Description of Work: Added natural gas to my home and had piping work done. Paul also installed plumbing to move a washer and dryer from the garage into the house.

Description of Work: A copper elbow connector in my pex plumbing froze and cracked under the corner of my house during an extended cold snap. Because the water supply also fed my tankless hot water heater the leak caused the heater to run continuously. After determining the problem was a leak, not the water heater, I called Proficient based on its Angie's list reviews. He came quickly and replaced the connector. It was a tight, dark, cold and wet job but he didn't complain, just solved the problem a reasonable rate. I would use him again for any similar problem. I asked him if he was interested in quoting on the job of replacing everything plumbing-wise after my house is lifted (because of Sandy damage) but he was not, as he is a single-man operation at present.

Description of Work: This is the second time I've used Proficient Plumbing & Heating, and been very pleased. They're prompt even for non-emergencies, and their prices are very fair.

Description of Work: They replaced an old 30 gallon Hot Water Heater with a 40 gallon heater. Paul was very professional. They took the old one away. They fit the new heater in the space better than the old was put in. The pipe fitting look clean. So far very happy with the job. Just waiting for the inspection to be done. Highly doubt there will be any problems.

Description of Work: They cut through the tile in my bathroom to put in a new valve for the cold water. They also put in new faucets. They came in on time but seem to have taken longer then expected. They charged me exactly what they quoted, not a penny more.
