Description of Work: Frank was great to work with. His company got tied-up with other jobs and was a little late getting started. But when they did begin the job, they completed it in a satisfactory amount of time. The workmanship looks good and they paid attention to detail. Frank even called to make sure that everything was acceptable and gave us some tips on maintaining the deck. We received good value for the work done.

Description of Work: Frank Campano came to the house to look at the project (tear down and deck build)and said he would send us an estimate within a few days. Never received an estimate, phone call - no communication back to us whatsoever.

Description of Work: My fiance called the office to make an appt. The woman said she would have someone call him back, which never happened. He then called the office back, the woman was real rude and said "I guess he doesn't have time." So my fiance told her to forget it.

Description of Work: I originally contacted Frank Campano because I needed a deck builder to replace a contractor who had breached our contract, stealing thousands of dollars from me in the process. When Frank promptly respnded, I also asked him whether his company could complete other work that was undone, since part of the work included construction of a new dining room to replace my former den and a new wheelchair accessible bedroom and bathroom for my adult son. Frank, his son, Jim, and others in their team got right on the job and are still working for me. They have given attention to every detail. I have also had Frank's son repair floors where doors had to be widened to 36" , and he did a beautiful job and will also stain them to match the old flooring. The previous contractor installed a number of doors, but he did not match the wood with what I already had for doors in the house. Jim and his helpers mixed stains to match my old doors amazingly close in color. I can barely tell the difference.. Amazing work. He also hand-crafted a new oak-covered mantel for my living room, which he will stain to match the hardwood floors. It is so beautiful. When I told him it must have curved edges, so as not to injure my sone as he is moved past the mantel, he did that to perfection. Currently, they are painting the entire inside of my house. Three rooms are completed. They hare also begun the deck work, and the frame wood has been delivered. Frank is coordinating other work for me also. He is so responsive, professional, and genuinely kind and caring. So are Jim, his son, and the others in the team, Mike and Chris. .

Description of Work: We had a project that included taking down part of a wall to open up the area between our kitchen and family room. They were able to cut the wall and create a breakfast bar area. They encountered an issue with our duct work as they were doing the work, but they were able to fix it for us. They also put up crown molding in our family room which looks amazing.

Description of Work: He replaced the door knob on our door to the garage. Came the day I called. The price he charged included him going to the hardware store and paying for the new door handle. He was extremely polite.

Description of Work: Demolition of existing porch. Build new framing, add new footings, build over 400 sq foot deck and stairs. Azek(better then Trek in my opinion) composite decking we got the top on the line, Timberteck railings, lattice we got the top of the line, trim. Much of the cost is the top of the line material we decided to use.

Description of Work: Replaced bay window with French doors and replaced door off garage. They had to remove bay window and cut and make a double french door cut out and installed french doors. They also replaced the tile, where the wall use to be and added wood trim around the doors. The garage door they replace the existing door, regular swing open door on side of garage. Material cost was about 5,000.

Description of Work: Campano & Sons built a new deck, Installed Crown Moulding and Chair rail in my dining room.Deck work was done on time and passed all phases of Township Inspection first phase.Workmanship was flawless.I went on vacation to Europe and returned to a beautiful new deck.Cleanup was spick n' span. Campano did a second job in my dining room. Crown moulding was installed on some angular corners to perfection.Everything was caulked and the room left clean. Frank Campano showed up on time and the workers were all professional and competent.

Description of Work: I contacted Frank Campano & Sons along with several other contractors for the purpose of obtaining an estimate to rebuild an existing rear deck at my home. Frank was very prompt in coming over to look at the job to be done and provided valuable information on the work along with some great suggestions on materials to use in the construction of the new deck. Campano & Sons were selected to do this job. Since I live in a community that has a home owners association, Frank was very patient in working with me when some delays developed in relation to the approval process with the association. The new deck was constructed of pressure treated wood and came out great. Frank was easy to deal with along with all the members of his construction crew. They were courteous, prompt, easy to work with, and they cleaned up the work site to perfection at the end of each work day. In summation, Frank Campano & Sons provided a top notch construction job on the deck, (materials along with attention to detail on assembly), excellent price for the quality of the work performed, and were very easy to deal with on the various issues that always come up on construction jobs. In my opinion, that is as good as it gets whenever someone hires a contractor for any type of home repair/construction. I would hire Frank again without hesitation and will be sure to consider him for any additional home repairs that may fall into his area of expertise.

Description of Work: Adding a deck to a new construction

Description of Work: Construction of a new composite deck (9 feet above ground) with composite stairs and railings using AZEK composite decking material and TIMBERTECK rails. Also included installation (not materials) of a rail and stair lighting system. Overall deck size is 22'x14'. Joists 12" on center for added stiffness with stair stringers 9" on center (as required by AZEK). Also included HardieBoard (James Hardie) maintenance free trim.
