Metro pools worked with the manufacturer to get a replacement liner and coordinate a speedy delivery. The crew removed our old liner and replaced with a new liner in over 90 degree heat. 2 water trucks came to fill the pool and the pool was ready to go for the rest of Memorial Day weekend. Technician verified problem ... Supply line was not aligned to return line ... Cut pvc pipe and re-aligned it with new valves on both ends .... Reconnected clorinator ... We researched several pool companies for months. We put in an in ground pool at old house and used a big name pool installer... BIG MISTAKE! thousands of dollars in hidden costs, no personalized service and a lot more expensive! Metro Pools beat all competitor prices! There were there when they said they would be and worked very hard to stay on schedule. Always very respectful and didn't leave my yard strewn with garbage like other installer. Worked with electrical contractor, plumber, fence company and mason to ensure a smooth, no hassle experience. Great company! Professional, neat and sticks to their word. NO hidden costs!!!!!

Our pool installation went very smoothly. Metro Pools, LLC gave an excellent presentation at the time of estimation. Metro Pools, LLC had a clearly written contract and went over all of the steps for installation. Metro Pools, LLC followed up with the town throughout the permit process. The dig for the pool went very well. All inspections were coordinated by Metro Pools, LLC and the work kept moving along smoothly. The job site was always kept neat and the whole team was very friendly and respectful.

They did a very good job. They neatly folded cover bag and rolled drain hose when finished. Happy with service and the price was price was very reasonable.

Like all big jobs nothing goes without a few bumps along the way. All i can say is that Metro Pools was always responsive to our needs. We had an issue with a leaking pipe for our jacuzzi and Phil had his guys dug out the jacuzzi, not once but two different times at their own cost to determine the problems. Phil always assured us that he would get everything working right, and that was the truth. We love our pool

Our property wasn't ideal for a pool and definitely provided a challenge but Phil ( the owner ) handled any issue seamlessly. He was always there watching to ensure that everything went well and that we were satisfied. Whenever we had questions he answered them honestly and professionally

New pool liner installation went well. High quality Loop-Loc 28 mil liner and capable service people. Some initial small wrinkles concerned me but Phil (owner) suggested waiting over the summer to see if they dissipated and, as he suggested, they all went away within 6 weeks or so. As far as I can tell It is a wrinkle-free installation. They definitely performed as promised for the quoted price. No surprises. The only thing I can suggest that could have been better: although the installers swept and vacuumed the vermiculite pool bottom pretty well, if they would have swept and vacuumed the pool bottom one more time before installing the liner to get a few more of the little pieces of grit that show up as tiny bumps you feel under your feet after the liner is installed. This is probably not anything really important, just something I noticed that most people probably wouldn't. I didn't even mention this to Metro after the install and I mention it now only because they seem like the type of company that wants to continuously improve what they do. The bottom line is that you should give Metro a try. As you can see I am pretty picky and I would use them again.

Three words: Excellent Customer Service!! When our pool suddenly drained itself this Spring, we called 3 pool service providers. One never returned our call, one finally called back a month later (after we'd already been swimming in our new pool for a week!). But Metro answered the phone on the first ring, set up an appointment and the guys were there the next day to do a pressure test. We finally figured out that the 15 year old liner had torn and needed to be replaced. At the appointment to give us an estimate and measure the pool for the new liner, we asked about converting to salt. Phil discussed the pros (many) and the cons (little to none) and gave us all the pricing. After a little research on our own we decided to do it. So glad that we did. The installation was done at the same time as the pool liner so we were up and running within a few days. Convert your pool - you won't regret it! Metro Pools has a great staff. They are all friendly and efficient. Alexa always answers the phone and is always extremely helpful. Phil, the owner, always shows up when he says he will and is able to answer all of our questions honestly and completely. The guys that did the trouble-shooting to find out why the pool was leaking were here on time and spent a lot of time to help us figure it out. The installation of the new liner and chlorinator was done in just a few hours and they answered all of our questions on what to do next. Throughout the entire process, Alexa made sure to keep the lines of communication open and kept us informed at every step. There were no surprises and we are very pleased with the results. I can't say enough good things about Metro. If you need help with your existing pool, call them.

Metro pools not only met but exceeded all expectations. The company owner,Phill, built this company from the ground up and his hands on approach and direct involvement in every aspect of the project was outstanding. There were many obstacles as a result of red tape with the township, but Phil and Alexa handled every issue flawlessly. There was always clear communication and the craftsmenship demonstrated concerning the pool instillation was second to none. I am truly thankful to everyone at metro pools for installing the most beutiful pool for my families enjoyment.

The whole process was so much fun! The owner Phil is very patient! My husband and I collected around 15 pictures for inspiration. Phil helped us navigate through all of our ideas. It was so wonderful to work with someone that has 20 years of experience. He knows what works and where to save the money. He designed the ultimate pool that covered my husband's wish list as well as mine. The wish list was extensive- bench, spa jets, LED deck jets, waterfall and enough lights that we would glow! We have a very high water table in our yard which was a huge concern for us. Phil, with his experience of water tables, advised us to raise the pool 2 feet out of the ground and to make the deep end 5'6". Both ideas have been vital in preventing water table issues. The Metro Pools staff was amazing! Alexa was so accommodating with questions, scheduling, permits, and last minute changes that we made. The excavating and pool walls were done in ONE DAY!!! We were blown away! Eric and Matt from service were incredible! They are friendly, polite, and the icing on the cake- great with our pup!! Everyone made sure to close the gate to keep her safe. Did I mention that Phil was here every day!! Every single day, the owner is here working with and advising the whole crew!! It was huge bonus knowing that he was so hands on. The whole company impressed us. You can tell that they are a well oiled machine and love working together. Phil also works with the town, electrician, hardscaper, and landscaper to keep the fluidity of the job. Everyone he recommended was exceptional. We also met one of Metro's vendors. He shared with us that Phil is in the top 2% of the pool companies that he has ever worked with. We have learned while deciding on a pool company, the lowest price isn't always the best price. This is a huge investment. You want to rely and trust the company now and 20 years down the road. That is why we choose Metro Pools. We can call for advise long after the pool is built. The customer service at Metro is a constant- you become part of the Metro Pools family. Purchasing a pool from Metro has been one of the best decisions that we have ever made. It totally transformed our backyard. We are so happy with the whole process and especially the final product!! We will forever be grateful to Phil and the entire staff at Metro Pools! My husband and I found this pool company after we purchased our home that already had a built in pool. At the time we had no idea what we were getting into. After a stormy winter we opened the pool to find many leaks and lot's of problems. I called 5 pool companies in a panic! Two didn't show and the others came and gave quotes for repair. The only company that truly explained the issue in terms we could understand and also offer a reasonable solution was Metro!... We hired them and hoped for the best. That was 8 years ago. At the time we had a brand new custom liner placed along with all new underground lines. The measurements were perfect. The owner brought the gentleman from the liner company to my home to make sure of it. After the lines were run and since our pool barely needs to be vacuumed. They are now our pool maintenance company and open and close the pool each year! Recently I had an emergency where our filter stopped working the morning of a large outdoor party, it was also a Saturday. Within an hour they were at my home and all was fixed! This company is terrific!

We were satisfied, we got a good pool out of them.

Phil was always punctual and polite. He answered all of our questions and was helpful as well. His internal staff person, Jenn was great at providing dates and feedback as to when the guys would be at our home. The crew leader sent was Eric. His team was pleasant and professional. They made a difficult job seem easy and cleaned up at the end. We are very pleased!

It took Metro Pools 2+ weeks to respond to my e-mail inquiry sent via Angie's List. If you are not going to bother to respond in a timely fashion, why bother having e-mail as an available contact option?

Very Well. Contractor was able to answer all our questions and provide us with valuable information on construction techniques, licensing and permits, and the quality of materials used. All the people used by the contractor were professionals. Any questions or issues were usually resolved quickly.

The contractors were very professional, arrived on time, did a great job explaining to my husband what they were doing and at a very fair price.

Both technicians? were helpful and friendly.

After a week delay due to Hurricane Sandy, digging commenced and was completed within a day without problems. The stainless steel panels and "A" frames were erected within a day. Getting concrete around the pool's external base was a challenge due to the location of the pool in relation to access to our property. After an abortive attempt to get a concrete truck close to the pool, it was decided to use a concrete pump which worked perfectly. We decided to go with a heat pump solution for heating and salt water, which made pool maintenence much easier than our prior above ground pool. The salt water is much better on the skin and you don't get that chlorine smell that you get when you use chemicals. The water has remained clear throughout the year and there has been no problems with algae forming. Chris of Metro Pools worked closely with our main landscaping contractor Rich Cording of CLC Landscape Design, who installed Trex decking between the house and the pool, with the edge cantilevered over the edge of the pool. CLC also filled in around the pool on the other three sides, installed a small water feature and retaining wall and graded and reseeded the grass areas disturbed by the digging and landscaping. We did all the plantings around the pool. We've just completed our first full season with the new pool which has been wonderful. The only thing we would have done differently would be to install a drain from the filter to our main garden drainage to simplify backwashing the filter. We did however, manage with only one backwashing at the end of the season through using basket covers and an Aquabot pool vacuum that collected most debris.

Metro Pools was fantastic to work with from the first day to the last. We received an estimate from Chris and it was very accurate regarding both the price and length of time for the project. We were told it would take 2 weeks from beginning to end and that's exactly what it took even though we had a few days of weather delay. They installed a 16' by 32' inground pool in February 2013. The employees were very neat, cleaned up daily and respected our property. Chris explained all the steps to us and was available whenever we had a question. We would certainly use them again and we highly recommend them. Metro Pools came back in September 2013 to close the pool for the season. Once again, we were very happy with the service they provided.

I have used this company several times over the past few years for routine maintenance and repair work. I found that 2 years running they didn't completely put on the LopLok cover and when I called them about it they said it would be ok and didn't need all the straps hooked up, a week later the cover is sagging into the water! Every time they came I had to make them come back to clean up the mess they left. They are no longer on my list of service providers.

The first call to this provider was answered by someone who said the proper person was on another call and would call me right back. That call didn't come until the next day (it was about 2:30 when I first called). I indicated I wanted my pool opened, but it needed a couple repairs first and they answered that they could handle the repairs, too. Service was schedule for a few days later but it rained that day (Thursday), so toward the end of the day I called to see if they were coming out. I was told that the rain delayed them, but they would be out tomorrow (Friday). Nobody showed up on Friday (it rained that day, too) and I got no call to reschedule. Saturday morning, without warning, they showed up, but were unaware that repairs were required. All they did was remove the pool cover, set the pump in place, connect a couple existing pipe fittings and drop off a small amount of chemicals. The field personnel said they would inform the office of the need for repairs and I should expect a call to schedule someone else to handle that. Nobody called Monday morning, so I called the office in the afternoon and they seemed unaware of the issue. After hearing the price for the repair work I decided to decline one of the repairs since the price was high and I could handle it myself. Work was scheduled for a few days later and they showed up as scheduled and replaced my pool light as requested. However, since the light replacement required the water level to be lowered, the pool opening was not completed and no arrangements for completing it were made. I completed the repairs deemed too expensive and finished opening the pool and adding additional chemicals as required.

Metro Pools is a very reliant pool service provider. We had them come to our home to provide us with a price for a new liner and drainage system and they went above and beyond in taking the time to speak with us about our pool as well as follow up with us thereafter. Although we did not use them for this particular job (we went with a family friend instead) we do plan to recommend them to family and friends because they are definitely a top notch company.

Overall the job was performed very professionally and the quote was accurate to the end of the job. We love our pool and we wouldn't go with anyone else!
