I called Jolanda set up an appointment for her to come for interview and discussed the rate. Jolanda cancelled the appointments twice due to sickness. Then her friend Tom called me one day claimed that Jolanda was sick and he was going to clean my house for her. We set an appointment on the following Saturday and I had told him that that was for interview and if we agree on the amount of payment then he could start cleaning on that day. Tom came with a woman who suppose to clean my house which was new to me. Tom had told me he has a woman helped him so I thought he and a woman worked together, not the woman do it all by herself. The woman didn't understand England. We want someone speak England so we can communicate with her. After they got to my house. We showed Tom our house but before we even discussed the rate, the women attempted to clean our house. We stoped her right away. She didn't understand. We explained to Tom that we want someone speak English so we can communicate with him/her. Tom asked for $100 but I don't want to pay more than $90. Thus we are not agee on the rate. Tom was quite up set and kept complaining that I had promised that he could start cleaning on that day. BUT WE DID NOT AGEE ON THE AMOUNT I WILLING TO PAY. My husband told me what Jolanda and Tom did is called "bait and switch". That is wrong! I found Jolanda on your list and trust your list's review. If she is busy and doesn't need my business she should just tell me, NOT send me to her friend!

Jolanta is like one of our family. She has a college age daughter of whom she is very proud. She is unsure of her English, but she does just fine.
