All Jersey Appliance Repair

I called All Jersey Appliance Repair last week for a service call. Rich was able to fit me in his schedule right away. My house is outside of their typical service area, but Rich said he was still able to go which was greatly appreciated. He was professional, called in advance of his arrival & was punctual. Rich gave us his assessment & honest opinion for best steps to proceed with right away. I wouldn't think twice about calling them again for any repair and/or installation. I would definitely recommend him to a friend.

Rich was great. He showed up when expected, looked at our dryer, and gave us an estimate on how much it would cost to fix the problem. (The dryer works, but it doesn't stop automatically anymore when using the sensor dry settings. So we have been using the timed dry settings instead.) Based on the cost, the age of our dryer, and the fact that it still works with timed dry settings, Rich suggested that we don't spend the money to get it repaired and instead just replace it when it finally stops working altogether. Refreshing to get an honest response and suggestion.

Richard was on time, courteous, professional, fair and knowledgeable. I absolutely would use him again. This compares to the previous appliance repairman from another company whom charged me $70 for a service call and went back to his shop to send me an email to tell me he could not get the parts and the manufacturer was no longer in business. Fortunately, a salesman at PC Richards told me about Marcone in Hackensack, NJ. I brought down the parts to Marcone whom got the part numbers off of the elements I brought in and ordered them. After I got the parts this repairman wanted to charge me $350 to install those parts, but was not capable to doing the work and was very argent about it. All Jersey Appliance installed them and I again have my double oven back and working again. Thank you All Jersey Appliance.

Rich is fantastic. Knowledgeable, fair and honest. He's also very accommodating. I found him when another company told me I'd have to wait several days for an appointment. Rich squeezed me in the day I called. He also helped me find the valve to turn off the water to the fridge in case it happened again - which none of the other companies ever suggested even after repeatedly servicing the fridge for the same issue. 5 months it happened again - and I turned off the water to stop the leaking. Today he was back to fix it again and to help me come to terms that it's time to buy a new fridge. I'm getting a new one this week. When another appliance around here breaks, I will definitely call Rich.

Richard was terrific. He showed up at exactly 8:30 AM as promised. He identified the problem quickly, had the needed equipment on his truck, and finished the job in under an hour. I asked if he repaired all appliances and mentioned that the knob on my dryer was broken requiring us to use pliers to change settings. He graciously called and order the part for home delivery and charged me only for the part and delivery fee. He was very nice and pleasant to work with. I now have his magnet on my refrigerator and will absolutely use him again should the need arise.

Very well. Rich was very knowledgeable, and was able to get the replacement parts even though a previously used technician told me that the parts were unavailable, and that i would have to replace the entire unit at 4x the expense. The unit works like new.

My GE gas range, purchased in 2002, had been converted to run on propane. For quite some time, the oven burner would shut off before the oven reached the set point. As I could usually get the oven to restart and eventually reach the set point, I ignored it for years. I recently decided to try my hand at bread baking and the oven never reached the 500 degree temperature needed for the crisp crust. I called All Jersey Appliance and Rich and I arranged a convenient time for him to come. He came right within the window he provided me, evaluated the situation and made the required adjustments so that the oven now works as it should. Rich performed the repair quickly and did not try to sell me any parts that I did not need. Should I need any appliance repair in the future, I will certainly call All Jersey Appliance. (My next loaf of bread came out great!)

I called All Jersey appliance repair this morning and he was at my house 3 hours later...punctual and professional! Richard was very helpful, explained what the problem was and how I can prevent it from happening in the future. He was in and out in about an hour, appliances are fixed and cutomer is happy! First of all, I would like to say that I purchased a Maytag Bravos washing machine and dryer exactly 3 years ago this month and I have had nothing but trouble with both. I have already had to replace the washing machine and this is the 2nd repair for the same problem on the dryer, trust me, that repairman in the commercials is NOT as lonely as they proclaim. No more Maytags for me!!!! With that said, this is the first time I have used All Jersey Appliance Repair and was extremely pleased. Come to find out the reason that I had this problem again is because another repair service I used (before I joined Angieslist) installed the belt backwards, which led to bigger problems. Price was reasonable and gave me a discount because of using Angieslist. Overall, very pleased and would definitely use again! Thanks Angieslist & All Jersey Appliance Repair!

Excellent. Rich was professional and also explained a lot about how the washer works. I would definitely call again in the future.

We have an old washing machine (20-25 yrs), with all mechanical parts. The timer was no longer working. He informed us that that timer was no longer being manufactured, but he did his best to straighten the wires and clean off the contacts. He was honest about it and gave us good advice on what kind of machine to purchase when our current one completely stopped working. The service was scheduled for the day after we called for the request, and he arrived exactly on time. This is my second time with All Jersey and both times it has been a pleasure to deal with them.

Richard was honest and explained that the washer was not worth repairing because the bearings were also worn out and would be too expensive to repair. He charged very little for the time he spent here. He also gave me excellent advice on what washer to purchase. He was great!

My 15-year-old GE refrigerator/freezer stopped working on a Sunday evening. I anticipated that it would need to be replaced but before looking into a new refrigerator, I thought it might be worth a try to fix my old one. I emailed Rich (of All Jersey Appliance Repair) on Sunday evening and he responded to my email by 8:30 a.m. the next morning - confirming that he would be able to make a service call between 12 noon - 1:00 p.m. that day. Rich showed up as promised and after checking things out, explained that the only thing wrong was a burned out motor and he had the part available in his truck. Rich was prompt, courteous and professional - the job was completed in under an hour and he saved me the cost of a brand new refrigerator. I would definitely recommend All Jersey Appliance Repair - excellent value and very prompt service.

As others have mentioned, excellent service was provided by Richard. I called on a Monday morning, he came the same day to evaluate, and the repair was completed by 12 PM on Tuesday. Richard was professional, efficient, and the pricing was fair. I would highly recommend this company, and will definitely use them in the future if needed. We use our washing machine daily, and genuinely appreciated the quick response!

Rich was very responsive . He answered phone promptly, was professional & easily fixed problem with stuck burner & checked others. Was impressed to overhear him take call from prospective client & hear rich suggest easy, cheap DIY fix to try first.

I called Rich and he was able to come the same day. He first replaced the motor which was broken and he showed me where it was broken. He said that this should fix the issue but if it doesn't to call and he will be back and look at the water valve. Unfortunatly that did not fix the problem. I called him again to let him know of the issue. He asked me to send him the model number which was on sunday. Monday morning he had the part and scheduled with me to come in the same day and change the water valve. As soon as he replaced the valve the ice maker filled the try with water and approx 30-45 mins later i had the first batch of ice. The ice maker is working fine. Rich was very professional and punctual. He didn't charge any service fee to come out again just charged for the part which was replaced, even showed me the invoice and charged exactly what the part cost. I would recommend Rich to friends and family!!!

Went well. He disassembled the freezer unit, cleared it of ice, cleaned the unit , cleared the filter and reassembled everythin. No problems, no surprises. The whole repair took about 30 minutes

Service was great. Rich was able to accommodate a last minute request and a day ahead of time. He actually arrived before the new dishwasher did, took the old one out and waited for the new one to arrive. Installation was impeccable even after hitting a few challenges with the layout. Rich is a great guy - prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Would recommend and hire again Rate was $150 for install with 10% off for Angie's list member.
