+ -1 moreREP Masonry was excellent to work with. While the provider himself did not work on site, he did physically inspect progress on all work. He was readily available to us by way of phone and email, and answered ALL correspondence - a rarity by our experiences. The worksite was cleaned on a daily basis. The bluestone, sidewalk, and ledge stone (left from another subcontractor) came out beautifully - beyond our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend REP Masonry's services. The price was somewhat high, but the quality of work and professionalism were well worth it to us.
Description of Work: New bluestone was laid over a concrete porch and step in front of the house, and the front sidewalk was replaced and graded away from the house. REP Masonry also stepped in to finish a ledge stone job that a subcontractor on another project failed to complete. This work was not figured in the previously stated cost of service, but the work is included as an indication of the quality of service provided.

+ -1 moreWe contracted REP in June and they were up-front stating they were about 8 weeks out for work. We received a call in late August that they would be available to replace the steps in mid-September. At the time of estimate - he did mention a possibility that the existing footer may not be adequate to pass code inspection, and would cost an additional $1350 if it needed to be replaced. Based on the warning, we were prepared for a higher amount if needed (which it was). Work progressed according to plan, with them completing the steps within one week (working every day except a rainy day). Inspection (code) was required of the township and the company called the township to schedule it. They performed their job appropriately and the fit and finish was good.
Description of Work: REP Masonry was contracted to replace a set of crumbling front steps. They removed the front steps, replaced the footers (which were not to code) and built new front steps, including sandstone treads.
