Brian Johnson Painting

Over a year ago, I cut a contract with Brian Johnson to paint my house. The work should have taken three or four weeks. It is not done yet. Brian shook me down for payment in full for the whole job and then stopped showing up.

Exceptionally well done. Brian is a professional, very responsive, pleasant, and thoughtful. We were having other work done at our vacation home and he had concerns that his job would not be done correctly while that work was going on so called us immediately to discuss rescheduling and modifying the timeframe for completion. Fixed up a couple of minor things after the job was complete and did so promptly and with a great attitude. Would definitely hire Brian again.

First off he is the only contractor we made an appointment with that was actually punctual. He was very professional, more than willing to help us with other things we needed done in the house. He gave his professional opinion about how to get rid of the smoke damage. He first tried cleaning the wall with spray Clorox, but there was too much black residue and told us it would be best to prime it and then paint the walls. The master bedroom had damage on the wall where the tenant ran the cable up the wall. Brian fixed the wall as if there was never Sheetrock pealed. It was smooth and you couldn't even tell it was plastered. (I was really impressed) The cathedral rooms were painted to perfection. Brian worked with us to order the window, he picked it up from Lowe's and installed it. He contracted the crawl space windows to someone who does this type of work. He was our point of contact for everything. He is a very hard worker and pleasant to work with. i would highly recommend his services.

Arrived on time for the estimate and also to begin the work. Professional, curteous and punctual. We plan to have them return to do some other work later in the year.

Better than expected. Brian showed up and gave us some honest feedback on what to do and what not to do. He provided prices for various options and made it easy for us to decide. Brian's team was very professional and got the job done early and under budget.

Looked for a skilled painter to repair water damaged decorative plaster trim - found Brian Johnson Painting. Called, Brian arrived punctually on the date and time scheduled for estimate. Awarded him the job - conducted himself professionally and skillfully and fixed the identified area as well as adjacent damaged areas. Came back to repair same area after Superstorm Sandy damaged the same area. Applied painting, papering and other skills to further damaged area throughout the house. Worked with other professionals to find the correct solution for all problems as well as securing and overseeing artist who painted a mural to replace damaged wallpaper that could not be secured. Always punctual, good communicator, neat, clean, respectful of others and premises, appropriately prepares areas and cleans up following job. Provides thorough estimates and receipts.

This guy was early every day. He was very courteous. He was very professional. He cleaned up everything afterwards. He was very respectful. I would trust this guy in my home when I wasn’t there. He was a really good guy. My father was there while he was doing the work and he watched him clean my table and floor to make sure there was no drywall dust left over. He was thorough and professional. His price was fair.
