We were having electrical issues with my home many times over the period of a year. Each time I called to complain about our brown outs, JCP&L sent a crew and determined nothing was wrong with the wiring they did after the October 2011 storm. Eventually there was some kind of short leaving me without power, so I called K&J Company. He had done work for some friends and they raved about him. Kenny, the owner/operator of the business came to my home, after hours, to help assess the problem and determined JCP&L had used the wrong connector on the neutral line after they hooked up our electricity. He called JCP&L himself, explained the situation and got them to re-send another crew. He was right. The new crew changed the connectors and wires that fed to my house and Kenny fixed the damaged wiring inside my home. Kenny was kind enough to stay around to supervise the JCP&L crew and make sure they did in fact fix the outside problem. Thank God for Kenny. Not only was he able to easily determine the electrical problem that's plagued us for a year, but was able to communicate that issue to JCP&L who didn't seem to take my complaints seriously before that. I'm grateful the wiring did not cause a fire, as that was a real possibility, but that Kenny did not gouge us in our time of need.
