Doug called back within 24 hours and received a fair estimate to put a cap on my chimney. Completed work in a timely manner.

Do not even bother to call them. First time here they had no ladder. Really? A chimney cleaning Company? Next appointment was a no show, would not even answer our calls or return our messages. 3 weeks of wasting my time for a company that claims good service. Do not waste your time on Kelly Home Service. I had to leave a 0.5 rating because my experience could not be submitted without a rating.

I summoned Doug Kelly and Crew to clean and inspect my wood stove insert and chimney through HomeAdvisor 10/8/â 20. Doug called that morning and made an appointment for the following day. They arrived promptly and worked efficiently and thoroughly completing the job in good order. Next day I went to start a fire in the stove early in the morning. I noticed something amiss in the firebox and called Doug. He arrived again promptly and corrected the problem. I fired up the stove and found it to draw perfectly through the newly cleaned flu and chimney. I recommend Kelly Home Services of Doylestown most highly for this and similar service. We plan to use them annually. David of New Hope.

They said they would inspect the chimney from top to bottom and bottom to top. Only checked the chimney from the bottom. Said they could see up to the sky but we have a cap on. Asked if they were going to inspect the cap and was told he could see it from the ground. Was supposed to send an estimate for outside stucco fixing and never did. Do not feel that they did what they said they were going to do. $159 for 15 minutes of work. Also cancelled the first appointment then did not show up for second saying they had phone issues. Did fine job clean from bottom to top?

Project: repointed brick chimney, repaired damaged bricks Doug Kelly contacted me right away, came out quickly to access job and e-mailed detailed estimate promptly. He was able to schedule the job and came as promised the following week. I am extremely pleased with the work and feel lucky that I found them! All my concerns were addressesed and my chimney looks great! Great company to work with!

Pleasant experience all the way through. Assessed required work and provided proposal within days and fit me in within a two-week timeframe and I am very pleased with the results.

After initial cleaning I trusted his recommendations. After agreeing on price, we set a date and I gave half up front. Then the delays started. Finally got a specific date for the work. He never showed up or contacted me. After repeatedly reaching out finally heard back only to be told some excuses and he would not complete the job. He said he would return the deposit. After a couple days he claimed he sent it out. After a week still no check. I reached out and he tells me it was returned, which is weird because then why didn't he reach out or resend it. Finally I was able to get him to drop off the money. Hopefully the check clears. This is two months wasted.
