Description of Work: I called Andersen window to have a 30 year old window in my bathroom repaired because the balance cord had broken. I was quoted $200.00 plus parts. I said to the rep that I could probably replace the window for that price, but she said no it would cost a lot more. Andersen windows sent a repairman from Excelsior Lumber, it was very prompt and well done, but the repairman said that Andersen has a program to replace old narrowline windows with tilt and wash windows that was very reasonable in price. I wish the Andersen window rep I spoke to had told me that. It ended up costing me $216.00 for the labor and approx. $66.00 for the parts.
