and operated company that takes pride in everything we do. With locations in Barnegat, Monroe Twp. and Morristown, we cover all of New Jersey. We repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and stoves. We are experts at Dryer vent cleaning, Chimney cleaning and Whole house air duct cleaning. We offer expert clothes dryer vent cleaning and venting system repairs. We also remove bird nests, stubborn clogs and we install exterior vent hoods. We are certified by The Chimney Institute of America and are experts in the field. We specialize in disconnected pipes hidden in walls and ceilings. We also offer whole house air duct cleaning; the inside of your home’s air quality is very important to maintain. We will clean the entire system with a HEPA vacuum which will keep your family breathing healthier. In addition, we clean fireplace chimneys and fire places. Actually I was not here and it was my son, but the first comment of my son was the guy who came was unprofessionally dressed. I called the home insurance that I got from Angie's List and they gave me the name of Apex. So I called Apex and I told them that I had three problems, my dishwasher, the microwave which they do not handle, the washing machine and the refrigerator. The insurance company said just tell them when they get there of those three problems, which I did. Actually, when I contacted Apex I told them of those tree problems, and then when I was at work and my son called me later and said that the guy tried to fix only the washer, because he was not notified that he was supposed to do also the dishwasher and the refrigerator. So, I called Apex back and told them that the guy was dressed unprofessionally and if you go to a person's house you might as well just dress up presentably. I also told them that he was supposed to do the three units, but in the end he did not have to do anything, as he said the dishwasher was old, although we have been here for only three years and the ice maker for the refrigerator he said the same thing that the refrigerator was old. So he ended up not doing anything. I said next time I would not use them, and I will get another company.
Description of Work: I contacted Apex Appliance Repair Inc for three problems, my dishwasher, the washing machine and the refrigerator. Nothing impressed me about the service they provided.

Dear [member name removed] First let me say I'm sorry you were not happy with the outcome of our service, but we came to your house under a contract from Complete Protection which you have for your appliances. They authorized us only for your washer at the time and we did not know about the other appliances, so my tech looked at them FREE of charge for you. We all wear company sweatshirts with our logo and phone number and come to your house with a professionally lettered truck, Im not sure of the dress code issue your son described. Burners on my stove inoperable and when they did work were inefficient. Tom fixed the problem and showed me how to avoid it happening again

Punctual, knowledgeable, courtious and very friendly.

I DID NOT LIKE THEM. WHEN I CALLED THEM I COULD NOT GET AN APPOINTMENT RIGHT AWAY. WHEN I DID GET AN APPOINTMENT, THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP. THEN THE NEXT TIME THEY SHOWED UP THEY WERE LATE AND FORGOT THE PARTS THEY NEEDED, SO I HAD TO SET UP ANOTHER APPOINTMENT.
