Description of Work: WALTER RENOVATIONS LLC started constructing a second floor on our home and renovating the entire 1st floor except the existing bathroom. Matt Walters is a very honest and very skilled builder. He and his team are excellent workers, beautiful manners, exceedingly prompt and consistent in meeting all of their obligations, to date. The proposed end of construction is the End of January 2015, early Feb 2015. To date, they have meet each milestone and we are extremely happy, satisfied and appreciative of their work progress and results. We will use this company again, happily and with confidence.

Description of Work: We wanted to have some work done on our house. He was there when he said he would be and was very patient with us. Had some good ideas and came back with a good price. However we sold our house and decided not to do work cause of it. But we will use him in the new one for sure.

Description of Work: Matt and his crew installed a fence in our back yard. He also provided us with quotes for a variety of other projects around our home.

Description of Work: Matt hung a gable vent over my vinyl siding. The vent was installed 2.5 stories above ground.

Description of Work: Replaced two doors, repaired several screens and cut out rotten wood around house and replaced with new wood. We were very pleased with the way the doors looked installed and his repair work around house. Matt Walter was helpful with his recommendations and pleasant to deal with. We are having Matt replace another door and a shutter.

Description of Work: Walter's Renovations provided two services for our Townhouse complex. First, they washed and treated the vinyl exterior and secondly, they wrapped all exposed wood around the complex's doors with maint. free material. The place looks fantastic!

Description of Work: Knock down weight bearing walls, knock down a sunroom and storage room which was part of the house and rebuild a deck. He rebuilt the area knocked down to build my kitchen. Rebuilt my deck. Repaint the outside siding, redo an existing bathroom.

Description of Work: Matt was very responsive to my intial phone contact. He came out when he said and spent an hour and half with me going over a punch list I had from a previous contractor. He emailed me an estimate in the time frame he stated and it was very detailed. I was impressed with his estimate. Although I didn't select him to do the work he was in the top running and I would contact him again. Matt was very personable and my impression was he would have been good to work with during the project

Description of Work: When my house was constructed in 2005, the siding was completed before the kitchen cabinetry, and a long vertical rectangular duct was placed in the exterior wall for venting of the microhood that was eventually installed in that location. The vertical duct is quite long, since the height of the microhood exhaust vent was not yet known. When it was installed, the microwave was vented horizontally through a 3 1/4 inch by 10 inch rectangular hole cut into the interior side of the vertical ducting previously placed. Approximately two feet higher, there was a 4-inch-round hole previously cut through the siding, the exterior house wall, and the exterior wall of the vertical sheet metal duct. Over the past seven years, this venting has worked fairly well, but the hole cut from the exterior should have been at least 6-inch-round, according to the microhood installation directions. Recently, when the touchpad of the microhood stopped functioning properly, I decided to replace the microhood with a powerful Zephyr Typhoon range hood with maximum venting of 850 cubic feet per minute (Most range hoods only vent 200-300CFM.) This new range hood could be vented horizontally with 3 1/4 inch by 10 inch rectangular ducting straight out through the exterior kitchen wall, but not using my existing ductwork. In fact, the existing ductwork was in the way and had to be cut through in order to vent my new range hood horizontally directly to the outside. In addition, the new range hood was configured to be hard-wired, whereas my old microhood had a cord that was plugged into a dedicated 20-amp outlet in the cabinet above. The range hood would either need to be hard-wired or need to be wired to my old microwave's cord and plug. My job, therefore, consisted of cutting a 3 1/4 inch by 10 inch rectangular hole through the side of my house (including the metal ductwork and the vinyl siding), rewiring the new range hood to the old microwave cord with plug, and installing the new range hood.
