The owner called and showed up on time. He was very knowledgeable and professional.

Went well for the most part, had a tough time with a stain that kept reappearing in the one bedroom where the bunk beds were. Stain back after 2nd visit to remove. In their defense they did say they would come back until they got it taken care of or removed, I was just sick & tired of contractors at that point after having my three bathrooms remolded the previous 4 months. needless to say I had had enough of those guys!

WE FIRST LOOKED ON ANGIE'S LIST FOR CARPET CLEANERS, THEN CHOSE BARRY'S CARPET CARE TO CLEAN OUR UPHOLSTERY. THEY PROVIDED US WITH A VERY ACCURATE COST ESTIMATE AND TIME OF ARRIVAL. JEFF ARRIVED ON TIME AND EXPLAINED WHAT PROCESS HE WOULD BE UTILIZING TO CLEAN THE FURNITURE. HE WENT RIGHT TO WORK AND SPENT THE TIME REQUIRED TO MAKE EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE LOOK LIKE NEW. HE WAS EXCEPTIONAL!! WE HAVE HAD OTHER FURNITURE CLEANED THROUGHOUT THE YEARS BY OTHER CLEANERS, BUT HE WAS BY FAR THE BEST PROFESSIONAL CLEANER WE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF DEALING WITH, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE.

Overall I had a positive experience with this company. I looked into some of the larger carpet cleaning companies but they all seemed to have mixed reviews. I decided to call a local realtor and asked her who she uses to clean rugs at her properties and she recommended Barry's Carpet Care. My mother's carpets were cream colored so the cleaners really had to work on some of the heavily trafficked areas. Some of the stains in these areas did not come up 100%, but I was still satisfied because these were 14 year old rugs. The cleaners placed styrofoam blocks or square pieces of heavy plastic under each piece of furniture after they cleaned the carpet --- except under the antique trunk. Unfortunately, the trunk had metal casters that left rust colored marks on the carpet as it dried. A few days later, when I discovered this, I called Barry's Carpet Cleaning back and they apologized for the oversight and sent another team out the next day at no charge to correct the problem. They also worked on a few of the heavy traffic areas again for me. The estimate (which I got over the phone) was within $10. of the actual price I was charged so I was pleased with that as well.
