We are not ready to start our project, but I wouldn't hesitate to use Your Neighbor Handyman, LCC.

The storm door was installed first by an associate contractor, Dave, who did a super job. He arrived on time and worked competently and surely to finish the job in a few hours. Very happy with his work. The second job was the installation of a bedroom fan. It was difficult job due to problems in the ceiling connection through the attic. However Jerry worked very hard to get the work complete and done well. He was thorough and professional and did a great cleanup job. I would highly recommend Jerry's company.

Gerry is very easy to work with and makes suggestions for things that I would have never thought about. He also does windows and I have discussed future projects with him. Overall, the job was well done.

My handymen arrived promptly on the day and time that was scheduled which is very important to me. Work was completed quickly and did not drag out. Additional parts or supplies that were needed did not delay the job. Handymen who worked at my home were courteous and neat. Grace, who works at the office always returned my calls promptly and was quick to respond to me over email. This is also very important to me. I will be using Your Neighborhood Handyman again in the near future.

Jerry and assistant finished job on time and we were pleased with the work. They did recommend a better way to keep front door from being drafty. Garage door trim matched perfectly. On time and very nice guys.

Jerry is very responsive and professional. He answers all emails and provides updates via text message as well (e.g. "on my way"). After sending him a photo of the kitchen he came out promptly and provided an estimate. We were very flexible with our schedule so there were no concerns about Jerry fitting us into his schedule. Jerry arrived on time and pretty much worked straight through the day on the project. He came back 2 days later to finish up and again arrived on time as promised and quickly finished up. He cleaned up both days including wiping counters, floors, and the patio where he did all the cutting of tiles. He brought enough drop cloths to protect our flooring and granite counters, which was most appreciated. The quality of his work was also excellent. He worked with us on the design. He's basically a "tell me what YOU want" kind of contractor and he accommodated one minor change in the project with no problem. The backsplash came out perfect and really enhances our kitchen. We will definitely use Jerry again in the future and would recommend him to others as well.

I am selling my home and there were some issues identified during the inspection which need to be fixed before settlement. Jerry was very responsive and did a great job. I plan to hire him again.

I have been a homeowner for 40 years. When I hire someone, I want it all: experience, good communication, reliability, attention to detail, and the willingness to tell me when my thinking is wrong. This Big Deal was my first purchase from Angie's List. After so many disappointments over the years, at the start my anxiety level was running high. But when it was all over, I was happy and unstressed. Jerry and his associate accomplished everything on my list, asking for my input at appropriate points. Their workmanship was excellent; they seemed relaxed and to be enjoying the work. The only problem was an accidental mark on my pale green carpeting made with a black indelible ink pen. I had to snip if off as the ink was truly permanent. When I compare this experience to other (non-Angie's List) work I've had done over the past few months, Your Neighborhood Handyman was far superior.

Bought deal for a friend, but they did not end up needing it. He was very prompt and professional, I just don't need this deal.

Jerry Thomson and his team provided quality service and were very professional from the beginning to end of the project. He took pride in his work and made sure we were happy with the finished product. We had 13 original windows replaced in our 100 year old home and it transforms the look and feel to our home. We already have Jerry coming in to do some handyman work next month. Highly recommend his services.

I didn't care for Jerry Thomson at Your Neighborhood Handyman LLC at all. He told me he would call me on Sunday to give me a time to do the work but he didn't call me until Wednesday. He had a lame excuse and didn't seem like he was interested in doing the work. When I told him I found someone else he just hung up the phone. He didn't say thank you or give me a future call. He was very rude so I knew I made the right decision. I wouldn't recommend Jerry Thomson at Your Neighborhood Handyman LLC price wise or attitude wise. When he did show up he was polite and on time.
